Pokemon: A Lost Clue

Hey everybody. This thread marks my entrance into the Fan-Fic section. Please, enjoy.

[spoiler=Prologue]

George Harrson sits on his bed looking at his Sherlock Holmes book. He'd just sent his three children to bed, and smugly pulled his covers over him in an attempt to not wake up his sleeping wife or her Vulpix. He opens his book to where Sherlock would have found a vital clue to his investigation. In its place, however was a hollowed out part of the book. (George never really had a respect for books.) In the hollow chamber lay a Pokeball, containing his precious Growlithe. "Oh Growlithe, when will I find a day to be deserving of our friendship?" He asks to the Pokeball.

He hears someone coming in the hallway, so he pretends to be enveloped in is book. His eldest daughter appears in the doorway, sneaking something behind her back.

"Is something wrong, honey?" he wearily asks his daughter, peering up from his book. She just smiles and points the 2 pistols she had behind her back at her parents.

"Goodbye, forever."

[spoiler=Chapter 1 - A Forgotten Death]

Just over a year and a half after the death of their parents and mysterious disappearance of their older sister, Kyle and Alex's alarm clock wakes them up for the day after the last day of Pokemon Training School.

Despite the fact that they are twins, Kyle and Alex have little in common. Kyle has brown medium length hair, and green eyes. He's 5' 2", and wears his usual green T-shirt with jeans. Alex is the taller of the two, three inches taller than his brother. His hair is short and blonde. He has the same green eyes as his brother and wears a blue T-shirt with jeans.

They walk down the stairs, and are greeted by their Uncle Jerry in the kitchen. "How's bacon and eggs sound for my new Pokemon Trainer nephews?" he asks them, placing bacon in a frying pan.

"Yeah, I'm good with that."

"Me too, I guess."

They sat down at the table where their Aunt Beatrice greets them with a mumbled "Good morning." Jerry comes in with four plates of bacon and eggs. If there had to be only one thing Alex and Kyle liked about their Uncle, it was that he was the best cook ever. They would arrive home from Pokemon Training School every day and immidiatly ask what delicious concoction he was making for dinner. The tasty food he made also served for interesting conversation at the table, but today, a more serious topic was at hand.

"Before we eat, I'd like to propose a toast, to our new Pokemon trainers." Jerry stated.

"Cheers." everyone said, before digging into the breakfast before them.

~2 hours later~

"Can we open our eyes yet?" Alex asked, waiting impatiently with his eyes closed. "When are you going to let us see what are new pokemon are yet?"

Kyle and Alex were led into their living room, where their new pokemon to help start their journeys supposedly were. "Okay, open your eyes."

They opened their eyes to see a Torkoal and an Absol standing smugly in front of them. "Oh, thank you so much, this means so much to us!" Kyle stated, looking in amusement at their new pokemon. They gave their gaurdians a hug and went to check out the Pokemon.

"They look so sweet, those two." Beatrice stated, in a much better mood now that she's had her morning coffee. "It's a shame they have to go off into the world. I almost feel bad for them, with us putting so much responsibility on their shoulders."

"Relax, Belinda. You worry too much. They'll be perfectly fine."

"Hey, Kyle," Alex said, "Let's go have a battle outside, to test our new Pokemon."

"You're on."

Soon, Kyle and Alex were standing outside in their backyard, preparing their Pokemon for battle. They looked at the Pokedex's they recieved on their last day of school. "It looks like my Absol knows Pursuit and Leer, an your Torkoal knows Ember and Harden." Alex stated. "I guess we're ready for battle now."

They stood on opposite ends of the backyard, with their pokemon in front of them, ready to fight. "I'll go first!" Kyle shouted. "Torkoal, go and use Ember!" Kyle's Torkoal nodded to him and shot small fireballs at Absol.

"Nice one Kyle. Now, Absol go and use Pursuit!" Alex ordered his Pokemon. Absol disapeared into a shadow and slammed into Torkoal. The two of them kept battling until they thought their Pokemon had enough.

"Good job, guys." Jerry said, bringing a plate of snadwiches and Watmal berries out. "But, I think it's time for lunch."

"Wow, those sandwitches were great!" Kyle stated, "I'm stuffed!"

"Well, Auntie and Uncle, I think we'd better be going. We don't want to miss out on a single day of awesome adventuring!" Alex, said, his eyes starting to tear up over the thought of leaving their Aunt and Uncle.

And with a tear-filled hugging-overloaded goodbye, Kyle and Alex were off to start their adventure as new Pokemon Trainers.

It doesn't state that she's killed her parents so there is a few situations that could happen from here.

1 - The father takes the guns away from her and grounds her for a month

2 - She actually does shoot them both and takes her mothers vulpix.

3 - She goes suicidal because she's emo.

Well thats how I think it will go down.

Seemed very interesting at first' date=' then the first chapter saddened me..

Try to make it longer, and more detailed. I enjoy the story so far, the random killing of the parents is actually interesting...o.0

Don't forget though, it was only the first chapter so didn't have to enter a major plot twist.

@Tortoise

Looking Good
