Final Fantasy XVI (IGNORE RULE VII) [Started/Accepting]

"Two on one isn't fair, so I'l make it even." Ken'Tak jumped from his state of paralysis and pulled out his sword, yelling another war cry. The Zaad soilders were stunned a little so they didn't move, leaving them open for an attack. Ken'Tak saw the opening in thier defenses and lunged at one of the Zaad, stabbing it in the leg, making it scream and fall down in an imense state of pain. The other Zaad regained his senses as Ken'Tak crippled the other, so the other Zaad took action by jumping on Ken'Tak's back and stabbig himm continously, trying to find a weak spot. Ken'Tak was startled but quickly regained his senses. He ran backwards into a wall, crushing the Zaad on his back but not enough to cripple him. He jumped off the back of Ken'Tak, finding him a harder target then the Zaad sranding with the gunblade. HE charged at the Zaad with the gunblade, looking determined.

"im volux,but that isnt important right now" volux said "you soldier!,go ta hell!,you remember what happened to your boss?,it'll happen to you if you if you dont go",so the soldier ran quickly so volux stabbed his neck then the soldier died "well,lets all stop this war between the zaad and the koley,lets go to that mythril cave and kill that guy standing in it" he said

"volux,volux,volux,dont you understand,the one standing there is me and you cant kill me,im stronger than you all" the voice that volux heard earlier said

"shut up you voice!,that isnt you there!,anyone hear the voice that im hearing?" volux said

"Thanks Volux," Darent said. "Voice? What voice?" Darent listened hard, but couldnt heard over the Zaad screaming over his leg. Darent walked over to the Zaad and shot. He looked back to Volux, and saw he was looking into the cave. There was no one inside. "Are you okay?" Darent asked. "You seem a little craz--I mean.....stressed! Yea..stressed..."

 

"So.... I guess this is good-bye?" Darent told them. "Ima go--" Darent stopped frozen, as he realized something.

 

"This is the problem with Zaad. They can never tell who their enemies are." He said, pointing his Requiem towards one of the twenty Zaad soldiers running towards them.

"huh?,i must be imagining things theres no one in there,wait a minute!,im coming with ya,lets form two teams,team red and team blue,im in team red" volux said "you soldiers!,you dont wanna fight your own race yeah?"

"we will if a koley was on your side!" one of the soldiers said

"well,if you dont GO TA HELL ILL ASSASSINATE YOUR CHILDREN" volux said "now what team are you guys on?,the blue team or the red team?"

Woah, this guy is crazy, Darent thought to himself, but fun to be around! "Red"

 

Darent rushed for the nearest few soldiers and slashed at them while firing, causing them to be knocked back. He then held down the trigger and watches as a few soldiers fell down, dead, and faded away.

 

A couple of soldiers used some White Fangs, casting Thunder, but Darent jumped out of the way of the bolts. One soldier ran up and slashed Darent on the arm. "Guys, I could use some help!"

"here,take a potion!" volux said and gave darent a potion "you heard what i said!,now go ta hel!" he said to the soldiers,7 soldiers were afraid of volux so they ran away "now,why didnt you run away huh?" volux said to then he saw a gunblade lying on the ground,near the soldiers,so he quickly ran towards it replaced his old weapon with the gunblade "now we`re talkin!" volux said then shot 3 soldiers,then they were dead

"so,youre with the koley!?" one of the soldiers said

"no,im just tryin to save this world!" volux said

Cross soon jumped in and watched as the soldiers ran away, and he soon asked, "Why'd these soldiers run, they afraid of you or something?"

 

Cross soon saw everyone else and after he helped them back to their feet and soon decided to hang with them in his head and he soon followed them as he walked and sat down on a rock.

"yeah" volux said "im the most famous assassin in there city,i killed there prince,hes so stupid he hired 20 guards but i came from the rooftops and assassinated him" then he sprinted towards a soldier and slashed him then a soldier tried to slash volux but he missed, volux saw a crystal with low magic so he quickly grabbed it and returned to the others and used lightning on a soldier and quickly he threw the crystal to a soldier and the soldier turned to stone "piece of cake right guys?" volux said

"I really hate to take on with the unnecessary violence personally. But these soldiers are trying to kill you. So if you must kill them, I will accompany you doing so." Ken'Tak looked at the dead bodies of soldiers carefully. After going through some possessions, he found a weird chalice in one of the soldiers hands. It glistened slightly, so Ken'Tak took the item and put it in his pack. "An interesting find..." Ken'Tak looked up to see that he was falling behind the others, so he left eh bodies and caught up with Volux.

Darent wondered at Volux and how he handled the gunblade so easily, even though it takes years to master such a weapon. He mustve obviously used a lot of weaponry before. Doing what?

 

Suddenly a bullet just missed Darent's distracted head. He quickly went into battle position again. He rushed ahead of his friends and began slashing and shooting soldiers. (At the same time. Its a very effective fighting technique.) After many minutes of battle, the last soldier fades away. However, that soldier acted strange. It didnt seem to want to fight, though it did. When it died, it dropped a peice of paper.

 

"Whats this?" Darent questioned, as he picked it up. It was written in the Koley alphabet. Fortunately, Darent, coming from Koley society, can read it:

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO EMPRESS UALEIVESA:

 

OPERATION B.A.H.A.M.U.T. IS NOT A GO DUE TO BATTLE DAMAGE OF HQ IN OLIVAN CITY. RETREAT TROOPS IN CITY TO ALLOW FOR REPAIRS.

