I never understood why everyone hates Satan. He never did anything wrong. All he does is sit in hell and punish people for their sins. :/

No they're not. Lucifer was the king of Babylon, which is after the time Satan convinced Eve to eat the apple. Plus, Hell could not exist without a ruler. So if Lucifer and Satan are the same people, Lucifer could not have been condemned to Hell because Hell did not have a leader. For their to be a God, there must be a Devil (an anti-god(Satan in this case) to balance out the God's power. So, Satan has existed as long as God has. Meaning, Lucifer could not possibly be Satan.

That's a misconception. That lucifer was a different one, the literal hebrew term of his name is to shine, where the real Lucifer's was light-bearer. although similar, they are two different people in the bible.

No-one should seriously take every word of The Bible as fact. That's simple logic. I'm Atheist so I would think that, though you'd be a fool not to realise that it does teach how people should live their lives to some extent. Hope, forgiveness, happiness and equality are all promoted positively in the Bible.

 

As far as religion goes, the only religion I think has any credibility is Buddhism, and even then...

On topic: I have never had walmart cookies. They seem pretty pricey(/poor) for something which looks to be low quality, so I have never even considered buying them.

There are several different depictions of Lucifer / Satan or Lucifer and Satan. I know that because I played Persona 3. In it, the Japanese depict Lucifer and Satan as two different deities. However, the Bible says differently. This is clearly, as I said, based on different religions.
