You crumble under "friend's" pressure and you try to know the girl more (the girl finds out and she avoids you)4. You go for the wrong girl (my stupidest decision)5. Another guy comes in and asks her out6. She says yes I still regret that decision to this day. For me, it wasn't the SHTF Factor, it was SHTF cubed.
