[align=center]I've challenged Mahandra with Conditions 11 of his Challenge Thread. They are:

- Psychic-Type

- Level 5

First to 5 Votes wins. All votes must have good reasons. (3 reps for Winner, 1 rep for Loser)

Enjoy.

Effect: 1 Psychic-Type Tuner + 2 or more Psychic-Type non-Tuner monsters

This card cannot be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck except by Synchro Summon. If you do not control another Psychic-Type monster, destroy this card. When this card is Synchro Summoned, equip it to a monster your opponent controls. The equipped monster can only be removed from the field by card effects. (Damage calculation is applied normaly.) While this card is equipped to a monster, during each of that monster's controller's End Phases, gain Life Points equal to the equipped monster's Level x 200. When the equipped monster is removed from the field, Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Special Summoned by its own effect, you can pay 1000 Life Points to return it to your Extra Deck.

Effect: Special Summon this card from your hand by sending 1 Level 4 or lower Special Summoned monster on the field to its owner's Graveyard. If it is your opponent's monster, pay 700 Points and discard 1 card. During the end of your Battle Phase and there are no other cards on the same column as this card, destroy this card. When this card attacks face-down Defense Position monster and this card is the only monster you control, you can change the attack to direct attack by paying 500 Points. If you do, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved.

Mahandra because max's card has this in it's effect.

"This card cannot be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck except by Synchro Summon."

but also this

"When the equipped monster is removed from the field, Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position."

you contradict yourself with thesse two effects making the second effect null because of the first one.

I don't. Last time I checked, your Spell and Trap Card Zones don't count as the Extra Deck.

You can only Special Summon it from the Extra Deck by Synchro Summon. However, Special Summoning it from the Graveyard and RFP Zone can be done by "Call of the Haunted" etc.

While both the cards are well made, I'll have to go with Max's card. The picture is much nicer, the idea is better excuted, and it seems just as, if not a little more, balanced then Mahandra's card. Manhandra's card can be summoned using the opponents monsters, even with the drawback it's still a little bit annoying, and then, if you attack a face-down Defense monster, you get a direct attack.
