Eletinbuki: The Elemental's War [started/ACEPTED MEMBERS ONLY] (PG-13)

Welcome to Elemt Island! Here reside the Eletinbuki or ‘Elementals’. Here there are more then just water/earth/wind and fire. Everyone here controls an element but there are the ‘Suyin Eleinbuki’ or Chosen Elementals that are a bit more powerful. They each have a ‘Guryanka’ or Gaudrain that takes the form of an animal spirit and also controls the same element as them. These spirits offer help and advice to the chosen few. But now there is something dark lurking that threatens all. Are you a Chosen Elemental? Let’s find out, shall we?

personality; Ashika has a sharp tounge and unpredicatable personality. though she is usually kind, loyal, clam even under extreme stress and intuitive. Be wry of her though! She can easily go from zero to sixty in a matter or milliseconds and when she does it’s a MAJOR change!! She is adventurous and never backs down from a challenge. Though she is a skilled healer she can do more then heal wounds and is very skilled at using her powers. Her best friend is her Gaurdian spirit who goes with her everywhere.

Ashika was thrown back and hit her head on a boulder by the river. She glared at her opponent and rubbed her head. Nakala had just jumped up on the boulder and was growling at the other person meanincingly. The girl stood and rubbed her head. "You have no idea who you are messing with. Suyin Eleinbuki!", she yelled as she stepped into the shallows. The clear water rose up and encircled her completly. At the same time Nakala began to glow a pale blue. When Nakala stoped glowing and the water released Ashika they were different. The other backed up with a frustrated look. Ashika grinned and raised her hands. Behind her streams of water exploded out towards her opponent like arms. Nakala was right at her side and she drew strngth from the gaint spirit wolf. She was Hyrda/Helie Suyin Eleinbuki. The Chosen Water/Ice Elemental and Nakala was her Guryanka. She had the power to both heal and destroy and her personality reflected her element. Right now it reflected ice.

Raven walked through the forest quietly, gingerly stepping over the bulging tree roots. "Yomi, are you sure it was this way Yomi?" A soft, gentle voice sounded from the girl who ducked under a low tree branch. "I don't see anything."

 

There was a slithering sound coming from her neck as the head of a silver snake rose at the girls question. "Yes, Raven-sama. I sense the energy of another Guardian. Just keep walking in this direction, the energy is getting stronger." Raven nodded at the hissing, snake-like reply and continued in the direction given, soon hearing what sounded like running water and shouting voices. Raven came to a stop and quickly hid behind a tree when she sw the other guardian spirit Yomi was talking about. It was a wolf, and by the looks of it, it was in it's true form. She then turned to the girl who was obviously an water user, by the way the water around her seemed to vibrate with energy. "Looks like you were right." She whispered trying not to be noticed by the girl or the guy she was fighing.

Ashika manuverd the arm-like strands of water so that they lashed out at her opponent two at a time. The man was unaterally fast though and managed to avoid each arm of water. "Nakala!", she said to the large blue and silver spirit wolf. "I'll get him!", Nakal growled and luanched herself from Ashika's side. A stream of water appeared from the river and solidified into a floating path of ice. Nakala raced over it and jumped off the end before colliding with the man. She landed inbetween Ashika and the man as he was thrown against a tree. Ashika pulled the strands back to her and lashed them at the man again only they became daggers of ice. The man laughed, "Untill we meet again Suyin Eleinbuki Ashika." A black smoke surrounded the area and when it cleared the man was gone. With a crack Ashika noticed the ice daggers had done serious damage to the tree trunk instead of the intended target.

Raven gasped and threw herself back when the man came colliding with the tree she was hiding behind. To make this worse, for Raven anyway, the ice girl attacked the man with ice daggers seriously damaging the tree. The tree gave an ominous creak, and Raven eyed it warily thinking it was going to fall. Raven slowly inched herself back watching the girl. It didn't look like she was in a good mood, who would be after just finishing a fight. "Raven-sama, if you are not going to engage the female in conversation, then it would be best if we leave now." Raven nodded distractedly at Yomi. "Yeah...I think you're right Yomi." Raven whispered quickly before turning around and made to leave.

