Eletinbuki: The Elemental's War [started/ACEPTED MEMBERS ONLY] (PG-13)

[Auralady]

Ashika grinned and shook her head at Jecht's landing. Earth users were not ment for the skies. She began to fallow Raven with Nakala behind her. "Yeah. I could use a rest and maybe something to eat. Maybe even explore the town a little but at the moment a rest would be welcome most." She stopped and looked at the boys grinning still. She put her hand on her hip, "You guys comming or are you just going to stand there?", she teased.

Raymond happened to notice the look that came over Raven as she watched him land, and was perplexed by the hiss that Yomi gave him. He took a step forward, towards Raven. He held his hand out to her, inviting her. "If...If you want, Raven, I can take you...up there. I can show you what's so amazing about the sky. I can see it in your eyes, the want to be in the sky. I've seen it before, too, though not nearly as strong as it is in you. And, maybe we could let the others plan and rest in the mean time. So...do you want to fly?" His hand bobbed up and down, again inviting her to take it, and fly in the sky.

Raven had stopped walking at Raymond's offer and a wide smile, the widest she'd ever smiled, plastered itself onto her face. "Really! You would take me!? That would be wondful-"

 

"No it wouldn't." Yomi hissed rising itself up on Raven's shoulder to look Raymond in the eye. "Darkness users are not ment to be in the air. It's safer on the ground where shadows are ever present." Raven frowned knowing Yom was right, but she also knew he was just jelous because he wouldn't ever be able to grant her wish.

 

"Yomi's right...." She then smiled again, "But it's turning to night, and night time means darkness. So even if I'm in the air I'll still be surrounded by darkness." Without waiting anymore Raven grabbed Raymond's hand. "There problem solved." Yomi gave Raymond such a piercing gaze that one was sure he was glaring at the boy. Then in a cloud of black mist he vanished, and Raven sighed.

 

"He'll be fine, he's just cooling off at home." Raven then grinned at Raymond a bright gleam in her red orbs. "Shall we?"

""You two have fun up there and don't stay out too late." Ashika grinned, "I'm going into town to find a room. I am sure Sutro can pick up on Nakala's energy when you guys are done. See yeah later then." Ashika waved and continued to walk through the gates and into the town.

 

In the town people were starting to lock up for the night. She was glad when she noticed a well every few blocks, Those could come in handy., she thought to herself. She noticed Nakala had suddenly gotten quiet when they passed into the town's limits. She knew it was to not draw to much unwanted attention to the pair. She stopped in front of a nice little inn and nodded before awlking inside. She walked up to the young women at the front desk and smiled, "Hello may I have two rooms please? Some friends will be showing up later tonight." The women smiled back and handed her two keys, "Here you are. Your room is 256 on the top floor and your firend's room is 261 just down the hall." Ashika nodded, took the keys, gave her the money and went up the steps with Nakala. Once in her's and Raven's room she crashed on one of the beds. "Well. This has been an interesting day.", she laughed.

Raymond smiled at Raven. "Don't worry. Sutro can be the same way sometimes-" Suddenly, there was a powerful gust of wind from Raymond's shoulder, and the weight was lifted from it. "See?" Then, he gripped Raven's hand tight in his. "Make sure you hold on. I've never actually flown with another person before, so..." the next part came out rushed and quiet, "you may or may not survive." Then, he raised his other hand, and wind began to blow around the two, whipping their hair around, and flapping their clothes. Raymond grinned, as he always did before flight, then, punched his hand into the air. A sudden gust rose from below, and launched Raymond and Raven into the air. They floated high, and soon began to drop back down. Right as they did, Raymond created a cushion of air below them, keeping them aloft. "So...how is it?" He knew the stars were beautiful, but he couldn't take his eyes from Raven's.

A startled yelp of surprise came from Raven at the sudden rush of air, but it was nothing compaired to when they suddenly went shooting into the air. It was an uncomfortable feeling, and she felt her stomach drop her. She let go of his hand only to latch onto his arm, her eyes screwed tightly shut. It wasn't until a full minute before she slowly peaked only to realize that they were now suspended in mid air.

 

"Oh...This is.....So cool." The tight hold on his arm loosened up, but she was afraid of letting go and risk falling. "It's kind of weird though....Even though it's dark I still feel a bit weird being in someone else's domain..." Raven smiled nervously at Raymond, but her eyes shone with joy.

