Bushi of the Blades (Single)

So, I've had this idea to make Equips a bit less awful, I've been trying to do it for a while, and hopefully this got it right.

|Warrior/Wind|Level 1|300 ATK/0 DEF|

|During your Standby Phase, you can remove 1 Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can remove 2 Equip Spell Cards in your Graveyard from play to increase this card's level by 2, and it is treated as a tuner until the End Phase.|

 

 

Equip Decks now have a wall, tribute fodder and a quick way to synch the equip-based Level 7s all while keeping advantage.

I wouldn't call a 300 ATK, 0 DEF monster that can be destroyed by battle a wall. I personally haven't played Equip decks, but I assume they'll have enough equips in the grave to use this card's effect.

 

They're a bit less awful, but there's still a lot that can be done.

Sorry, 'wall' is a bad word. 'Block an attack if you really have nothing else', I guess.

Thats some good support. Its ironic as I just tried some gemini-equip based cards recently. But you'll need a way of getting your eqiups from the Graveyard.

You mean getting them to your Graveyard? LS, along with the simple leaving the field thing cards do, it plenty enough =/

I meant from RFP. Lol, but i would prefer a drawing style, then using them, with the gemini's, you can destroy the equips with thier effects and activate bushi of the blades.

You'll need a ton of equips to make this thing manageable.

 

The most utility out of it for 1 doable Synchro Summon needs 3 Equip Spells in the Graveyard. I don't know that many Equip Spell Decks that are just loaded with Equip Spells out the ying-yang ready to feed this guy.

 

1 equip spell to tunerize him seems fine. There's no super deadly combos he can initiate outside of bringing in the uber deadly Power Tool Dragon or something. Nothing criminal about this card that forces you to have to shut out all those Equip Spells just to pull a monster out.

 

Maybe it's from my Equip Spell perspective since my Equip Deck of choice was Ben Kei, and I only played like 6 or 7 equips. Oh well. It's nice, though, the utility of having SOMETHING that can make Power Tool Dragon nicer to bring out.