[Auralady]

Nakala's head turned back to the tree. "What is it Nakala?", Ashika asked curiously. "I sense a strong energy. We are not alone still.", Nakala replied padding over to the tree still in her true form. Ashika suddenly spotted a girl walking away from the damaged tree. "Hello.", her voice was gentler then it had been when she was fighting and her gaze lost most of the fire it had before. The surface of the river reflected her now calmer attitude and the ice daggers melted and were absorbed by the ground. She slowly walked up to the girl with Nakala at her side. "I didn't hit you, did I?", she asked worried.

Raven whipped herself around when the girl spoke to her, asking if she had hit her with her attack. Raven didn't reply at first still a bit weary of her. Although, she seemed a bit calmer as well as the river behind her. Soon she shook her head, "No...I am not hit. I'm sorry for evesdropping on your fight, I hadn't known and Yomi had sensed another guardian and-" Raven cut herself off as she had began rambling. "I'm Raven Wanosuke." There was a hissing noise that sounded from around her neck. "Oh, sorry. And this is Yomi, my guardian..."

 

Yomi inclind his silver head his tongue swiftly shooting out, and said in a hiss. "A pleasure Guardian of Ice."

[Auralady]

Nakala inclined her head to, "My pleasure as well Gaurdian of Darkness. I should have realized becoming my true form was sure to send out a strong wave of energy."

 

Ashika grinned a little bit, "I'm Ashika and this is my gaurdian Nakala. I'm just glad I didn't hit you...I can sometimes lose controll too easily. So you're a Chosen Elemental too. I hadn't met any others, just heard rumors really. Anyway, don't worry about the evesdropping on the fight. No big deal." Ashika had noticed Raven was somewhat unerved by what had just happened and she hoped she wasn't unerved anymore. Raven and Yomi were the first Chosen Elemental and Gaurdian she and Nakala had met so far and she was really curious. Thinking Ashika was surrounded by water again only when it disappeared she was back in her normal form. Nakala stayed in her true form though to be able to, Ashika guessed, talk to Raven and Yomi still.

 

Nakala sat down and rolled her eyes. She had noticed Ashika reverted back to her normal form. "'Sometimes'? If you can count a good portion of the times you battle 'sometimes'. At least you've been able to calm down in a timely fashion."

Raven giggled at what Nakala said, then turned to Ashika, "Yes, I am as well and Nakala said I have power over darkness. You were the first elemental I have met as well, but I usually try to stay away from large energies that Yomi sense. However, he was curious about Nakala's energy as it felt similar to a guardian's. Although it would be a lie if I said I wasn't curious as well." She smiled shyly at the two feeling calmer now that Ashika was calm. Raven could tell that Ashika was just as curious as she was.

 

From there Yomi took over the conversation. "From how well you used your powers earlier can I safely assume that this has not been the first time you have fought in battle."

[Auralady]

Ashika couldn't stop herself from giggling to. Then she answerd Yomi, "You're right, it's not the first time. Of course it was the first time the person I was battling turned into smoke and just vanished. I wasn't quite prepared for that but,", she shrugged," you learn something new all the time so I guess I shouldn't have been to surprised. So where are you guys headed? I always thought darkness users lived a little farther then here." Though the question sounded like a cue to leave Ashika really didn't want to sepperate from Raven and Yomi yet. Then her gaze drfted to the damaged tree, "Whoops. Better fix that." "I'll do it.", Nakala padded over to the damaged tree and carfully licked it. Instead of saliva a trail of water was left behind and the bark began to mend itself.

Raven listened quietly to Ashika, about how the man escaped and she quickly cut her eyes over to Yomi with a knowing look. Raven smiled at her questioned and shrugged, "I really don't have a set destination I have just been walking. As for where I live it's no where and every where." She giggled at her confused face. "I do not remember my home or even if I ever had one to begin with. So when I am tired I either sleep where ever looks comfortable or seep into the shadows and rest in the darkness."

 

Raven watched in intrest when Nakala revived the tree to it's unbattered form. "I have heard of your healing abilities Nakala, but I have never been sure as I thought they were mear rumors." Yomi hissed also watching the Ice duo with intrest.

