YCM is like a cigarette..

You try it once' date=' and you come back for more. Suddenly, without realising, you're hooked.

It's so addictive you can't leave. You ruin friendships and lose friends.[hr']

Discuss YCM before and YCM now.

When I joined, I was a stereotypical nub that was horrible at a childrens card game. Now I'm the best for several cities/towns/whatever you want to call them around. All I really used this site for was to get better. And now, I'm getting it out of my system. I only come on here about once or twice a day now for a little while.

Life overall for me may have gotten worse' date=' but I REGRET NOTHING.

Really none of the horrible things are YCM's fault, and the best thing in my life probably would never have happened if I hadn't joined here in the first place.

Frankly I disagree, because being on here accomplishes absolutely nothing, and you all of us could've done something better with our time.

Anybody saying that this site is addictive' date=' are really, really pathetic.

Real people keep it to themselves.

Real people don't go on this site. We're all imaginary.

Everything is imaginary. I'm actually in a tube in suspended animation and I only think I'm typing to "people" over the "internet".

What the fuck do you know, huh? You don't know anything about my life so you don't know what "the best thing in my life" is. So for all you know, which is absolutely nothing, it might not have happened if I hadn't joined here. Which it wouldn't have.

Start breaking the second. It's far more interesting.

My English grade actually went up since the time I joined YCM, mainly because of all the "intelligent" (HEAVY, HEAVY USE OF QUOTES) people and Grammar Nazis. I'm not an idiot, so my other grades didn't go down (except for History, but there is another reason for that).

And I agree that YCM is a drug, and a pretty bad one because it doesn't make me feel happy. I made a promise to myself that I'll quit before college, and if I don't I will burn one limb from my body every 3 months I go without quitting.

*looks at post count*

*looks at registration date*

In all honesty, YCM hasn't impacted my real life that much. I still have the same friends, and I'm still getting the same grades.

I'll admit that the site is addicting. The Leaving/Return Thread is hilarious.

lolYCM Guy 1 - I'm leaving.

*MAGICAL TIME SKIP TO TOMORROW*

lolYCM Guy 1 is online.
