Plot:

10000 years ago, a great battle took place between the armies of the physical world, and the powers of chaos. The battle shook the very foundations of creation, and eventually the physical world prevailed. Thus, the great lord of chaos was stripped of his soul, split into three parts, and sealed away by the physical world's great elemental dragon. The lord of chaos's three lieutenants fled and built up strength so that they may one day free their master.

Now in the present day, these three lieutenants, known as the Wicked gods, have returned and have taken control of humans in order to search for the missing pieces of their master. To help accomplish this goal they have formed a group of followers known as the Ordo Everto. They steal souls through shadow duels, and plan to use these captured souls to revive the three pieces of the chaos lord. Members of the Ordo Everto dress in black robes and make use of Dark Synchro Monsters. The seven high ranking members of the Ordo Everto, called Sins, are named after the seven deadly sins and make use of an earthbound immortal. Lastly, the three humans controlled by the wicked gods, the Heralds, use their respective wicked god cards: Wicked Eraser, Wicked Dreadroot, or Wicked Avatar.

The great Elemental dragon of 10000 years ago, Omnis-Metatron, is long dead, but his spirit lives on in six individuals known as the Element Six. These people have an unnatural command of monsters of their elemental attribute, be it wind, water, fire, earth, light, or dark. Each member has the kanji symbol of their element on the back of their right hand, and commands an elemental beast: an actual living monster that is represented by a card in their deck and shares their elemental mark. The elemental beast's life is linked with the human: if one dies so does the other. These six have a shared destiny to battle the wicked gods and prevent their master from being summoned.

Now, a Duel Monsters World tournament is being held, and seizing the opportunity, members of the Ordo Everto have entered and have begun stealing souls. Fate has also dictated that the Element six be in the tournament as well, but whom these individuals are has yet to be revealed...

 

World:

The world is very similar to the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Turbo and traditional ground dueling are both very popular but there are other types of dueling as well that are less known. Also, live monsters exist and many roam freely throughout the world. However, they are rare. Sector security also exists, but instead of being controlled by yiliaster, they are run by the sentient iron core of Koa'ki Meiru. The core knows of the element six and is attempting to bring them out through the tournament. It can also transplant itself into different monster bodies for use outside its control room.

The tournament has just started, the first round has just started featuring a duel between our Gluttony Sin, Seth Rivers and a random person for the sake of buffering time. In the Ordo Everto, Jane Numire and Kane Scailand have been officially outted as 2 of the Element Six. However, Jane and Kane are the only two of the Element Six that have discovered their symbols. Kane has already survived a shadow duel, due to his mark saving him for some odd reason. This is when it was revealed. Kane survived shadow dueling with Madeline, the Lust Sin. However, Madeline was able to swipe Stardust Dragon, Kane's ace card, before the duel. This has led Jane to feel bad for him, and so she had her Card Creator father make him a special card. This caused a spark of flirtation between the two and they are on the virge of a relationship.

 

In other news, Elliot has just been wormed into the tournament by Dan, the Pride sin, as he wants more subjects to feed off of.

 

Nick, the envy sin is currently in disguise as Zack Kynto, an innocent man who has befriended Jane, in a convoluded plot to get answers about the Element Six from Jane as she learns them, go back to the Ordo Everto and share all of them, then defeat Jane and steal her soul in a Shadow Duel.

 

Nick also currently covets Madeline, and is trying desperately to make Madeline notice him, as she is a possible love interest for him.

 

 

 

OOC: And now the opening post!

"Now, Giga Plant, attack his Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6!" the duelist enthusiastically yelled as the large plant opened its massive jaws and leaned in to devour the Horus. As it was about to clamp down on the silver, bird-like dragon, a hologram of a trap card appeared on the opposite side of the field. The purple haired duelist who had activated the card smirked, then said, "I activate my trap card: Urgent Tuning! I tune my Horus LV6 with my Magna Drago to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon!" With that command, the whire dragon that had been patiently waiting on the sidelines took off and proceeded to land on the correct field spot. With a mighty roar, it it stopped the Giga plant's bite, and fired a blast of wind and sparkling energy into the beast's gaping maw, destroying it. "I win the game." said the Purple haired duelist, who proceeded to give his dragon a pat on the back."And there you have it folks, our dragon duelist has advanced to the preliminary finals!" an announcer yelled as the players shook hands and left the field.

