Welcome to YCM. Enjoy your stay. First one's on the house.

I get the idea, and what a great card for a new member.

I noticed several OCG (Offical Card Grammar) Errors, as well as that the card is pretty OP'ed (overpowered).

None-The-Less

8.5/10. Good work (:

Is a bit OP'ed. It's also "Life Points," but should probably say "Your opponent takes damage equal to the ATK of the slected monster." or something like that.

For balancing, maybe make the selected monster one of your own?

I like it. 7/10

And welcome. Good luck with your card making ventures.

It's a great effect, but it is quite overpowered ^_^ I love the picture and there could be some corrections in OCG but I won't fret over those. 7/10

The only similar cards I could compare this too (off the top of my head) are Judgment of Anubis and Misfortune.

JoA is a trap card that requires a specific condition to activate, you have to discard a card, and it only deals damage equal to the attack after destroying a monster.

Misfortune is a spell card that only inflicts damage equal to half the attack of the selected monster, and it doesn't destroy anything (your card causes LP loss, so effects that trigger on infliction OR damage are bypassed).

IMO it's good to compare your cards with existing cards when you're figuring out how to make realistically balanced effects.

correct ocg : "Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Your opponent takes damage equal to the selected monsters ATK or DEF, your choice. After this destroy the selected monster." ithink so anyway, dnt almost ever use "side of the field" use "control", good for a new meber espcialy and a spell cad asur firs post kool, like the pic but yea Opd severly, mybe say " your opponentt takes damage equal to the selected monsters ATK or DEF, your choice.by pying the sam aount of Life Points as your opponen did, destroy the selected monster" adding alittle drwback makes a big difference in itsbalance. Overall good job

ya i no mayeb u shud lrn 2 spel bcuz ther is no wai hes going 2 red ur wurds. >_>

omgocg: Select 1 monster your opponent controls. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the selected monster's ATK or DEF. After this effect has been activated successfully, destroy the selected monster.

It's pretty OP'd. Personally, I would add a drawback (discarding cards, destroying one of your own monsters, skipping your Battle Phase, etc.), because this is basically a "Ring of Destruction" with no drawbacks right now. =/

Ring of Destruction is Banned.

[align=center]Second card. This time a fusion card. Dang text too small to read... I'll copypaste it below this card for you all to see.

>>LOUNGE LIZARD<<

"Spirit Ryu" + "Element Dragon"

Discard 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 1000 points until the End Step. This monster gets the following effect(s) while there is a monster(s) with the following Attribute(s) on the field:

* FIRE: Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points, decrease the DEF of this card by 1000 points.

* WIND: If this card destroyed your opponent's monster as a result of battle, decrease the ATK of this card by 1000 points. It can attack once again in a row.

Meh, it's basically a Spirit Ryu on steroids. Or an Element Dragon on the juice. But tell me what you think. Any OCG, too OP? I think it's a bit OP, but it's countered by its own ability; when it attacks again, its ATK is lowered by 1000 (attribute). So from something let's say, 3000 ATK, 3000 DEF, it could end up being 2000 and perhaps there's another monster on the field. Otherwise, the sudden 5000 Life Point drain seems pretty overpowered to me :(
