Eletinbuki: The Elemental's War [started/ACEPTED MEMBERS ONLY] (PG-13)

Raven looked at Ashika worriedly as she healed herself. "Oh yes, I forgot you had that ability. I am glad that you are alright." Raven smiled towards Ashika as Yami changed back to his smaller form and curled his self around her neck once again. "That was the guy that we had a run in before we met you Ashika. I wonder who he is." She muttered examining Yami for any cuts or damage.

[Auralady]

"Can't go walking around like this. And can't let those embers grow into bigger fires either." Ashika waved her hands and the water soaking her and the others joined the water that flooded the streets in the form of a sphere. With quick and fluid flicks of her wrists Ashika sent the water out around part of the surrounding area and surrounded the homes with it. This put of the embers before they got too big. She then returned the water to the wells near by and looked at the others. "We all ok then?", she asked.

Chikyuu returned back to normal and Jecht relaxed. "We'll, I don't think we've seen the last of him." Jecht said looking around to see the man, but he apparently disappeared into thin air.

"He's definatly gone." Chikyuu said noticing how Jecht was looking around.

"Hmmmm, the first time I get to sleep in a real bed in, who knows how long, and we get attacked by some random shadow-like guy." Jecht said looking at Ashika and Raven. "What now?"

[Auralady]

"It's dark out. I don't think there is much we can do untill morning." Nakala yawned before reverting to her normal form before anyone could see her. "Besides, that room we were in was wonderfull."

Ashika laughed and relaxed as the water swirled around her and she returned to her normal form too. She streched and yawned too. "Yeah. I really need a good nap now. Anyone wanna stay the night and continue on in the morning like origionaly?", she asked. She was exhusted and looked at Raven and Yami, "I can show you to our room if you want. Raymond and Sutro's sharing a room with Jecht and Chikyuu."

"Yes, I think I would fancy a rest." Raven smiled at Ashika, before looking up to the sky. "It is a shame that my night in the sky was cut short. I hope Raymond is ok, I had left him without so much as an explination. Although, he probably assumed we could handle it and continued stargazing." She smiled and the snake that slithered lazily around her neck. "Well then, shall we head to our room now, Ashika?" Raven asked and waited for her to take the lead, since she didn't know where the room was.

[ArtemisFowl]

"Yep, just like the wind. It avoids the hard part and comes in once the fighting's over." Jecht said walking towards the hotel.

"Jealous." Chikyuu muttered, and looked like he was smiling.

"Am not." Jecht replied very childishly. Chikyuu rolled his eyes. A small pebble flciked at Chikyuu, and Jecht recieved a growl. Jecht smiled.

Chikyuu said something else but Jecht couldn't make it out.

[Auralady]

Ashika and Nakala led Raven and Yami to the door to their room. "Here we are. Let me just say it really is great inside too.", she said. She removed the key from her pocket and pushed the door open before stepping inside. She placed the key ontop of the dresser before sitting on the bed. "Well here it is. Night, I'm going to bed right away. See yeah in the morning then." Ashika placed the book she had been reading when they first arrived on the dresser by the room key and layed down under the covers. She turned off her light leaving only Raven's bed side lamp on and the only source of light in the room.

 

Nakala padded around in a circle on the side of Ashika's bed before laying down. She picked her head up breifly and nodded to Raven and Yami before falling asleep too.

Raven nodded and sat down on her bed. She turned off her bedside lamp and laid down. Yami curled up beside her head on the pillow. "Good night." Raven whispered before cloing her eyes and falling asleep.

 

From not to far away a young man, probably in his early 20'ies, was shooting across the ground on what looked like skates made or pure fire. Amazingly enough the grass he skated across did not catch on fire. "You said you sensed the energies over here?"

 

On his head was a red lizard looking thing, or a miniture dragon. Which ever one. Anyway it nodded it's red scaly head. "Yes, it was strong. Most likely more than one guardian since I was able to sense it from so far away." The boy nodded a grin on his face. "Well lets hope this time it's who im looking for. I'm coming for you Raven."

Raymond sighed, running over the events of the day in his head. He lay in a room in an inn in the town, and it was quite uncomfortable compared to the forest. Again, he sighed. After a while, he stood up. Restless, he left the inn. When he got outside, he looked up at the stars, and breathed in the night air. I believe without a doubt that my highlight of the day was the air-trip with Raven. She's quite a fantastic girl to know, and...and...I don't know. Raymond shook his head suddenly, trying to figure out his mind. Suddenly, there was a cry from above. Sutro came diving down, and landed on Raymond's shoulder. "There's someone coming," she said, panting. "I don't know who he is, but...but I felt something...something...horrible." Raymond looked around, indicating he wanted to know which direction. "He's coming from that way," Sutro said, lifting a wing and pointing. Raymond clenched and unclenched his hands. Whoever this guy is, he's NOT hurting me and my friends...especially Raven.

