Need a decent deck for tourney. rep for idea.

I need a tourney legal deck. all mine run monster reborn, sangan, etc. So, I want a deck that combines new and old school cards, maybe can fit Horus LV 8, LV modulation, Demise, and The Masked Beast, and maybe a fusion/synchro or two. I have few new cards, maybe 100 or so, and over 1000 or more old cards.

It's hardly a flawless list, I just made it on the spot, but it saves you buying Synchros, is pretty effective and has a lot of things you can change around depending on what you're facing, or just don't like running.

Cyber Dragons? I don't know what you consider old school or new school, but Zwei is definetely newer. Honest, maybe. It all depends on your definition of new or old. All the cards you mentioned require their own separate decks to really work. But go ahead and try this out:

thanks for the ideas. and to answer the question of what is old school and what is new school, old school is from 2002 series 1 until GX series 2. so, Legends of the Blue eyes til Force of The Breaker. Anything in 5D's is new and i have about... 100 or so 5D's and nearly 3000+ older cards. From he lists mentionec I have maybe 9 or 10... 3 or 4 in double or triple.

That is my specialty, old school cards. Well for 1, here's an idea. Add some giant germ cards and some nimble momonga. Your opponent destroys one and they have one monster you have 2 monsters ready to tribute for a level 7 or higher monster. Here's a much loved legal old school side deck for you.

Simochi, 3 eye of truth, run 3 rains of mercy, run 3 gift cards, run 3 burning algae, 2 upstart goblin (if allowed). Altogether it deals 20,000 life points when used altogether with additional 1000 each time your opponent draws a spell if you have eye of truth on the field

=Ojunkas, Basically spam a lot of Junk Synchrons. It is amazingly good fun to play with and relatively competitive, but I would hardly see it topping a local.