"Nice one, Astrum. Good show today." said the duelist, looking up at the Stardust Dragon.

"Same to you, Kane, but you had me a bit worried there for a second."

" You shouldn't be, I have it under control, you know that."

"I think you're a bit too reckless in your playing strategy, that could cost you,"

"Well, then help me re-vamp the deck to be more defensive tonight."

"Will do, but first, lets eat."

"Agreed, bud." The pair then proceeded to the duelist's cafeteria, where the other winners of the day's games were busy eating their meals.

Madeline picked at her food, her mind far from the plate before her. To say that she was daydreaming would have been false, for her violet eyes were definitely alert, yet her long silver hair occasionally dangled dangerously close to the slightly runny gravy seeping from the mound of steaming mashed potatoes. On her arm she wore a Duel Disk, much like everyone else, with the main difference being which arm the disk was on.

 

She turned her fork lazily, biting her lip softly. Her duel that day had been uninteresting to say the least, just another guy thinking that a woman was easy prey. Well, she showed him, didn't she? She smirked to herself, entertaining the memory of her field of monsters knocking the guy backwards and dropping his LP to 0.

 

The young woman was dressed in a casual top and skirt, but she wasn't fond of the outfit. It was too constricting than her preferred outfit and the colors weren't anywhere near as suggestive or alluring as she preferred. Silly males. Dangle a little leg before them and they stop looking at their cards entirely. The fact she was left handed also threw quite a number of them for a loop.

 

Madeline laughed softly to herself, her food forgotten. She pushed the plate away and rose to her feet. What she wanted was to do something exciting.

Elliot was at a nearby stadium, watching a tournament unfold. Elliot dreamed of one day competing in tournaments like these, but Elliot was happy watching for now. The most recent duel was over, with someone named Kane Scalind winning. Elliot enjoyed the duel as his face showed excitement. "Hehe, man that was awesome! I can't wait till the next duel begins!" Elliot exclaimed. "I hope one day I can duel on that field, yeah, one day....." Elliot stated to himself as he looked at his duel disk.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Dan was casually enjoying his food at the cafeteria for winners of the tournament rounds. He had just finished watching the most recent duel. He looked over and saw the winner of the duel, Kane, he also noticed Madeline was here as well. He gave an eerie smirk as he turned and face his deck. "So Madeline is here as well huh? I hope she does something, interesting...." Dan stated to himself as a dark aura began to form around his deck.

[BANZAI!!!!]

"No carrots please." Kane said to the woman behind the counter. He sat down at the table on the left of where Madeline was sitting, although he was paying more attention to the virtual mountain of carrots on his tray than to the person sitting/standing next to him. Astrum was also paying attention more to his food than to his surroundings, because he was devouring a Deepsea shark that the kitchen had provided for him. Kane, not really interested in eating food he didn't like, took his deck out of his Blue and white duel disk and proceeded organizing it into monster, spell, and trap piles. Once this task was finished, he began making alterations to the layout of the deck, putting useful combos together on the table, and swapping out a card here or there. "God... how does Astrum find this easy?" he said to himself, but it was loud enough to be audible to everyone else at the table. " I would find it sooooooooo much more enjoyable if i didn't have all of this pressure on me."

Madeline paused for a moment after rising, her sharp gaze flicking to the young man now sitting at the adjacent table, with a tray heavily ladden with carrots. Doesn't he wish he ate carrots more often? she mocked internally. From her angle, she could almost perfectly see every card the young man had on the table. A benefit that, while she didn't get it from consuming massive quantities of carrots, could prove to be invaluable knowledge. She hovered nearby, her left hand twitching.

