Ghost hunting

You know, I hate people who make that kind of assertion without presenting evidence to back it up.

Where's Dark Justice when you need him?

Probably the same place the cops go when you need them

Now' date=' referring back to SS, (and there is a reason for the initial, btw) get this, I once saw a cat. In my home. about a year before I ever got a cat. It was sitting at the top of the stairs, and ran down them. I got to the top of the stairs about 2 seconds later, and it was gone. When I checked the area at the bottom of the stairs, there was no cat anywhere. Not only that, but my radio turned [i']on[/i] several times. Never counted how many, I just know it happened quite a few times.

I once saw a ghost of a furry. He refused to move on because he wasn't finished spreading his fail around.

Lol, the hypocrisy here is hilarious.

Try giving me some ghost evidence that isn't a bunch of skittish teenagers or young adults screaming because they heard or felt something while they walk around an abandoned house with night-vision cameras. Someone saying something isn't real isn't the one that has to provide evidence, unless the subject in question can produce evidence of their own. They cannot.

Orbs are probably the most reasonable ghosts I've heard of, and even then whether they're actually ghosts is subjective.

...I've never hunted myself, but I do watch the show Ghost Hunters. I've seen unexplainable images of thermals, very crisp EVP's, and have you forgotten the first post I made here? Here's a hint: it's post number 4.

And, yes, if you're going to say something was staged, then explain how a radio without a timer can randomly turn itself on while everyone in the house isn't even in the same room. Or how an 8 year old can see a cat he doesn't have run down the stairs in his house, and then there not be a cat when he checks not 30 seconds later.

Oh boy, thermal images. That sounds almost as reliable as your shoddy story about ghost cats and broken radios you made when you were no doubt less than 10. I imagined a lot of crap when I was young, but I don't advocate the existence of enchanted fur coats with fox heads that drift across the hall in a ceremonial line as the sun rises despite how real the experience seemed at the time.

...oh my God. *sigh* I didn't make that radio, my mother bought it at Wal Mart. I've lived in a different house from that for the last four years, and that hasn't happened. Now, what was going on in your mind at the time, I have no idea. But, as for me, even at that time, the goings-on in my mind involved looking at naked girls. NOT ghost cats. Yeah, I've been a pervert all my life, get used to it. And, well, where do you live? It very well could have been real, and it very well could have been residual of a Native American ritual or something like that. I dunno.

"Ghost Hunters" is...meh...I personally believe it's staged. They pulled off a Santa episode around Christmas.

Ever seen "A Haunting"? They show true stories of real life experiences. It gets freaky. So freaky I quit watching it.

"Ghost Lab", however, is good. They go to actual places alleged to be haunted (Alcatraz), and they find actual evidence. The technology used on that show is actually pretty well known by everyone with basic technological knowledge. They use video cameras for surveillance footage, as well as EMF readers to find out if anything is nearby. They also use basic science *gasp* They use the Scientific Method, they have a control group, and they turn up with actual scientific evidence. They proved residual energy in certain places can affect people in strange ways as well.

Anyway, yeah. If you think ghosts aren't real, you got another thing coming. And it goes bump in the night.

*re-reads statement.* "And broken radios you made when you were no doubt *mumble mumble mumble* anyway...yeah, I've seen "A Haunting" and I've seen the vampire episode of "Lost Tapes."

So, yeah, I could understand if the radio had turned off. That's easily explainable by a loose plug in the outlet. But, a radio turning on? And it's playing the same song every time? Isn't that a little weird?

Now, the Ghost Hunters thing being staged? I've seen more outcomes of "There might be something here" than "This place is haunted." In fact, I've only seen two cases of them concluding the place is haunted, out of I've-lost-count-of-how-many episodes. And both full body apparitions I've seen ended up being "It's clear you have something here, but I can't really say it's haunted, but it's definitely a place we wanna revisit." And, yeah, they pulled off a Santa Episode around Christmas. Without going to the North Pole, around Christmas is the only time they could pull off that kind of episode. And, get this, it's possible they had worked on it some time before they aired it, but decided to air it around Christmas. Maybe I'll believe it's staged when they do a Cupid Episode around Valentine's day, and an Easter Bunny episode around Easter.

I've seen a couple episodes of "Ghost Lab", and well, if I remember correctly, its a group of kids trying to Rip off the TAPS team...They considered a chair evidence...Yeah, someone said it moved, but the TAPS team would have considered it a personal experience rather than evidence, since they didn't catch it on tape...

Anyway, if I was a die-hard Ghost believer, then I would consider the random vibrations of the loose doors in my cabinet as ghost activity. More likely, its just random vibrations from people walking...its still annoying, since it's bumping against the wood frame...oh, and the random thumping from the old stove in my old house, probably just the wind...that thing was ancient...

And, yeah, honestly, I'd rather Ghosts not exist. That says to me: I'm going into a hole in the ground, and it's over. End of story.

Ghosts existing says more like:

Fate: "Yeah, your body's dead, but you're hanging around a while"

Me: "...crap"
