WithTheWind
Reps, definetely. They can be proof if you're a noob or not, and points don't do much. Sure, you can get shop items with points, but nowadays, most items are 1 point or free. Reps ftw!

People give out reps for the dumbest things nowadays. A guy with 200 positive reps can be the biggest idiot on the forums.

seattleite
Reps. People have 50K points for no reason at all. I guess points may be easier to earn, but you can at least use points in shops, hosting contests, etc. ~Devil's advocate

PenguinZ
Reps. They tell whether a member is good/popular/funny/good at card making/nice/or just plain awesome.
Yang Xiao-Long
I prefer reps.Positive reps give me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. lol jkI like positive reps cuz they mean I did something good. Dark
Both are equally as invaluable. A guy with 200 positive reps can be the biggest idiot on the forums. I can think of a few examples of that... :3 NO, NOT ME!

Clair
Reps. They tell whether a member is good/popular/funny/good at card making/nice/or just plain awesome. They make it seem like a member is good/popular/funny/good at card making/nice/or just plain awesome. A large rep count doesn't necessarily mean the person is any of those things. BECAUSE IT'S TOTALLY THE AMOUNT OF STARS A MEMBER HAS THAT MATTERS, RIGHT?! OT: Both are useless and stupid.

Yankee
Points where originally made as a form of currency for YCM. Sadly, that plan failed miserably. Reps do matter. They have lost a lot of value due to rep spamming, and stupid reasons for +reps, however. Back in 07, early 08, all +reps actually meant something... Yankee
Question to everybody: If all your points just disappeared one day, would you truly care? No, you wouldn't. If somebody gives you a neg rep, or spam rep, you'll complain about it. So now, tell me which is more important to you.
