There's so many cards that allow you to Special Summon Spellcaster-Type monsters. You can use those or this card's own effect to Special Summon it to trigger it's effect (in a strictly Spellcaster Deck). There may be OCG errors, haven't made a card in a while.

 

 

This card is also treated as a Spellcaster-Type while in your hand, Deck and Graveyard. If the only Type of monsters in your Graveyard are Spellcaster-Type, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned, it can attack your opponent directly the turn it is Summoned. During your Draw Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster to add this card to your hand instead of drawing.

Looks clean to me, except I think the last part of the effect needs to be more specific...it never specifically says where you're adding it from. Assuming it's in the Graveyard...

 

"During your Draw Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster to add this card to your hand instead of drawing."

 

I referenced "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" for the wording if you want to double-check.

 

All that said, I like this card a LOT. 8/10