 

"I never actually thought I'd but up so high." She looked down in awe at how everything looked from a bird's eye view. "It's so weird...I'm used to looking up at them, but never down."

 

Ooc: I've just realized that I'm been calling my snake Yomi instead of Yami, like it says in my profile. So I'ma start calling him Yami again, so can you all just go with it please? Thank you.

Raymond smiled as Raven grabbed onto his arm. The pain that lanced through his arm as she gripped it was slightly startling, but he wasn't about to tell her that she could probably rip his arm off. Instead, he looked down, and also looked at everybody, who looked like just a bunch of ants. "I could actually go a lot higher. Except, the higher we get, the thinner the air will get, and the harder it is to breathe, and eventually, the air's just too thin to even control, and we would just plummet. So...this is the safest altitude. And don't talk all that crap about domains and all that. You're not in my 'domain', you're just in the sky. Though...the stars are beautiful." As he said this, his eyes moved back to look at Raven.

Raven blushed at the light scolding, "Sorry. That's how Yami would always explain the other elements. It is dangerous to be out of your domain, because your powers are limited and weakened." When he mentioned the stars she turned away from him, but felt his eyes on her. "Yes, they are very beautiful. Every time I look at them I feel as though I should remember something....But in the end it always escapes me. It gets annoying, but I have learned to deal with it." She grinned at Raymond then blushed and looked down.

 

"I have a question...Why were you so willing to bring me up here? I mean there was obviously nothing for you to gain, and you barely even know me." While she asked she didn't look at him, but instead at the stars with a sort of far off look on her face.

Raymond's eyes eventually drifted from Raven to look at the stars, even while she was talking. When she asked him why he had brought her up here, he looked back at her. I'd be only to glad to explain why I would bring somebody up here into the sky with me, he thought. "I...I mostly brought you up here because I saw the look in your eyes, your want for what I have. And...I don't need to gain anything, just to be happy. And...I may not know you much, but I know you more than I know anyone else. You know...you sound as if you've had amnesia in the past or something...Never mind, I don't want to pry. So...what are the shadows like?"

Raven smiled at his answer. "You cannot pry into something if there is nothing to pry into. You are right in saying that I have amnesia. As far as I know it's only been Yami and I." When Raymond asked how the shadows were like, she didn't answer him at first and seemed to be contemplaiting her answer. "It is dark and empty, yet full at the same time. When I enter the shadows I am alone physically, but all around me are the shadows of those on the earth....But I feel safe, warm and very much at home. It is not as bad as every one makes it out to be....It is actually quite nice." Raven giggled, "Although, not much of a sight. If you look up you see the 'Earth walkers', and well....Sometimes I see more than I wish. Other than that it is just a dark plain for as far as the eye can see."

 

"I would invite you but....Ashika said she blacked out when she entered. Although it could be because we were traveling, and she wasn't used to it....Hm, it is very interesting."

Jecht felt a rush of jealousy course through his veins. His fists clenched tighter and the small pebbles around him rose up to his chest started spinning around him. They continued to go faster and faster until it looked like a solid ring of rock.

He heard Chikyuu's purr-like chuckle. He snapped out of it and the pebbles stopped mid-air. They rushed directky towards Chikyuu but stopped halfway, Chikyuu didn't allow them to go any farther.

Chikyuu and Jecht had gotten into a full blown fight before. The only thing it acomplished was destroying the area and sendong huge boulders far away, probably to hit some city.

After a minute of the tension, the pebbles dropped and Jecht continued into the city, Chikyuu following close behind but lead Jecht to the hotle where Chikyuu sensed Ashika and Nakala. He asked the lady at the front desk and she imformed him where to go.

Ashika walked over to the small bookcase in the corner and looked at the books. Finally she took one off the shelf and sat cross legged back on the bed she picked out. Raven and Raymond were still gone but she wasn't botherd by it and opened the book. Curiously the book was about the Suyin Eleintinbuki and she laughed slightly as she began to read it. Nakala layed down in the middle of the room, "I sense Jecht and Chikyuu down stairs.", she said now that they were safe from the public's heaaring. "Yes well hopefully they asked the lady at the desk about their room." She turned the page and her eyes narrowed slightly. Nakala picked her head up and looked at Ashika, "What is it?" "Just something interesting. What exactly I am not sure yet.", Ashika answerd.

