Same here, except I'm not sad even if a pet or family member dies. I got punished by my dad just because I wasn't sad when his mom died and called it a waste of time as well as when Haiti got smashed and a boy came up to me asking for a charity donation.

No Offense taken, When Tragedies happen, I look at it like watching a theater drama plot unfold. Funerals, Tragedies, Sudden Deaths; they just don't seem to affect me. As far as I can remember I've never gotten sad.

No Offense taken, When Tragedies happen, I look at it like watching a theater drama plot unfold. Funerals, Tragedies, Sudden Deaths; they just don't seem to affect me. As far as I can remember I've never gotten sad.

 

If you're never sad, you're missing out on an entire emotion. On top of that, you can't connect with sad people, you can't comfort them, because even though you experienced it, you never actually truly experienced it; you were just there. You are missing an entire line of connecting with about 99.9999% of the people.

There are some things that aren't worth getting depressed about. Death comes eventually so its not worth being sad about. Unlimited possibilities... The idea is hard to comprehend, seeing as how its hard to see something as being so adaptable and flexible that it could have more than 4 or 5 possible ends, but space seems to be just that, their could be many things at the end. I digress... don't worry about the unknown and let it get you sad, look at it as a new plateau.
