Joel Hatten was originally a 16 year old teen, all he did was just played Yugioh in his spare time, that was all he did.... all he was good at was Yu-Gi-Oh.... Joel walking down the street with his head held high and his dragon deck waiting to sparkle... a thought entered his mind when he was about to enter the school, "I wonder what teachers would look like dueling types? Today's the day, my teacher will never pick on me again, I know he plays Yu-Gi-Oh, I mean look at him.... he's like me.... nerdy, geeky but there was 1 thing we did not relate on.... opinions" Joel enters 5C in his school and Mr. Whiler comes in, "YOU!!" he shouts as I hold my duel disk up high and say "Get your duel disk from under the desk and prepare to duel!" as he looks and laughs "You wanna duel me huh?? hahahaha!! I'm a pro, but I'll take you on and take you down!!" said Mr Whiler as he opens his desk and gets some cards out and his duel disk

"You ready? alright then lets duel" Joel shouted

"Get ready to lose Mr. Hatten" said Mr. Whiler

 

DUEL DISK ACTIVATES

"Alright teach I start off, I draw!" as he looks up and sees the field spell mountains and says to himself "Yes"

"I play the field spell Mountains!" and I summon My GOLEM DRAGON in defense

"I place 1 card face down and end my turn, oh yeah before you go, you can't attack my dragons" Joel says

"Why?" said Mr. Whiler

"Because of Golem Dragon's effect, it doesn't let you harm any of my dragon monsters from attack!" Joel laughs

 

*Mr. Whilers Turn*

"Alright my move!" says Mr. Whiler as he draws

"I place the magic card DARK HOLE" Mr. Whiler says with a grin

as all the monsters go to the grave yard.

"I NOW SUMMON MY MEZUKI in attack mode!!"

"I send 1 card from my hand to my graveyard and attack you directly!" Mr. Whiler laughs as he attacks! Mezuki runs up and takes a huge slice out of Joels life points

"I'm just getting warmed up" Joel laughs

"I choose to multiply your MOUNTAINS FEILD SPELL, and it multiplies by 6 ONTO MY 5 HEADED DRAGON giving it a total of 6800 attack points and now it's time to FINISH YOU OFF!!

"OH NO!!" Joel screams

"ATTACK!! Mr. WHILER shouts as it attacks his majestic dragon

"I activate DRAGONS RAGE!! say Bye to your life points cause the difference in the points of our monsters is dealt to you!"

"AHHHHH!!" Joel shouts as he is blasted away

 

JOEL: 100 points left

Joel gets onto his knees and says with his aching lungs "I give up, I can't win...." Joel lowers his duel disk and does the rest of his day.

 

Joel finally gets home all battered and bruised from the duel as he lays his bag down and goes up-stairs to his room and finds a shattered window and a deck of cards

Joel picks up the note and it says "You're welcome"

It's hard to understand what's happening, especially the last "note". Also, Mountain is horrid, Dark Hole is banned, and there are all sorts of other things that are weird.

 

Should the grammer become better, I'll be able to decode it.

Episode 2: The Rights To Shuttle Man PART 1

Joel couldn't see any of the cards, they were just plain white. Joel reaches into his pocket but nothing is in there, he was looking for his dragon deck but it's not in there. "Huh" Joel exclaims as he checks the other pocket, still nothing.... Joel thought to himself "is this an illusion..." as Joel just goes blank and faints onto the ground.

 

Joel's eyes open wide, as he jumps up and sees a man looking straight at him

"Huh?" Joel looked confused

"Get out your disk and your deck young man, it's time to duel" said the man

"Who are you??" Joel asks as he reaches into his pocket and grabs a deck

"I'm The Keeper Of Shuttle-Man" says the man

"I'll call you Keep" Joel says

"Sure, why not?" says Keep, Joel put his deck into his duel disk and yells

"Let's Duel!"