"So she's over there? Finally after all those years I can finally be with Raven." The red-headed man said, a wide smile on his face, as he looked at the town in front of him. "You do know she won't know you right?" The boy's guardian said, causing the red-head to glare at him. "Thanks for the support Takiino. You're always there for me."

 

"Oh, shut up Syne. Let's just hurry up and get this girl." Syne's lizard looking guardian said, rolling it's bright red eyes. "Yeah, yeah let's go." Syne said, his fire skates appearing again and he skated into the town. Syne came to a stop when Takiino sensed another Guardian. "Is it Raven?"

 

"I don't know, I can't sense which guardan it is." Takiino snapped.

 

"Hey! Remember who's head you're riding on." Syne warned now walking. He narrowed his eyes and hid behind one of the wells, at the sight of some guy wth an Eagle on his shoulder. He looked around the same age as him. "He must've been the guardian you sensed. We don't want a confrontation, all I want to do is see Raven."

"He's close," Sutro whispered in Raymond's ear. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the dark area. Where are you? I know you're trying to do something, but I don't know what. I do know...that I'm going to stop you! His eyes continued scanning, then stopped in the direction of a well. "I can sense him, over there," Sutro said again, her wing pointed in the same direction of his eyes. So...he's hiding from me. What does that mean? Weighing his options, Raymond wondered how to confront him. "Don't do what I think you're going to-"

 

"Hey! You out there! I know where you are! Show yourself!" Too late. Sutro put a wing on her head, imitating a facepalm.

"Damnit, I can't believe I forgot he would be able to sense us too." Syne said, as he stood and walked around the well so he stood across from the other guardian. "Look here, bird guy, I don't want a fight and I could care less about you." He started, "But, I have suspicious that there are other guardians here.....Am I correct? If I am, is there a girl by the name of Raven Wonosuke? I need to see her."

 

"Hothead, I sense more guardians inside of the Inn." Takiino whispered into Syne's ear. Syne nodded. "Good, then she may be here."

Raymond's mind almost blanked after the first sentence. "Bird guy?! Is that supposed to be some kind of a joke?!" Sutro muttered in his ear, trying to calm him down, but to no avail. "You...you could care less about me? Well I CERTAINLY could care less about you." Finally, the last few words that the boy had spoken clicked into place. "Raven Wonosuke? I know a girl named Raven...but what's it to you if she's with me or not, lizard man? Huh?! Why...why would you care whether Raven is...is here with me, or...or off parading around the world?!"

 

"Calm down, would you?!" Sutro almost screamed into his ear, though Raymond ignored her.

Syne's eye brow twitched at the term "Lizard Man". He growled his hands started sizzeling, "I am not a Lizard man, you bird brain! And I-Ouch!" Syne glared at his guardian, who just bit his ear. "Raven remember?"

 

Syne blinked, "Oh yeah." He then turned to the guy, remembering his last few sentences. "What I wanna know is why you got so defensive over Raven. Besides, I know she's here and I need to see her." He then glared, "And it's none of your buisness, why I want to know! Now we can either do this the easy way or the hard way. I

ve waited way too long to see Raven again, and you're not going to get in my way!"

Raymond almost laughed. "Bird-brain?! You tell me you wanna do it the easy way...and then...and then...You gotta be kidding me! You think it's none of my business why you need to see Raven...Well, it's none of YOUR business how I talk about ANYBODY I know!" Something feathery whacked Raymond on the head. "Would you just shut up?!" Sutro hissed in his ear. Raymond ignored her. "The easy way or the hard way, huh?! Well...you try and get by me however you want! Personally, I think the easy way would be for you to tell me why you want to see Raven! That might...MIGHT...make me let you pass me without a fight!"

"You might!? MIGHT!?" Syne growled, "I have half a mind to fry you on the spot!" He said glaring at him. Takiino muttered something in his ear that made Syne's eyes widen. "He WHAT!?" Syne eyed the guy carefully, before closing his eyes and taking a few calming breaths. "Look bird-brain, I don't know what you're thinking about when I said I needed to see Raven, but it's not the way you think.....I'm Syne Wanosuke, Raven's older brother."

