Well, I was crowned King of Realistic on YCM not that long ago, and decided I would show the start of possibly my newest favourite set - the Ancient Crystals.

 

They focus on being Special Summoned just in time to defend yourself, and can completely stop a Phase from happening on your turn. There are no Synchros or Tuners to come in this Set - I've had enough of making those anyway.

 

All of the Ancient Crystals have 0 ATK, and 1600+ DEF.

Very interesting images as well as effect. Seems somewhat original too.

Pic is overused abit but fits this card well.

 

Hard to say king of realistic in my opinion.

Multiple people have been crowned that including me, pitski, and demented. I think zeaux as well. Effect is somewhat boring and with the rest of the monsters to come it could be very abusable, and the Battle Phase effect is wrong.

I am only being tough because to truly become king of realistic you have to not make carless errors and make EVERY CARD COUNT

....(notice how I spelled careless wrong lol)

 

OCG correction:

First of all you said:

"remove from play card" which should be "remove from play 1 card"=careless

 

Second...and this is a rookie error

"Your opponent cannot enter their Battle Phase until their next Standby Phase???"

 

This is wrong for two main reasons. First What if one of your cards in this set makes your opponent skip their standby phase so they cannot activate cards like order of the thunder ruler

then they cannot even attack as well=WAY OPED

 

just word it like this......

"Your opponent must skip their next Battle Phase"

but glad to hekp where I can. Keep trying and Im looking forward to seeing the set. Could be very interesting.