 

DUEL DISK ACTIVATED

Joel: 8000

Keep: 10,000

 

"What? How come you get 10,000 points??" Joel asks all shocked

"I'm the keeper, beat me and you get the shuttle-man deck" Keep answers

"Bring it on" Joel says

 

*Joels Turn*

"I draw" Joel picks up the top card of his deck

"I PLAY SHUTTLE-MAN SPACE SATELLITE in DEFENSE MODE"

"I place 2 cards face down and that's my move" Joel says

 

*Keep's Turn*

"My move and I draw" says keep

"I summon my Lord of Dragons in defense mode and play this"

"And I summon my Red Eye's Black Dragon"

"As well as my Red Eyes Black Chick in defense mode"

"I place a card face down and that's my turn" says Keep

"Wow! 3 Cards on 1 turn!" Joel exclaims

 

*Joels turn*

"My move" Joel says as he draws

"I play Shuttle Man Pig Skin in attack!"

"So what? why attack mode he's weaker" asks Keep

"Cause Pig Skin has a special effect, he absorbs 1 of your monsters attack points and can't attack till next turn"Joel says as Pig Skin Absorbs Red Eyes Black Dragons attack points!

"I now activate, Fusion Comet!"

"And I'm going to fuse 2 monsters from my hand"

So Shuttle-Man: Double Dragon and Shuttle-Man Robot Samurai merge

to CREATE SHUTTLE-MAN: ROBO DRAGON

and thanks to his effect, I get to take a card out of my deck and summon it to the field! and I choose Shuttle Man: Phobos, but I need to activate my other face-down the mars rover spell card!

so come FOURTH SHUTTLE MAN PHOBOS, but wait I'm not done yet Joel says I place the First Step spell card

Which allows me to summon, my Evolutionary Saviour: Ape Mongrel!"

"My move finally....." says Keep as he draws a card

"I send my Red Eyes Black Chick to the Graveyard to summon my Red Eyes!"

"I then activate the last card in my hand, POLYMERIZATION!"

"My move, I draw" Joel says as his hand picks up the card

"I use the swords of revealing light from my hand!"

"Now you can't attack for 3 whole turns, and I activate my 2ND STEP SPELL CARD

Which allows me to summon Evolutionary Saviour: CAVEMAN

"I place 1 card face down and end my turn!"

 

*Keeps Turn*

"finally, I draw!" says the keep and draws the card at the top of his deck!

"I place down another Flute of summoning dragon, looks like you forgot about my Lord of Dragons!!"

"I now summon my Red Eyes Darkness Dragon by sending my Red Eyes from my hand to the grave yard"

and my Red Eyes was the monster I summoned other than Red eyes Darkness! Anyway now I use "Monster Reborn" to bring back my red eyes!

I now equip my Red Eyes with the last card face down, I activate "Meta-Morph"

And now It becomes

RED EYES BLACK METAL DRAGON!!

"That's my turn" says Keep

 

*Joels turn*

"Alright, he's got an army lined up to take me down, this draw better count or else I'm toast..." Joel whispers to himself

"My move, I draw!" Joel shouts

Joel starts thinking, lets see what I've got, I have my Robo Dragon so maybe, I could fuse him with pig skin, but wait maybe then I could turn it to 3 way fusion!

"I use the EFFECT OF MY FUSION COMET, AND I'M FUSING MY ROBO DRAGON, PIG SKIN AND MY PHOBOS, TO CREATE!!

SHUTTLE MAN ULTRA-VIOLET!!

"*gasp* Nobody has ever summoned him, everybody who has tried has been killed by his vicious claws" says The Keep

"Now I'm going to use his special abilities, my first 1 is going to let me take 1 card from my deck and use it! I choose my Space Vortex!"

And I also using another effect so he drains your monsters attack points and I choose your Red Eyes Ultimate Dragon, so my Shuttle Man gains 4100 more attack points, and then an extra 500 point boost from my Space Vortex giving him 8400 Attack points and then flip over my X2 Spell card!

"Which multiplies my Shuttle Man's attack points by 2 giving him an attack power of 16800, Now go Shuttle Man: ULTRA VIOLET, ATTACK HIS RED EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON WITH ULTRA CLAWS SLASH!! Ultra Violet runs up and starts shredding Red Eyes Ultimate into pieces as he then slashes The Keep to take it out of his life points!!

