juice`
I understand that some don't know what options are available, but,it seems, they don't bother to look for solutions. Instead, they bark and complain about it, and that's just irritating. To save myself and everyone else a little headache, I'm going to post some solutions. I understand that some prefer other browsers, but Firefox really is the best for an ad-free browsing experience. The reason is this: AdBlock Plus It'll block just about anything, and you can choose to block images or flash items that offend you. There is one other reason as well: NoScript This blocks JavaScript, and only allows JavaScript from sites you trust to load. This functions as a superb pop-up blocker and prevents unnecessary crap to slow down your page loads. If you really don't like Firefox, SeaMonkey will work just as well with these peripherals. Enjoy your cleaner browsing experience!

juice`
I will complain about Youtube ads as much as I want thank you very much. You'd rather complain about your problem at others' expense rather than fix your problem at your benefit? That's certainly a strange way to behave. Aximil
Firefox is a virus magnet. Every computer I have ever seen with it crashes within 24 hours of using the internet through it. Even the school computers.

Brushfire
So if Firefox is so "virus-prone" then why is it used by the vast majority of coders and developers? Because it's not. It's up to the person using it not to download potentially harmful software and files, it's you're own fault, not the browsers. And then not having virus-protection software just in case? That would make the user an idiot.

Dark
I've only had a total of seven viruses through Internet Explorer (most because proxy sites aren't very nice), and most were easy to get rid of. And I use some McAfee ad-blocking stuff, so I don't really care.