 

The boy seemed to be altering his deck, likely in preparation for upcoming duels, and also likely because his deck wasn't ready the way it was. A brief shiver flicked up her spine, moreso when she caught an odd name. Astrum? she repeated internally. Hm...that could be the Stardust Dragon monster...his servant or whatever he considered it. Friend? What a joke if he did.

 

Madeline shifted her angle subtly, scanning his table for a particular white-bordered card. He probably treasured that Synchro monster. It would be gravely unfortunate for his chances if she managed to swipe it without him noticing. That could be great excitement for her.

 

"Hello," she said casually to him, plopping down on the chair across from him without invitation. She lifted her bare leg just above the table and pretended to tie her shoe, out of sight from his gaze. "You just finished your duel, right? You did good," she told him with a friendly smile.

[BANZAI!!!!]

"Ummmmmmmm... thanks." Kane said awkwardly, having been taken slightly off guard by the girl's upfront introduction. "I'm guessing you won your match as well, seeing as you're still here am I right?" As he spoke, Kane continued organizing his deck, and took a bit of carrots, which he forced down his throat despite the awful taste in his mouth. "Ughhh. I hate these things." He stated, indicating the carrots.

 

Nearby, Tyson Veldt sat eating alone, watching the conversation between Madeline and Kane unfold. "Hook, line, and sinker." he thought as he watched them talk. "Chalk another victim up for good ole' Madeline Bridle." He muttered under his breath, bemused.

Dan continued to eat his food while the aura surrounding his deck disappeared. He glanced over and saw Madeline making her move. "Hehe......" Dan then glanced over and saw Tyson sitting quietly alone watching the events unfold. Dan returned to his normal position as he used his peripheral vision to watch Madeline work her magic. "(Hehe, so what will happen next I wonder? This is just too fun.....)" Dan thought to himself. "(That dragon of his is sure annoying me, that stupid shine..... It's really irritating from this perspective, lucky Tyson......)" Dan thought to himself as he continued to watch the scene unfold.

"Yeah, I didn't have much of a challenge," Madeline said, heaving a dramatic sigh, as if she had expected a far superior opponent than she had gotten. "Hopefully once the weaker players get weeded out, there'll be better competition," she said, lowering her leg and sitting properly. Even so, she casually flicked some of her silver hair away from her face and fixed Kane with a disarming smile and an almost flirty glint in her eyes.

 

"You hate carrots?" she asked with a laugh. "Then why'd you get so many?" Fool, neglecting carrots makes for poor eyesight and you won't even see your card disappear. And an attractive female chatting with you should keep your eyes off your cards, she thought. Her eyes rapidly flicked from card to card on the table and back at his face every few seconds. Where is it? Where does he keep his Synchro cards? she thought to herself, maintaining the casual dance of conversation flowing.

 

"Organizing your deck?" she continued, taking a moment to stretch her arms, using that time to cast another scanning glance at the table. "Always a good idea, keeps you prepared for your matches, I bet. What's your favorite card?" she asked abruptly, internally smiling like a snake ready to strike.

Elliot was in the restroom washing his hands after eating some sticky caramel popcorn. "Alright, gotta make sure it's all clean or else, well, I wouldn't want my cards to get sticky." Elliot stated to himself. After awhile of scrubbing and drying, Elliot exited the restroom and noticed the door to the Dueler's Cafeteria was not guarded by anyone. Elliot's face became nervous as he was curious about going in there. "Aw man what should I do now? The next duel hasn't started and no one's watching the door. Just a little peek and then I'll go." Elliot stated to himself as he sneaked into the cafeteria where he sat down at a nearby table observing duelists readying their decks. Dan gave an eerie grin as he saw Madeline make her next move. "(Going in for the kill huh?)" Dan then noticed a tiny sensation of energy nearby which was Elliot. "(Huh? That's strange...... Oh well, no matter....)" Dan thought as he looked back.