"ARGHHH!!" The keep shouts as he falls back to the ground

 

Joel: 8000

Keep: 00000

 

"Game Over!" Joel says as the monster fades

"You are the one...." the keep says as he looks up, "hold those cards with pride, hold them with pride!!" as everything goes back to normal!

Joel becomes wide awake as he gets off the floor and takes a look at his cards, Ultra-Violet was at the very bottom of his deck just staring with a grin, Joel looks up at Ultra-Violet and says "I'm going to take a break, tomorrow I'll give Mr. Whiler a piece of my mind!!"

Dark Hole being banned has been a common fact since the creation of the ban list itself.

 

Also, in the current meta, the only actually played card that reduces of increases ATK is Burden of the Mighty, and Honest. Dragon-Type Decks will instead revolve around Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

 

I said this in a way as kind as possible, but the next poster who knows what a Meta is would definately flame you.

I've only recently gotten back into Yu-Gi-Oh so I really didn't know about the ban list, and I need to know, why was it banned, and The Keep is dueling with Joel's deck, He didn't get to Red Eyes that's all, and I know about Anti-Meta mainly, it's to practically stop the monster from special summoning monsters to get the upper advantage, it could also be for removing from play based.

Episode 4: A NEW CHAMPION OF SCHOOL EMERGES

Joel laced up his boots and done up his black emoish hair, Joel grabbed 3 things he needed to bring. His Deck, His duel disk and his bag. Joel was running until he stopped at the park and saw Mr. Whiler, "JOEL!" said a voice

"Huh??" Joel looked around as a spirit of Ultra Violet popped up beside him

"Oh what the hell.... this isn't GX" Joel said

"Something is echoing inside his deck" said Ultra Violet

"What do you mean" Joel asked

"A terrible dark power that needs to be stopped right this instance"

"HEY TEACH!" Joel shouted

"ohh Great, what do you want??" Mr. Whiler asked

"Hey about you get out your duel disk and bring on the battle!" Joel said

"Why should I? I'd only humiliate you again" said Mr. Whiler

"What's the matter to chicken" Joel replied

"Fine, meet me in the Duel Arena up in Mercy Boulevard!" Mr. Whiler said

"Fine, meet you there!" Joel said as he looked at his golden watch with his green bloodshot eyes! "OH CRAP, I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL" Joel exclaimed as he ran for his life.....

*SCHOOL*

"Alright everyone grab out your books and pencils we're going to have a surprise test today, this test will account for 1/10 of your grade!! have fun" said Mrs. Reila

"SORRY I'M LATE MISS!" Joel says as he jumps to the desk and starts the test

"It's Lunch time thank god" Joel says as he runs out to the yard. Joel sees the so called top duelist facing newest rookie.

"JARED, JARED!" everyone was chanting

"I place 1 card face down and that's my turn" Emily said

 

*Jarred's turn*

"I draw" Jarred says and picks up the card

"I play my White Knight Fort Dragon in Attack mode by discarding 2 monsters from my hand" Jarred says

I then activate my Dragon's Mirror Spell Card

And I'm bringing back my 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon's but fusing them by removing them from play!! 1 you destroyed and 2 I sent to summon my Knight Fort Dragon!

So come out my BLUE EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON!

"I've got 1 last card in my hand, can you guess it??" Jarred said

"I've got a clue" Emily says

"No you don't" Jarred answered back

"Yes I do" Emily replies quickly

"Oh yeah, what?" Jarred said

"Well... I've studied your moves closely and seen how you play, so your last card is toon world!" Emily points

"F**K YOU!!" Jarred shouts

"I activate TOON WORLD!!"

"And my first monster that goes in the big book of toons is my.." Jarred says

"Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Emily says

"Precisely!" Jarred says

"So come fourth Blue Eyes Ultimate TOON Dragon!"

"But I can't attack on first turn my monster is summoned so I place down a face-down and end my turn!" Jarred says

 

*Emily's turn*

"You didn't attack because you didn't have any monsters!" Emily grinned "But I guarantee victory!"

