going for the monotone, eh? if you fix the lighting on the monster (?) he could look so much better, like deepen the shadows, and increase the reflection of the light on his head to bring the viewer down to his eyes, since his eyes are the only thing that's a different color. Also, his eyes should stand out, not stay monotone as the rest.

 

i think you still need to find the focal point.

 

there's something awkward going on his hand, like it's cut off or something. and the find better font, that one seems too classy for monotone. especially with the (~) sign (i know it's your username x0). or just take it off... but that's My Opinion ^^

Thanks Noahmeta, Ill Post an Updated Version soon. And i Kinda Had a Feeling the Text Mighthave Killed, But I wasnt For sure. And about his hand. Thats were the border of the Picture was. I Couldnt think of anything to do, that might have fixed it.

Different text would be better. Also, it seems kinda boring, nothing's going on. Maybe experiment eith the fuzzy and blend tools a little. For this I would say around the text fuzzy a little and use the Anurism effect on blend.

if it's cut off, then that means he shouldn't be on the right side. it's okay to be cut off by the border, but not randomly in the middle.

if ALL of his sides are cut off a little, then he shoudn't be a render. o_o unless you make a square sig or something

He's Not cut off on the Other side, and i didnt notice that, and It actually Looks Better With The Render Flipped.

I posted it, But now the Left side seems a bit Empty.

it does, but it loses the awesome hand xD

 

i was working on it (sorry ^^') and i learned how to deal with the cut off hand

 

if you smudge his hand to connect to his fingers (assuming ur using Photoshop), with a hardness of 100%, it won't look cut off, but would look very blurry. But, Then you burn (shadows, hardness 0%) the hand and it'll look like his hand is engulfed by the dark background. and won't look smudged at all. if you want, with your permission, i can post it here for reference.

Also, burn his face (midtones, hardness 0%) to bring out the eyes. and use the Dodge Tool (highlights, hardness 0%) on his eyes to brighten them :]

And finally, go to Filter -> Render -> Lightning Effects, and position where the light is coming from for reference on where the shadows are supposed to be. in the end you'll have an awesome well lighted figure.

Im actually Using gimp, I couldnt find Photoshop When i looked this morning. What am i supposed to search? "PS CS4 Portable"?

well, Photoshop ain't free but there's trials on their website, i think o_O

idk how to use Gimp, so i can't help you there, but i'm pretty sure it has most, if not all, the tools you need. Just experiment on it, and, most importantly, have fun :]

Your focal is too big, thus taking too much space.

A C4D is a poor BG choice

Lighting needs to have a "source" and the shadows and highlights of the focal and the rest of the tag should correspond.