Jecht walked up the stairs to the top floor. "Why couldn't they have an elevator?" Jecht complained even though it was just a few floors.

Chikyuu just shook his head as he follwed behind. "Stop complaining and walk."

Jecht continued until they were at the end of the stairs. He walked down the hall to his room. "But I don't have the key." He said and turn around to find the room Ashika was in, he muttered the number over and over. Once he was there he knocked loudly on the door. "It's Jecht." He said, porbably unnessasarily since Nakala would be able to sense them.

[Auralady]

Nakala's ears perked up, "They're probly here for the key.", she said. Ashika sighed and put the book face down on the bed so she wouldn't lose her place. "Hang on a minute!", she called to Jecht and Chikyuu. She walked over to the dresser where the two room keys were. She picked up the one for Jecht's and Raymond's room and walked to the door. "Here's the key.", she said holding it out to Jecht. Nakala remaind on the floor in the center of the room but seemed to watch with interest out of the corner of her eyes.

"Thanks." Jecht said nodding and taking the key and heading off to his room but Chikyuu stayed behind and just stared at Ashika, blankly. "C'mon Chikyuu." Jecht called from down the hall watch Chikyuu stand at the door.

Chikyuu just stood there staring at Ashika for a moment or two more before turning back and trotted down the hall.

Jecht opened the door to see the room. He was extremely please two see actual beds again. His usualy slepping space was the ground. He layed down on the bed, relishing the moment.

Ashika watched the Mountain Lion go down the hall. She had half a mind to ask the gaurdian what was wrong and why he stared at her. She closed the door and saw Nakala grinning knowingly at her. "What?", she asked. Nakala smirked, "I guess it is true what they say about earth and water being compliments." Ashika shot her a dirty look understanding what the Artic Wolf ment, "We just met Nakala. And bearly know eachother." "Hmm....if you say so.", Nakala put her head on her paws and a small laugh escaped her. Ashika glared at her before crossing to the bed again and picking up her reading where she had left off.

Jecht sat up finally and looked at Chikyuu, who pacing around the room. "Somethin' wrong?" He asked his eyes following him.

Chikyuu stoped and stared at Jecht. "There's something . . . wrong." He replied.

"What do you mean?" Jecht asked curiously, now sitting fully up, alarmed.

"I don't . . . know really. I feel like something bad's going to happen. Like we shouldn't be here for some reason." Chikyuu began pacing again. "Its probably nothing but maybe not."

[Auralady]

Ashika took off down the hallway with Nakala at her side. She was transformed and Nakala was also in her true form. At the moment she didn't care about being seen as she headed for Jecht's room. She ran into the room. Nakala's ear were back and her fangs veared as she went to look out the window. "We've got to go or do something now Jecht! Something's terribly wrong!", she told him seriously.

 

"What ever we are going to do it has to be done now. We have company Ashika." Nakala continued to glare out the window with her fangs beared back and snarl. she felt Ashika beside her in seconds. Her claws were out and gleamed in the lamp light that also reflected off her fangs. In the street was a strange and dark figure. All you could see was a crooked sillouete but he was looking right at Ashika and Nakala through Jecht's window.

Jecht moved over to the window to see the dark figure. "Yeah, not good." He said opening the window. "Chikyuu!" He called out as he jumped onto a flying disc of earth.

Chikyuu jumped onto the same plate of rock. HE was now in his true form. His arua was much stronger, every individule hair was covered in rock. Forming an almost indestrucible plate of armor.

Two huge boulders lifted from the ground, one from each of them. They soared towards the stranger.

[Auralady]

Ashika and Nakala fallowed suite. In addition to Jecht's boulders Ashika used the wells nearby to her advantage and created a staircase of ice with a platform at the top where she and Nakala stood. She then sent the remaining water over the edge of the wells and flooded the streets trying to drown the figure. But the figure laughed and disappeared in a puff of smoke and reappeared behind Nakala and Ashika before shoving them off and into the watery streets. Nakala landed perfectly and Ashika landed on her palms of her hands. She glared at the figure and stood up. Ashika's bad temperment made the tempature drop rapidly and a hurricane of shards of ice and water headed toward the figure.

