*sigh* You people still don't grasp the concept. Let's just say the cat has a re-breather. Now' date=' it has unlimited oxygen. Then, let's say it has a food supply and water. It would still be both alive AND dead, unless you could see it.

I understand, but his theory is flawed, you cannot presume something is alive and dead, it is presumed one or the other until one can be proven.

Then, it's a false presumption. You can't just assume what you don't know. If I assume it will rain tomorrow in the Sahara, doesn't mean it's true. Until you know, it can be doing everything and nothing at the same time.

ok just shake the box really fast if it doesn't sound like it will maul you the cat is dead' date=' if it does don't open the box, yet.

Still, you people don't understand the point of this. -.- And some people just go through the hot topics posting whatever comes to their mind.

Exactly, saying something is both alive and dead is a ridiculous and contrary presumption. It only has the possibility to be either of the two, which is completely obvious and something you're missing.

But if you have no idea if it is either one, it is both. That is what possibility of the unknown is. I could be drinking a soda, or not drinking a soda. I could be a male, or a female. Unless you could see me, then you wouldn't know. By the way, I'm a male who isn't drinking a soda.

You have yet to prove why it IS both instead of POSSIBLY being either, and I'm doubting you will.