 

Raven held her head down and asked a bit shyly, "Although, if you wouldn't mind...I would like to travel with you. Otherwise it would just be me and Yomi, and I enjoy talking with you." She then quickly added at Yomi's hiss, "Not that I don't enjoy your company Yomi."

[Auralady]

Ashika looked at Nakala when she padded back over before looking back at Raven and Yomi, "Sure. It's great to have company and I like talking to you too. But still, not remembering if you had a home...I rreally am sorry. Hey who knows? Maybe we'll find out some information out while we travel together." "What about you Raven? Haven't you ever been in a fight?", Ashika asked before suddenly back tracking, "That is..if you don't mind me asking." She blushed a little. She sometimes had a habit of asking questions that were slightly too personal.

 

By the time the foursome had started to walk again through the woods Nakala had reverted to her normal form. "Every Element has it's rumors. Wheather they are true or not may be different for each but every element has it healing ability if you just look closely.", Nakala said padding on the other side of Ashika.

Raven smiled at Ashika's optimisim. "Maybe you're right, I think I dream about my past but I can never remember them so I try not to stress myself over them. And don't worry about that, having a home was never really important to me...At least I don't think so. I don't exactly long for one." Raven then nodded at her question, "Actualy yes. Two days ago in fact, I don't know how he found me but he disappeared the same way you discribed." She then asked, "Where were you headed before the encounter?"

 

Yomi nodded his head at Nakala thinking about her words. "Yes...You are right about that."

Jecht had both fists clenched tightly together, sitting down, like a statue. Beside him sat a mountsin lion, appearing to be asleep. His name was, Chikyuu. Suddenly they both jumped up in unison. Jecht stomped his foot on the ground raising a large boulder. He hit it with his palm, making a crash like thunder. It flew forward, like a train, unstoppable.

Chikyuu raced forward and jumped on the boulder. He slammed hi paw down with great force breaking it in two but the halfs continued flying in opposite directions, crashing into two seperate trees taking them down.

Jecht smirked at the power but Chikyuu growled. "What?" He asked confused.

"We're not alone. Keep quiet!" HE hissed at him.

They nodded at eachother and both were envolped by the ground. Small holes were serving as breathing tubes. Each one of them looked like tiny ant hills.

[Auralady]

The group walked on and passed several trees that had fallen dwon as if by some great force. For the moment Ashika ignored it thinking it was some giant animal."That's strange. But as far as where I was headed, I was just relaxing by the river when that guy came by and challenged me. It's just so confusing. He just showed up out of nowhere at all. but it seems like we both had very similar if not the exact same encounter with whoever that guy was. So far it seems like this guy is targeting Suyin Eleintinbuki spacifically. And he kind of looked like a demon too."", Ashika said.

Raven nodded, "Yes a demon, but not a demon of darkness. He was one that even darkness would not go near." Raven then smiled to herself, "Darkness in this case being me, but if you are correct in your assumption, then the other Suyin Eleintinbuki are in danger as well. Let us hope that the others will be as lucky as we were in our encounters with the mysterous man." She said casting her eyes over the damaged trees wth both curiosity and sadness. "I wonder who would have the strength no knock over something so sturdy as a tree. Could it be another one of us?" She asked turning to Ashika for her oppinion.

[Auralady]

"There are big animals on this island but now that I think about it nothing really big enough to destroy two trees like this." Ashika stopped and began to examine on of the trees for clues. When she had completed her quick check she stood up and faced the two Gaurdains and Raven. She shrugged her shoulder's and sighed, "No scorch marks means no fire or light and there isn't any ice or water soaked ground around here which takes out water/ice. That must leave either darkness, earth or wind.", Ashika reported. Then she continued after a pause, "As for being one of us...I'm not sure. I mean....it very well could be one of us but we're not the only powerfull Elementals on this island after all."

Raven's eyes were closed as she listened to Ashika's findings. "I see...It was not done by darkness either for I do not sense the resedu that it leaves behind." She sighed looking around, "Well I hope who ever did this isn't someone to attack us. I really don't want to fight anyone." Yomi hissed in what sounded suspiciously like laughter. Raven blushed, "I just don't like fighting, is there anything wrong with that."

 

"Of course not Raven-sama." Raven sighed not believing Yomi in the slighest.