 

Nakala looked at the pair on the floating earth disks, "You might want to cover your ears for this." She looked back at the figure and let lose a long howl. A howl that steadily grew into a screech and the water filled streets vibrated with the sound. Suddenly jets of water shot at the man like human hands.

Ooc: I was trying to wait for Spartin919 but Im just going to post.

 

After Raymond answered her she grew quiet and just stared at the stars. She smiled softly and began humming one of the songs before Yami suddenly appeared around her neck. "Raven-sama, Nakala has just transformed. Her powers her increasing as well as Chikyuu." Raven nodded quickly at Yami, who she notice was acting as if Raymond wasn't even there. "I understand." She then turned to Raymond, "Looks like our time together is going to be cut short. We must hurry to our friends."

 

She didn't wait for him to take her back down, and let go of his arm and allowed herself to fall. While falling towards the ground she transformed, a black shadow swirling around her, blocking her from view. When she was seen again her clothes had changed. As soon as she hit the ground, she didn't stop and sunk into the shadow on the ground, making it ripple like water.

 

Raven then rose from another shadow next by Ashika. "What is going on?"

[Auralady]

“Nice to see you again Raven. Yami.” Ashika nodded to them without taking her eyes off of the fight. She was making sharp movements with her hands and controlling the rotating vortex of ice shards and water. Nakala’s roar had summoned hands of water that were grasping at the dark figure. The figure seemed to laugh and suddenly stopped running away from Nakala’s and Ashika’s attacks. Instead he halted and thrust a palm to the vortex turning the water to smoke and the ice shards to spears of black crystals headed for the group and their gaurdians. Then he lept on top of the water hands and each turned to black smoke. A crystal caught Ashika in the shoulder and she fell back into the watery street.

 

Nakala roared with anger. “How dare you! You shall pay dearly now!” Nakala roared again and the water around them became an obstical course of whirlpools and water spouts. She was infuriated but also a gaurdain. This made her realize the danger the others and Ashika were in too. She stomped one of her great paws into the water and the water underneath her, Ashika and Raven suddenly rose high into the air where they were safe from the whirlpools and water spouts. It then solidified into a good sized ice platform.

Jecht tried furiously to aviod the water spouts and got to the same level as the others. Then a large boulder as large as Jecht, rose to the sky, controled by Chikyuu. It broke into a million small fragments. They floated in the air and then pointed in one direction. At the mysterious attacker. Chikyuu controled the rocks as they sped at dangerously high speeds at the unknown, shadowy figure, while Jecht concentrated on keeping the plate in the sky, and not plummeting to Earth.

Ooc: You willbe controling these mysterious men right Auralady?

 

A flicker of anger passed through Raven's ruby eyes at the sight of Ashika getting hurt. She glared down at the man, and nodded towards Yami who then slithered off of the ice platform and landed on the ground in his transformed form. "There is no way you can win fighting three Guardians." Yami hissed, before opening his mouth a black smoke pouring out. A pure black ball that looked darker that any darkness that anyone has seen, and as empty as any shadow. Yami aimed five of them at the shadowed man.

((The guy is sapposed to be a normal Elemental that acts like he fallows the Chosen Elemnentals but is really a traitor. I was going to pivk somebody that joined as a normal elemental to be him but since that hasn't really worked out...then yeah and I am changing the rules a bit so we have at least all the Suyin Elentinbuki. If anyone wants to be light or fire you can make an appli. for it. But for now I am just going to have the man appear sparodically untill they meet him and he joins them.))

 

The man smirked and let lose an scream. A burst of black fire jetted out from his mouth and collided with the gaurdains attacks creating an explosion. A mixture of dust, water, mud, and embers flew everywhere and coverd everything and everyone. The ice platform shatterd. "No Yami. It is you all that can not stop me. Hahaha!!", he laughed and vanished again.

 

Ashika sat up and rubbed her head. She was coverd from head to toe in mud and was soaking wet. A sharp pain shocked her arm and she noticed the black crystal still lodged in her shoulder. She grabed it tenderly and pulled it out. "Man! I don't think that man is a man anymore.", she said holding her shoulder and standing up. She dipped her other hand into the unused water in a well. When she removed her hand water was clinging to it like a glove. She touched the wound and the water seemed to go from her hand and encircle it. She winced as the wound began to slowly heal itself.