"Yeah, they let a whole bunch of unskilled guys in here. It must be because most of 'em are local." he said while laying out another complicated card combo. This time, however, it involved his extra deck, and he placed his Stardust Dragon card in the center: the linchpin of his deck"s strategy. "As for my favorite card, I'd have to say it's my Stardust Dragon." Kane picked the card up and put it down outside the layed out combo. " Astrum and I have been through a lot together, so I guess its natural that I like his card best" he said grinning. "By the way my name's Kane Scalind. Whats yours?" While the conversation was taking place, Astrum had begun watching the two from afar. Although he was suspicious of this upfront woman, he gave no indication of being so. Although he was on guard, he looked decidedly cheerful.

 

Tyson looked over to Dan, and nodded in approval to the amusing turn of events. Something about this kid was strange. Even Uru, who's voice would normally not emmanate into his head from the card, felt this "oddity" and informed Tyson as such. This prey would be fun to watch, and he knew how entertaining watching the "Sport" of taking souls was.

"All the better to maintain escalating competition, I guess. I'd hate to lose from a bad match-up in the starting match," Madeline said. Her violet eyes lit up upon seeing the white bordered card, depicting the famous dragon. At the same time, she quickly scanned the other cards in the presumed combo. Just as she had initially suspected, the dragon seemed to be this guy's clincher card and without it...well, who knew how he'd fare after that? She struggled to keep her hand from shaking. This was just too much fun. The naive, yet maturing ones were always the easiest prey for her charms.

 

"Stardust Dragon?" Madeline repeated, respectfully touching the card and turning it towards herself, as if interested in the card text, while maintaining her innocent charade. Would he sense her intentions before it was too late? She was willing to bet that he would not. "Wow, real nice card," she told him, reluctantly lifting her hand away from the card, but only an inch or so.

 

"Oh, how silly of me," she said with an innocent laugh. She extended her right hand, the arm with her Duel Disk in the offer of a handshake. "I'm Fiona. Fiona Omin," she lied convincingly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Kane." A greater pleasure to rob you blind. "You mentioned someone named Astrum? Who's that?" she asked. If her suspicion was right about the dragon itself being the 'Astrum' in question, she would have her chance in mere moments. But if she was wrong, and it was a friend of his that had given him the card as a mark of friendship, she'd have to go to plan B.

[BANZAI!!!!]

"Astrum? He's that dragon over there." said Kane, making a motion with his head in Astrum's general direction. "We've been traveling together since we were young, and he's almost like my brother." He shook her hand. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Fiona." Kane began to flip through a book of cards, looking for a card he wanted to add to his deck. Astrum was growing visibly concerned now, and he had even stopped eating his meal, choosing instead to focus his sharp eyes on the table where the two were sitting. "I don't like her kane" he thought. "She's a little TOO friendly". with that, the white dragon sat up, and gave the woman a menacing glare. Kane found his card and began sifting through his deck for the card he wanted to replace, but had trouble finding it.

'Fiona' smiled. "Oh, that's so cool!" she practically gushed. After all, how many people managed to befriend a real monster, much less have a card of it in their deck? HAD a card of it in their deck. In the short time that Kane had averted his attention, Madeline had, as casually as she could muster with a dragon glaring at her, flicked a certain Synchro towards the edge of the table, hiding it from the dragon's sight with her wrist. In the same motion, she lifted a card she had been concealing under the table for this moment, and inspected it. Her movement had been so natural that to anyone else, it would have appeared like she had pulled one of Kane's cards closer to her and picked that same card up.

 

Madeline shot a quick glance at Kane to make sure he hadn't noticed the abrupt, yet stealthy motion. Her heart pounded with glee. The amazing thrill, stealing someone's own favorite card under their nose. She casually placed the card back on the table, taking care to 'accidentally' bump a different card over the card's picture, concealing the most obvious sign of the switch from Kane's sight, and only the white border of the replacement card could be seen. It wouldn't fool him for long, she knew that, but it would give her the time she needed.