Raymond had his hand up, and his mouth open, and was about to let loose a whole world of insults on the boy...until he heard his name. Pausing, he blinked, dumbfounded. "Raven's...older brother?" Sutro whacked him on the head again, and this time he flinched, noticing. "Oh...shoot," he muttered to himself. He jogged to get a little closer to him, and stopped about ten feet away. "Um...I...ahhh...I think we might have got off on the wrong foot." The wrong FOOT?! What am I thinking? This guy probably hates me right now! Raymond clutched his head, his mind whirling, trying to make sense of things. Taking a deep breath, Raymond leaned down, resting his palms on his knees. When he was relaxed, he stood back up. "Can we...start again?" Without waiting for an answer, Raymond walked up to Syne. "My name's Raymond Zaleski. I only recently met your sister, Raven. Which...might explain why I didn't know she had a brother." He held out his hand. "So...um...bygones?"

Syne raised an eyebrow at this Raymond kid, amused at his reaction when he found out who he was. "Looks like you were right about him Takiino." Takiino only grunted and rested his head intending on sleeping on Syne's head. The owner of said head, looked at the offered hand, then at Raymond with a smirk. "For now, I'll let this go." He grabbed Raymond's hand tightly. "But I will be watching you."

 

He let go then stuffed his hands into his pockets, "Now about my sister...That's complicated, but let me tell you this. Even she doesn't know she has a brother....So are you going to give me a hard time or are you going to start kissing up?" He laughed and threw an arm arond Raymonds shoulder. "Just kidding, but seriously, my sister. Where is she?"

Jecht layed down in the bed, Chikyuu was pacing again. "What is it now?" Jecht ask just wanting to sleep now.

"I'm not tired is all." HE said continuing to pace.

"Then go outside and go practice. I need to sleep." Jecht suggested and this time Chikyuu nodded and walked towards the window and jumped out, landing on a thin disc of earth right below him and flew off. To find Raymond and another guardian he did not know. His eyes looked at the both of them. "Well?" Chikyuu asked.

"So what guardian is my little sister?" Syne asked Raymon before, looking at the mountain lion, taken off guard when it was able to talk. "Oh...You must be one of the guardians that are in the inn." Syne smiled, "You wouldn't happen to be Raven's guardian, would you?" He was hoping that the lion was, because they are good protectors, and he would know that his sister would've been safe with him as her guardian.

[ArtemisFowl]

"No," Chikyuu replied bluntly, staring at the guardian with a sleeping, red, lizard on his head. "I'm the guardian of . . . another. I am Chikyuu, guardian of Earth. Who are you?" Chikyuu asked feeling a little suspisious of new guardian.

JEcht looked out the window to Chikyuu talking to two other people, he couldn't make out who they are. "What now?!" Jecht said feeling he should go down there so he took the same route as Chikyuu.

Syne's smile fell when Chikyuu said he wasn't Raven's guardian. "Oh...I see." It was then that some other guy came out, and landed next to the lion. That must be his guardian. He thought, keeping his eye on the new addition. "I'm Syne, and I'm looking for Raven I have to-"

 

"I am Raven," A female voice said, and soon the owner of the voice rose from a shado on the ground inbetween the two male guardians, "what do you want?" However, Raven's question fell on deaf ears, as Syne instantly ran at her engulfing her into a hug. "Raven! I finally found you!!"

 

Yomi, who was in Raven's arms, was dropped and was now hissing angrily and slithered over to Raymond's feet.

[Auralady]

Ashika walked out of the hotel and over to the group. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and yawned. She stoped next to Jecht and Raymond before looking at Raven and this new boy, "What they heck are you all doing up so early? The sun is just rising. I thought we were going to sleep in after last night." She looked at everyone slightly confused as to what was going on here. Finding some random guy huging a friend of your's would sonfuse anybody. Nakala padded over to the group and sat next to Ashika eyeing the boy hugging Raven.

Raven, who had never been hugged like this, was feeling extremely uncomfortale. "Um...Excuse me, can you please let go of me?" Syne quckly let Raven go. "Of course! I'm Syne Wanosuke! You're brother."

 

Raven just stared at him, not exacty knowing what to say. "A....Brother?" Syne grinned and nodded, "Yeah! Well, half-brother actually, but we're blood none the less! It's no surprise you don't know me, because we've never met." He grabbed Raven's shoulders gently. "But the important thing is, is that we're finally together."

 

Raven didn't know what to say so she just stayed quiet.

[Auralady]

Ashika narrowed her eyes and looked at Syne. She could tell he was a Suyin Eleinbuki because she noticed a lizard with him that had to be his gaurdian. Nakala growled slightly and she raised an eyebrow. "Not meaning to pry or anything but if Raven doesn't remember you then how can any of us be sure you are her half-brother? I'm sorry if I sound untrusting but this sounds a little...well....odd. That she doesn't know about you and then one day you just show up out of the blue. Normally I wouldn't be acting this way but given recent events it's better safe then sorry." Ashika crossed her arms and sat on the edge of the well looking at Syne intently.
