Rise of the Crystal Star

I haven't made a custom card in a couple of weeks, and thought I would give it a try.

 

The "Crystal Star" cards are basically Female monsters, with the exception of "Crystal Star Guardian". Please try to ignore the fact that a few of these pictures are overused, and reflect upon what can be improved.

 

In the spoiler below, I have the first "Crystal Star" card, along with some "Crystal Star" card write-ups.

Crystal Star Commander / LIGHT / 4 / Warrior / Effect / 1800 / 1600

LORE: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Crystal Star” monster from your hand. While this card is face-up on the field, all “Crystal Star” monsters gain 100 ATK for each card on your opponent’s side of the field.

Crystal Star Empress / LIGHT / 4 / Warrior / Effect / 1700 / 1600

LORE: If you control another “Crystal Star” monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can discard 1 “Crystal Star” card from your hand to increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 500 until your opponent’s next End Phase.

Crystal Star Guardian / LIGHT / 4 / Warrior / Effect / 1000 / 2200

LORE: While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another “Crystal Star” monster as an Attack Target. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not.

Goddess of the Crystal Star / LIGHT / 10 / Warrior / Effect / 0 / 0

LORE: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 2 or more “Crystal Star” monsters on your side of the field. The ATK and DEF of this card become the number of tributed monsters x1000. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Crystal Star” monster from your Graveyard. Its effect is negated.

Crystal Star Witch / LIGHT / 4 / Spellcaster / Effect / 1200 / 1000

LORE: Once per turn during your Standby Phase, you can discard 1 “Crystal Star” card from your hand to add 1 “Crystal Star” card from your Deck to your hand. When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Crystal Star” monster from your Deck.

Crystal Star Assailant / LIGHT / 4 / Warrior / Effect / 1500 / 1400

LORE: This card can Attack a number of times during each Battle Phase for each “Crystal Star” monster on the field. When this card Attacks a face-down Defense Position monster, destroy it immediately with this card’s effect without calculating Battle Damage.

LOFE: When this card is summoned, place 1 Spell Counter on it. Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 300 for each Spell Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to add 1 “Crystal Star” card from your Deck to your hand.

 

 

[spoiler=EN008 - Crystal Star Child]

Crystal Star Child / LIGHT / 3 / Warrior / Tuner / Effect / 1000 / 1000

LORE: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 “Crystal Star” monster from your hand. When another Crystal Star monster would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy this card instead and Special Summon it during your next Standby Phase. If this card is Special Summoned this way, it gains 500 ATK.

 

 

[spoiler= EN009 - Crystal Star Paladin]

Crystal Star Paladin / LIGHT / 4 / Warrior / Effect / 1900 / 1800

LORE: Once per turn, you can discard 1 “Crystal Star” card from your hand to the Graveyard. If you do, this card can Attack twice during this turn’s Battle Phase. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 “Crystal Star” card from your Deck to your hand.

Crystal Star Sorceress / LIGHT / 4 / Spellcaster / Effect / 1000 / 1500

LORE: When this card is summoned, place 3 Spell Counters on each monster that can have Spell Counters on it. Increase the ATK and DEF of each “Crystal Star” monster you control by 200 for each Spell Counter on the field. Once per turn, you can remove 2 Spell Counters from anywhere on the field to destroy 1 card on the field.

 

 

[spoiler=EN011 - Crystal Star Dragon & Master]

Crystal Star Dragon & Master / LIGHT / 7 / Dragon / Synchro / Effect / 2500 / 2000

“Crystal Star Child” + 1 or more non-Tuner “Crystal Star” monster.

LORE: Once per turn, you can draw a card from the top of your Deck and call the type (Monster/Spell/Trap) of card. If you call it right, Destroy 1 card on the field and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Crystal Star” monster from your Graveyard. If you call it wrong, your opponent draws 1 card and can remove from play 1 card in your Graveyard. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can tribute 1 “Crystal Star Child” to Special Summon it.

 

 

[spoiler=EN012 - Crystal Star Android]

Crystal Star Android / LIGHT / 7 / Spellcaster / Synchro / Effect / 2000 / 2000

“Crystal Star Child” + 1 or more non-Tuner “Crystal Star” monster.

LORE: When this card is Synchro Summoned, increase its ATK by 500 for each “Crystal Star” card on the field. Once per turn, you can decrease the ATK of this card by 500 to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can tribute 1 “Crystal Star Child” to Special Summon it.

I think I will have Crystal Star Child be the only Tuner, the majority of other "Crystal Star" cards be Level 4, and ALL of the Synchros be Level 7. This will clear up any problems for the Synchros.

I think I know why no one posted.. all of your cards are OP.. that is all.

when you edit them I will rate.

 

That is one of the reasons why I am putting these up here. I am unsure how I can make them less OP'd. That is why I want YOUR criticism on how to fix them.

well they all summon and add to your hand "Crystal Star" monster that you will easily summon and have their effects activated.

[spoiler=you can just do this]

Crystal Star Commander --summon--> Crystal Star Witch --discard any card add 1 Crystal Star Empress and it can summon it self.. that is 3 monsters with just 1 discard.

or Guardian since it have 2200 DEF and no monster with level 4 or lower can destroy it so your opponent must have 2 level 5 or higher monster to destroy it.. that or just use effects that is not easy.

"When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 “Crystal Star” monster from your hand" why didn't you say I summon any “Crystal Star” synchro I want.

 

my point is that swarming the field like this with out any thing to pay is OP.. some have a pay but it is not enough.

WOW I say "OP" alot these days.

Crystal Star is pretty much all about swarming and ATK gain.