 

"Excuse me, will you? I have to go to the ladies' room," she told Kane, standing up. "It was nice meeting you and I wish you good luck in your next matches. The very best of luck," she added, in the same casual, cheerful tone she had been using thus far in their conversation. You haven't a chance now, she thought with an internal malicious smirk.

 

With those words of parting, she rose, smiled at Astrum, and quickly made her exit, heading towards the girls' bathroom, but having every intention of walking right past it. Concealed by her wrist was the pilfered Stardust Dragon card. She spotted Tyson and gave him a smirk and a subtle nod. If that dragon had caught on too soon, she hoped he'd be able to buy her a few extra seconds. It didn't take her long to spot Dan as well, and from the look in his eye, she guessed that he too knew what she had been up to.

 

"Do enjoy your new Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon, Kane," she whispered around her breath. "It's the least I can do to repay you."

Elliot continued to gaze around at the duelists present until four duelists caught his eyes. Elliot was staring intently at Kane, Madeline, Dan, and Tyson. He felt a strange unexplainable aura coming from the four of them. However, Elliot didn't know what to make of this weird sensation. "(This feeling I'm getting from those four, it's so weird, I can't really describe it at all.....)" Elliot thought to himself. The feeling he got from Madeline, Dan, and Tyson were much more menacing however. Dan continued to watch Madeline and then he looked up at Astrum. "(Playing dumb are we? Who knew this guy would lie as well, well, he's still a human I guess. Madeline however, could be more dangerous and cunning than him.)" Dan thought to himself. Dan then noticed Madeline using her cunning to get the card. "(Hehe, excellent job Madeline. Once again, another terrific performance.....)" Dan thought to himself as he gave another eerie smirk. Elliot was watching the whole time but didn't see that trick just now. He just kept on watching as normal.

[BANZAI!!!!]

Kane picked up his cards as Astrum hovered over to him. "Kane, look through your cards. I don't trust that woman."

"Why? She seemed nice enough."

"Yes, TOO nice. She was much too upfront and personal. Plus, she TOUCHED my card."

"You are way too overprotective of that thing Astrum. Its really annoy-" Kane stopped, speechless as he looked at what should have been a Stardust Dragon card.

"Idiot!" said Astrum as Kane hopped on his back and the two flew after the thief, catching up to her near the EXIT sign in the hallway. "Thought you can get away with stealing from us did you?" Kane said with disgust.

"If you give it back I might not rip you in half, foolish woman." Snarled Astrum with a decidedly sadistic scowl on his draconic face. It looked as if he was ready to pounce.

Madeline had never expected to have much time after the theft, so she was altogether unsurprised when the now dragon-riding Kane caught up to her less than three minutes after she had gone. She silently cursed the misfortune of failing to get out of the building in that amount of time and change her clothing, but reasoned that getting that much time without being suspected by everyone else was a blessing in itself.

 

"You know what, yeah I kind of did," Madeline replied, smirking at Kane. Her innocent charisma had all but vanished and was replaced by cooler behavior. Her gaze shifted to the P.O.ed dragon. "Don't toy with me, dragon," she warned. Her violet eyes flashed, somehow keeping an allure in them despite the hardened gaze.

 

"The problem with duelists today...and their befriended dragons," she mused aloud, turning to address Astrum and only Astrum. "They all underestimate the female, don't they? I'm a foolish woman to you, yet your master is a naive man. You threaten me so rashly, but I can repay the threat in kind. There are far easier things that can be ripped in two, am I right?" she asked, the taunt evident in her tone.

 

"Besides, your card is safe for now," she continued, gesturing her right arm. "How much longer it will remain in such a state depends on your next move. You have no way of knowing whether this disk has the infamous self-destructing anti-theft device installed, aside from me telling you that it does. Not such an easy victim, now am I? Chauvinistic men, the both of you."

 

"But is your master enough of a man to accept a duel?" Madeline sneered. "Is he strong enough to win without his little pet backing him up every step of the way? Without you, he most likely never would have noticed his lost card until the thief was long gone. I knew you'd see through my charade and he would not."