"I draw" Emily said as he got a card she needed

"I activate graceful charity, so I discard 2 cards and pick up 3"

"1,2 and 3" Emily says as she places Exodia's left arm, "I flip over the next four cards" as she reveals the next for pieces to EXODIA!

"GO EXODIA THE FORBIDDEN ONE!"

"What's your last move Jarred!" Emily said with a grin

"You twirp!" Jarred said with fear

 

*Jarred's Turn*

"I draw" Jarred says

"I end my turn" Jarred says straight after

 

*Emily's Turn*

"I draw! EXODIA OBLITERATE!!"

Exodia completely destroys Jarred's monsters as well as all his life points!

"ARRGHHHH!!" Jarred says as he is complete torn and knocked to the ground.

 

Jarred: 0000

Emily: 2800

"EMILY, EMILY, EMILY!!" The Crowd chanted!

"All of yous shut up and take a hike!" Emily says

"JARRED, JARRED, JARRED!" they start chanting and leave with Jarred

"That was a good match, even though I watched half of it!" Joel says to Emily

"Thanks, I could've ended it alot sooner because I had an even better card, duel me tomorrow at the Duel Arena on Mercy and I'll see what you got!" Emily replies

"Sure!" Joel says and runs off to get to class.

Joel was walking down the street as the time was finally here, it was time to bring Mr.Whiler down.

"Joel!" said Ultra Violet

"What is it Ultra Violet??" asked Joel

"I don't know but it can't be good, look up there" Shuttle Man Ultra Violet answered as he pointed to a dark mystical energy in the sky.

 

1200: HALIOS

4000: MR.WHILER

"Now kid, it's time for the grand finale, my ultimate creature!" Mr.Whiler says

"His five-headed dragon!?" Joel said

"My Egyptian God HORUS!" Mr. Whiler

"huh?? it's just like my egyptian god Anubis!!" Halios gasped

"You get 1 more turn until my Egyptian God kicks your ass all the way out of this whole arena" Mr. Whiler said as he threw 1 card face down and ended his turn.

 

*Halios turn*

"Let's see I've got 3 monsters on the field and my Pot of Greed spell card, and if that doesn't work I can use my graceful charity" Halios muttered to himself as he activates POT OF GREED "Go, I activate my Pot Of Greed spell card!"

as Halios draws, "Just the card I was looking for as he drew his Egyptian God Anubis, "I sacrifice my 3 monsters in order to summon! my Egyptian God Anubis"

"So every time you draw I gain 500 life points! I place a card face down and that's my turn" Halios said!

 

*Mr. Whiler's turn*

"I draw

HALIOS: 1700

and I'm going to attack your Anubis with my Horus, Mr. Whiler says as he attacks!

"arghhh!" Halios says "I'm activating my spell, Swords of Revealing light!!"

"Fine whatever, because I activate my De-Spell!!" Mr. Whiler says

"And now I play my other spell, monster Re-Incarnation! so I discard 1 card from my hand and bring back my Horus!"

"Oh and did I mention he can attack TWICE in ONE turn, so you're out of options kid!" Mr. Whiler says "GO HORUS ATTACK LIGHTNING RAISE!!" as I bolt of lightning heads for Halios, "ARRGHHHHH!!!" as Halios falls to the ground!

 

HALIOS: 0000

 

"Halios!!" Joel says

"You owe me a card Halios, I kicked your ass and now it's time to pay up with your god card!" Mr. Whiler says

"Back off! If you want the card, you go through me!" Joel says as he takes Anubis and puts it in his deck and shuffles it!

"Ready, Give me your best shot!" as the duel disk flies open

MR. WHILER: 10,000

"What's wrong you look surprised that my life points are 10,000 points" said Whiler

"No.... not really" Joel says

*Whiler's turn*

"I draw and I summon my Perfect Machine King by sacrificing 2 monsters from my hand!"

"I place a card face down and that's my turn!" Whiler said

 

*Joel's Move*

"Okay, I draw... I summon my Shuttle Man: Pig SKIN TO THE FIELD!"