Chikyuu came up from the ground, very easily like he was walking up stairs and then returned the earth to its previous state. He came up for two reasons. One he was curious about who was talking from above ground and two he could breathe.

Jecht sensed the earth moved around him and followed Chikyuu upwards. "We need to work on something else." He said a little angry Chikyuu revealed them. Then noticed the two women, one with a wolf, the other, a snake. "Ummm, hello?" He said his muscles tense incase there would be "diffuculties".

"He's another with a Guardian." Yomi hissed looking at the boy, "And by the looks of it he has the Guardian of Earth." Raven nodded to Yomi, while giving a nervous smile towards the boy. She noticed him tense up, and she heard Yomi give a low hiss as if in warning to the boy. "Hello...Um, well I'm Raven and this is Yomi. Thats Ashika and Nakala." Raven spoke softly, both her and Yomi still watching him carefully.

[Auralady]

Nakala eyed the Mountain Lion. The grass at her paws became slightly frost bitten in a gentle warning but she stayed calm. "Hello Gaurdian of Earth." Nakala inclined her head towards the Mountain Lion but never lost eye contact. She didn't want to fight but she would if she had to protect Ashika or Raven.

 

Ashika decited to make the first move to try and relax things a bit. She slowly and precisly took half a step forward into the space that seperated the boy and Mountain Lion from her, Nakala, Rave and Yomi. Well, here goes nothing and everything., she sighed. She looked at the boy and smiled, "I'm the Chosen Water/ICe Elemental and Nakala is my gaurdian." She hoped her idea worked at least a little bit. Water useually got along well with earth after all. But then again we may not even if our elements do., Ashika thought hoping she was just being over worried at the moment.

Chikyuu stepped forward infont of Jecht, in response to the snake's hiss and bared his teeth the tiniest of bit.

Jecht smiled at the girl, who introduced herself as Raven, relaxing a bit. "I'm Jecht. This is Chikyuu. We are the Guardians of Earth." He said proudly and motioning to his Guardian. Chikyuu showed off his dangerously sharp teeth, threatingly, stepping forwards towards the others. "Play nice!" Jecht hissed at him and Chikyuu turned around and stared at him for a moment, before he turned and skulked around behind Jecht. Then sitting down, resting at Jecht's feet but still staring at the others waiting to fight.

Yomi pulled back his lips showcasing his fangs, but calmed down when Raven shot him a look. "I hate earth users. Always think they're so strong." He hissed low enough for only Raven to hear, as he curled around her neck his head laying on the right side of her chest, and his tail on the left. Raven only shook her head, walking up next to Ashika, "So was it you that did this? Were you practicing your powers or something? Or did you just get finished with a fight?" Raven blushed, "Sorry for all the qustions..."

"I don't mind." Jecht said smiling at her. "We were just practicing. Practice makes perfect and all that." He said watching the silvery snake, resting on her neck, very intently. "Now its my turn for a question. Considering you have a talking snake, you must be a Guardian too. What are you the Guardian of exactly?" He asked thinking of all the elements, trying to guess which element she had the control over. Not ice or water and not earth.

"You are correct, I am a guardian. The Guardian of Darkness to be more persice, and a Suyin Eleinbuki if you hadn't already guessed by seeing Yomi." Raven said returning the smile. "And please excuse Yomi for earlier. He is always one to jump to the offensive before hearing the other person out. So I apologize to both you and Chikyuu." She then added after some time, "You wouldn't happen to know if there is a town close by. I'm not really sure where we have been walking too, as I have just been following Ashika blindly." Raven then turned to the Ice user, "Unless you've had a destination in mind all along." Her voice was still soft, but it seemed to carry with the wind as all those around her had to trouble hearing her.

Ashika looked at Raven, "There is a large city nearby. Maybe two days walk at the most from here. I was thinking about going there and maybe getting a room somplace like a hotel. That is unless you want to camp out somplace outside the city. Or if these two know a closer place." Ashika looked back at Jecht, "Do you know any other place? Maybe one closer?" Of course Ashika didn't mind camping out or getting a room someplace in the large city. But she had to be honest with herself. If there was a closer place that would be best.
