CinnamonStar
OMG I'm hooked on Lesiem again.D= I have different phases in music and right now I'm full on stuff like Gregorian, Lesiem, Vangelis...and always Yuki Kajiura.=D IDK I just need the balance, I do love loud, beatiful or lunatic music most of the time but sometimes I also need...something else. Lesiem is New Age music with Gregorian choirs but New Age isn't always related to New Age religion (2012 and the new Aquarian Age, that stuff), even though with the people behind Lesiem, I'm almost sure that there's something really spiritual behind it. I think I read on the site that it's something like expressing the feelings about the new century through spirital music. LESIËM is a fusion of the past and present, a polyphonic journey through time through music worlds seducing the audience into a world of daydreams and awakening its curiosity. LESIËM knows no limits in the positive sense, knows neither boundaries of time or space nor religious or linguistic barriers. LESIËM is a book of seven seals waiting to be unlocked. But anyway, I still like them, all the songs are beautiful but my favourites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frPrHvawfxI Tip: Do not rely on them to learn Latin though, the Latin isn't correct.xD So discuss Lesiem and other gregorian chanting. The woman who sings is Maggie Reilly and the choir is from the Berlin Opera.