I then activate my pot of greed spell card!! So I can pick Up 2 cards from my deck, I then activate my Fusion Comet Spell Card so I'm going to Fuse my Satellite with my Space Pod!!

TO CREATE SHUTTLE MAN: SPACE STATION!!

And I sacrifice my Elemental Hero Neos, then I'm going to fuse my Elemental Hero: Avian and Wildheart to form Evil Hero Wild Cyclone and then I'm taking away my Elemental Hero Woodsman so all together he gets a total defense of 5400! I slip down a face-down and that's my turn!

 

*Whilers Turn*

"I draw!" as he picks up a card "Hahahahahahahahaha! Do you know what losing feels like, I know because I'm sacrificing 3 monsters from my hand to summon my Egyptian God Thoth!

"Okay.... what are these cards for, do they complete a set??" Joel asked

"Haha! My master needs all 8 Egyptian gods plus the 3 ORIGINALS and THE 3 SACRED BEASTS!" Mr. Whiler said

"Why??" Joel asked

"It opens up a vortex, a vortex of LIFE!! A VORTEX OF DARKNESS AND PAIN, THE VORTEX OF SHADOWS" Mr. Whiler replied

"Why was it sealed up?" Joel asked

"The gods couldn't handle it my dear boy... anyway I place a card face down and end my turn, oh yeah I almost forgot all my card says is it's effect activates as soon as it's summoned, so I discard my hand and if I have more spells than monsters I gain 600 life points for every spell in my hand but if it's a monster you gain 600 life points for every monster! so lets see I have 2 monsters and 1 spell so you win!" Mr. Whiler says

"I get 1800 Life points!" Joel says

 

JOEL: 9800

WHILER: 10,000

"I place a card face down and that's my turn!"

"Fine, I dr.." Joel gets interrupted as a light shines on his deck as his Egyptian God goes out and flies away but something comes back "I draw" Joel says as he sees a card he's never seen before, I sacrifice 3 monsters from my hand to summon SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON!!

How do I use this card? as it came clear to him through Ultra Violet's advice, as Slifer's points go up to 3,000 attack, "I play pot of greed so I draw 2 more cards!" Joel picks up making it 4,000, " I now activate swords of revealing light which I played face-down!" as it comes up and swords surrounded him

 

Mr.whilers turn

"I draw and end my turn" Whiler said

 

*Joels Turn*

"I DRAW!" Joel says and makes Slifers ATK points equal to Thoths "I then activate Pig Skin's special ability so he gets to absorb Thoth's attack points so Pig Skin's Attack is now 5000!!, PIG SKIN ATTACK THOTH!!" Joel shouts as Pig Skin and Thoth both get destroyed, "Now SLIFER ATTACK!!" as Slifer attacks Whiler

"AHHH!" Whiler says

 

WHILER: 5,000 LIFE POINTS

JOEL: 9,800 LIFE POINTS

 

"Had enough" Joel says

"I'm just getting warmed Up"

 

*Whilers Turn*

"I draw and I activate my attacker spell card, so if I have a monster card in my hand it's attack points come out of your life points and I've got Horus! so you lose 5,000 life points!" Whiler says

JOEL: 4800 LIFE POINTS

WHILER: 5000 LIFE POINTS

"AHHH!" Joel screams as the damage is being done

"I'm done for if he finds a way to use that card again!"

"Oh yeah I can also summon the monster I attacked you with but it can't attack yet!" whiler says

 

*Joels Turn*

"I draw!" Joel says as Slifer's attack points move up to 6000 ATK, "Slifer wipe out his Horus!!" Joel shouts as Horus gets blown to bits.

 

Whiler: 4000

Joel:4800

 

"Now Pig Skin, ATTACK HIS LIFE POINTS DIRECTLY!!" Joel shouts as Pig Skin blows a chunk out of Whiler's points!

Whiler: 0000

Joel: 4800

"AHHHRGHHH!" Whiler shouts as he is blown to the ground!

"Game Over and now you owe me your 2 cards!" Joel says as Whiler gives them to him!

"All Right!"