 

"So what do you say, Kane? Are you willing to make a little wager?" Madeline challenged, brandishing her Disk. "If you duel me and win, I'll return your card. If it's a draw, the card remains mine until a rematch."

 

"And if you're wondering what happens when you lose..." Madeline chuckled, a faint sadistic note to her smile. "Then the shadows claim your soul. So what will you do, Kane? Does the card mean that much to you?"

Elliot watched as the Madeline exited the cafeteria then followed swiftly by Kane. "Huh? I wonder what's happening? Aw man, I don't want to be noisy or anything but I might as well take a peek, that guy looked angry when he rushed out of there." Elliot stated as he stood up and went towards the direction of Kane and Madeline. Dan watched the two of them left the cafeteria, then Elliot left. Dan stood up and stared at Tyson giving him an eerie smirk. His face showed an expression of letting Tyson know that he's going on ahead. Dan then left towards the direction of the others. "How interesting...... hehe....." Dan stated.

[BANZAI!!!!]

"You asked for this!" roared Astrum as he charged up a blast of wind and energy, but Kane held up his left arm, now with a duel disk attached, in a motion to stop. "You really know how to push a guy's buttons, I'll give you that." he said with a confident smirk on his face. "However, I can't allow you to simply steal my ace card, so I accept your challenge."

"Kane. Think for a moment. We don't know what she is capable of."

"So? I can handle it, bud, even without your card."

"I can't stop you then... fine. But BE CAREFUL."

" Sure, no problem." With that, he activated his duel disk. The machine was an older model, like the ones used in Battle city, but it was painted blue and white instead of the traditional paint scheme. It also appeared to have a wrist dealer for turbo duels. "I'll make the first move!" Kane said as he drew his five card starting hand. At the same moment, his LP counter went to 8000 and hologram projectors activated.

"Draw! I set one monster face down and end my turn. You're up!"

"Ooh...oh yeah! Harder...harder...yeah....that's it...more...more!"

"Itsu, it's only a massage!"

Itsu and Desna were on the Mediterranean isle of Aeaea, home of the New You Spa, one of the few spas with unisex facilities. Of course, almost no one that visited the spa knew of the special premium that you could pay to not be transformed into an animal or an anthro. Fortunately, Itsu, who had scouted out the facility beforehand, did.

The masseuse, an anthropomorphized she-wolf named Kirsten, was surprisingly good at her job, and Itsu had been chatting with her until Kirsten got on Itsu's back andstarted using her hindpaws to rub in the cyborg's back.

"I know, but it feels so good to be on vacation after centuries of work! A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right?"

"Well, no thanks to that fiasco in the Fusion of Worlds, I got kicked out of C3! I had just found a quiant little dimension to start a new life in, until you dragged me along on this little trip!"

"Don't worry, Desna. There's a tourney in New Domino coming up soon, and I think we might have some fun there.

"But we only have 2 people! Where's the third?"

Itsu gave one of her signature "I'm-planning-three-steps-ahead-of-you" smirks.

"We've already got one."

The whole purple fire, or cloud of darkness...those weren't necessary because he'd see the consequences of the duel in a short time.

 

"Just a monster?" Madeline asked, fighting a chuckle. "Then this will be even easier than I thought," she said, swiftly drawing five cards, and then a sixth. "I activate the spell card Terraforming!" she announced. A card slid out from her deck and she seized it. "In case you don't know what it does, it lets me snag a Field Spell card from my deck. She turned the card to show him the card, only to immediately place it inside the extended slot of her disk.

 

"Wetlands!" she stated. The ground around them swiftly changed to a marshland. Long grasses grew from the border of the field, and for a slight moment, a purple flame formed a circle around the marsh. "This gives all Level 2 or lower Aqua monsters of the Water Attribute an additional 1200 ATK points!" she explained.

 

She took a look at her hand and smirked. "I discard this Ronintoadin from my hand to Special Summon Swap Frog!" she said. A large yellow frog with red stripes appeared, croaking defiantly. (Lvl 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 1000, DEF: 500)

 

"When this guy is Summoned, I can send one Level 2 or lower Water Aqua monster from my deck to the graveyard," she told Kane with a sweet smile. "Treeborn Frog will do."

