I don't want to sound like the typical old man, but things definitely were better when I first joined. People didn't feel the urge to sound witty in every single post, it was a friendlier community.

 

Oh, and DJ Osiris (Junk Raver?) made cards, as well as a member called Shini? Shinigami? I can't remember. But those two were my inspiration and my teachers, even though I never really talked to either of them. Yeah, this site is still mostly about the card making to me, now even more so, perhaps, since the community has become... kinda terrible.

 

Never been too much into the big dramas and raids stuff, so I can't reminisce much about those things, but I do remember Static and 2sick being fun to debate with.

Steven was truly one of the greats. It's a shame that honest members like him have been swept under the carpet in this age where self-expression has become bureaucratized.

 

 

A couple of memorable members I'd like to add: maddog15, yugiohmasta, NP Sage, Shaco, and Silverboy0213 (let it be known that my first act as super-mod was banning him and his double account). If you don't know who silverboy was, I suggest you read this.