 

OPERATION A.N.I.M.A. IS A GO. SCOUT TROOPS SHALL BE SENT TO PURE AT ONCE.

 

"What the?!" Darent yelled, confused. "Can someone make sense of this?"

Cross couldn't make heads or tails of what the letter said but Cross pondered on it and he said, "It must be important, and bad if it is for the empress, we should hide somewhere, now that they know where we are, it isn't good to stay in one place for too long."

 

Cross then said, "The paper, is saying something about an operation, and a project B.A.H.A.M.U.T, I hope it isn't bad."

"No, I can understand the Koley alphabet. What I don't understand is this: It sounds like the Zaad army is telling the Koley army to back off...as if they were working together. It makes no sense." Darent said. He looked at the words B.A.H.A.M.U.T. and A.N.I.M.A. "We need to find out what these operations are. I say we go with his idea and leave before more troops come."

 

Darent scoped out the mountainous terrain really quick, and saw a town not too far off. From there he could see the large physique of Koley citizens. "We'll head for that town. But when we get there, Volux and...whatever your name is... should wait a good few meters away from the border, just in case." Darent puts his gunblade away, then looks at Volux's. "That Revolver is super weak." Darent looks to a sword on the floor next to where a Zaad faded away. He picked it up and handed it to Volux. "Here, this Greatsword will do you a lot more good" Darent then headed off in the direction of the city.

Cross soon said, "I can put on a cloak to cover my face, I don't think I want them to know my face, plus, I'm overcautious because being chased is not fun, and we can't risk being with each other because of this stupid war. Just hope that it could end soon."

 

Cross soon took a sabre from one of the fallen Zaad soldiers and took off their armor, before putting it on himself as cover.

Luicien was sitting on a cliff looking out to the huge sea in front of him. "Such beauty..." He smiled warmly looking at it. "I love it." HE layed back sighing as he felt the cool breeze flow against him. "Ah.. that feels good." He closed his eyes thinking to himself as he looked up at the stary sky. "It's simply a beautiful night." He smiled thinking to himself. "I love it."

Zaraii stalked the young prince who was disguised as a normal kid. The prince seemed to be about 13 and it was obvious he snuck out. Zaraii sniffed. "Gold", he whispered. He knew the scent. He stalked the boy in the shadows and was careful not to make a sound. He pulled out a small knife from his pocket and aimed at the young boy's neck silently. He then threw the knife and smiled in the abyss and it went straight through his throat. He then ran over to the body and searched it, then took everything that was on it. He smiled, then ran off, looking for another unlucky wealthy person.

"Actually, I can reason with them." Ken'Tak did not pull out his sword and looked into some bushes to their right, there a Koley scout was sitting. "Hello, brother." The scout clombed out oof the bushes, but his weapon was still drawn. "What are you doing here, and especially with those Zaad?" Ken'Tak lowered the scouts weapon. "Relax, we are here not to cause any harm. We are only travelers. I saved their lives, so now they owe a great debt to me. I am just looking for crystals." The scout put away his weapon. "Fine then. Continue."

Darent was impressed at how Ken'Tak decieved the scout troops. After they left, Darent walked up to his new friend. "Nice job. You're a good liar. Now," Darent said as he turned to the others, "Volux, although I do wana go find crystal cavern, we should go to that town. Just to rest and get more items." Darent sheathed his Requiem. "We shouldnt stay long. You and Cross wont be so welcome there." Darent started off in the direction of the town.

"Thank you for for the compliment." Ken'Tak smiled, that compliment being the first in awhile. Traveling to end the war was usually a very lonely job, especially if you were from a war-loving race who thought violence was the answer and an even better solution. Ken'Tak followed Darent, returning from his reality. "We are going to a Koley town, so let me do most of the talking. They'll agree to me more likely then agreeing to a Zaad. Ken'Tak continued to follow Darent.

"wait a minute!, i will be welcomed there in an assassin way, ill assassinate most of the koley guards, then that town will be mine and everyone will know me as Volux, lord of the assassins, and ken`tak what team are you on?, red or blue" volux said and put his dagger into its sheath "lets just keep walking" so they walked but then ten ghouls appeared "what the? " volux said "ghouls in pure, ghouls in every where, lets fight! " he pulled his sword out of its sheath.

Ken'Tak pulled out his weapon pointing it towards the ghouls. "I know they are mindless, so there is no way I can convince them. So we fight." Ken'Tak let out his usually battle cry, stunning the ghouls for a second in fear. Now it was the perfect time for Ken'Tak to make a strike at one of the ghouls, so he lunged forward, taking one out with his blade. He immediately swung behind him and turned, to see another ghoul try to attack him. His plan did not work out. As Ken'Tak had killed the other ghoul, another form the side jumped him, clawing at him furiously.

Darent unsheathed his gunblade and shot at the ghoul attacking Ken'Tak. "Ugh, we can't even get one minute without an attack. Geez" Darent said, as he rushed for the other ghouls. He never liked ghouls, so his furious attacks made most of them fade away instantly. When finally all of the ghouls were gone, Darent turned to Volux, worried that he might be a little too...well...

 

"Volux, not everyone wants to fight in the war. Who knows, the town may be neutral. Then you'd doom us all to endless war 'til one side...well...died...."

Ken'Tak nodded with a agreeing look on his face. From the start, Ken'Tak didn't like Volux very much, even from the beginning. He seemed like the one to start fights instead of talking things out most of the time, which was something that Ken'Tak personally didn't like to do. "You should listen to Darent, Volux," Ken'Tak scoffed. "You might learn a couple things about finding peaceful solutions instead of slashing everything you see."