 

"Next, I remove the Treeborn Frog I sent to the graveyard to Special Summon Ronintoadin from my graveyard!" (Level 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 100, DEF: 2000)

 

"Then I Normal Summon Submarine Frog!" she continued, placing another card on her disk. A bipedal frog, wearing a diver's suit and wielding a spear, materialized beside the other frog. (Level 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 1200, DEF: 600)

 

"Now for my next trick, I activate my Swap Frog's effect. By returning one monster from my field to my hand, I do an additional Normal Summon for a Frog monster. So I will return Ronintoadin to my hand," Madeline stated, removing the smaller monster to her hand. "And Normal Summon Unifrog!" A small, purple frog with a horn materialized. (Level 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 400, DEF: 400)

 

"Don't forget," Madeline said with a smirk. "All my monsters are Level 2 or lower Aqua Type, WATER attribute monsters. So all of them gain 1200 ATK points!"

 

Her three monsters croaked loudly, the sounds echoing in the marsh.

 

Swap Frog: ATK: 2200

Unifrog: ATK: 1600

Submarine: ATK: 2400

 

Madeline laughed, her eyes glinting. "How's that for an opening move?" she mocked. "Now for business. Unifrog can attack my opponent directly!"

 

The smallest frog croaked and lunged at Kane to stick him with its horn. Madeline continued. "Submarine Frog deals piercing damage, so then attack his facedown monster! And if all goes well, Swap Frog will deal a direct attack!"

Elliot was peeking at the duel that Kane and Madeline are currently having. "So they wanted to duel, good thing I came out here then, or else I would've missed out on another duel. For now I'll just quietly watch from afar." Elliot stated quietly as he continued to watch the duel. From behind Elliot came Dan who stared at Elliot with cold eyes. "What do you think you're doing?" Elliot was surprised and fell to the ground. "Uh nothing, I'm just watching the duel." Elliot responded. "I don't remember you as a competitor in this tournament. Humph, but it doesn't really matter now, I'm not interested in your explanation, I'm just here to watch the duel as well...." Dan stated.

"Ghhhh!" Kane grunted as the frog's horn hit him. Then submarine frog's attack destroyed his set monster: Masked dragon. "Using my Masked dragon's effect, I now special summon another Masked dragon from my deck in defense mode!" The dragon appeared, snarling. "Care to take this one out too? Hehe you can't break me that easy." said Kane. "Stll... whats with your monster holograms? Why do they have so much force behind them? "

Madeline grinned, but shook her head. "Your dragon will be spared. I end my turn," she said. If she destroyed the other dragon, he could do another search, but this time he could pick something more suiting of a come back, something not selected to absorb another attack.

 

Her three frogs settled down, glaring over at Kane. Madeline smirked. "Oh, is the card game hurting you?" she mocked, her eyes showing flickers of delight at the discomfort the damage had caused. That's just the beginning of what this duel will put you through if you last long enough to experience it!

"I understand." Velon said and nodded. He was holding a celphone up to his ear. "Tell Koa'ki that I'm happy to join."

He clicked the celphone, which gave away a beep as he slid it back into his pocket. He then took a bite out of the tuna sandwich he was holding in his other hand.

The voice came from Velon's deck, and Velon looked a bit annoyed.

"My nerves are disabled because of my wound, and this includes the nerves on my tongue. I don't even know how this sh*t tastes..."

Velon was at a small eating place. It was not very crowded, but it was close to where the tournament would be held.

Sometimes, he wished he could just extinguish him, but the power and skill and memories are vital. But then, for the first time, something happened. Ran was teleported into a room. But he didn't feel like he was teleported. In front of him stood a man, wearing some form of black ancient samurai-ninja mix clothes, and had white and black hair. Ran could have sworn that man smiled before his mind went back to where he was before.

"How strange." Ran muttered to himself.
