for it to be equipped to other monster, you need to put down "Once per turn, you can equip this card to a monster you control, it is treated as an equip card(if the equip monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead." well for the record, when it is treated as an equip card, it can never really be use in a synchro summon while equipped to a monster unless you put it this day, "when the equipped monster would used used in a synchro summon, special summon this card face up, the level of this card is equal to the equipped monster and is used in a synchro summon instead." i guess this is the beast i can do.
