"Well, best start my move. I draw!" Kane looked at the card he picked up from his deck, and a large grin appeared on his face. "I love it when I get lucky, now let me introduce you to a very good friend of mine: Debris Dragon!" Kane placed the card on his duel disk, and the creature appeared next to masked dragon. "Next, I set two cards face down. And now, I tune my Debris Dragon with my Masked dragon to synchro summon Ancient Fairy Dragon in attack mode!" The angelic dragon appeared in the wake of the two tributes, its green hair flowing in the artificial breeze created by its summoning. "Astrum's not the only powerhouse in my deck, I have plenty more! Now I activate ancient fairy dragon's effect! I destroy your field spell card, and in the process I gain 1000 life points. Now, Ancient fairy dragon attacks your weakened unifrog! Roast em' Ancient fairy dragon!" With that the beast hurled a sparkling beam of light energy from its mouth at unifrog, aiming to vaporize it completely.

Jane walked around the hallways, tight, black skinny jeans hugging her waist as she took each step in her favorite White(I know that color doesn't exist. I sure wish it did though!)Converse Knee Highs. She was wearing a bright pink tanktop, light blue bra straps in clear view. She walks towards the cafeteria and happens to notice a duel unfold, "Oh... This is bad." She walks around it, happening to almost trip and fall on Elliot before noticing him, "Oh! Well, do you two know what's going on here? They seem kinda... Angry." Meanwhile, she thought to herself

This entire room has such a weird vibe to it... I swear there's something more complex than a duel going on here. It'd probably be better just to watch.

 

"Mind if I join you two in watching?"

Madeline's eye twitched at the sight of the dragon, even more so when her marshland shattered apart into packets of pixels, starting with the grasses at the border and culminating with the swamp itself. Her three frogs croaked in distress as their home vanished and their attack power dropped.

The smallest of the frogs tried to leap out of the way of the burst of energy, but to no avail, it blew apart as easily as sugar glass. Madeline scowled as the remaining energy struck her, forcing her to recoil a pace.

"Yes, I'm finished. You know, If you give up now and return my card, I'll let you off easy, okay?" Astrum slapped his claw to his face, a "Facepalm" gesture. "Kane, do you HONESTLY think that she'll give up just because you pulled a good move out of your ass? Really, partner, think a bit."

"Its worth a shot, right?" Kane said shrugging. "Turn end!" he called out and ancient fairy dragon began to hover majestically a few feet above the ground, her hair still flowing in the holographic breeze.

"No, I think I can manage," Madeline retorted, drawing her next card with an air of irritation. "First, I activate Moray of Greed!" she announced. "I return 2 WATER monsters from my hand to my deck," she said, smirking and placing the two cards in her hand on top of her deck, the automatic shuffler swiftly burying those cards inside her deck. "And then, I get to draw 3 new cards!"

 

Madeline swiftly flicked the cards to her hand and examined from for a few moments. "I set one monster in defense position!" she announced, slapping a card facedown and horizontally. Between the two lingering frogs, a card image appeared between them.

 

"Then, I'll place two cards facedown and switch my two frogs to defense position," she replied blandly. What she needed was a new field spell. Then, if it was needed, she could bring out her most powerful creature, which lurked within her deck. It would unfortunately, completely blow her cover, though, and for that reason, she hoped it wouldn't come to that.

"My turn, draw!" Kane looked at his hand, attempting to formulate a strategy. Suddenly, he noticed one of the combos he had layed out on the table minutes before was in his hand. He smiled. " This one's gonna hurt a bit. First, I switch ancient Fairy Dragon to Defense mode. Then, I activate Brain Control! I lose 800 life points, but I get to take control of a face up monster. Specifically, I want your Swap frog. Assuming that works, I tribute swap frog to tribute summon Horus The Black Flame Dragon LV6!" The frog faded, and in its place appeared a Bird-like dragon with a metal body and a fiery aura. "Horus, Attack Submarine frog, go!" The dragon let out a bust of purple/black flame that went straight toward the frog.

Jane squirmed a little, she felt so uncomfortable for some reason. She could just TELL some of the people were NOT here just to watch a "Simple Duel". She felt the need to protect this man. She put her hand on her Jet Black Deck Box with her Lightsworns inside of it, in anticipation of a possibly unfair advantage. She really wanted to make sure he was okay for no reason at all. Strange.

"I activate Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord!" Madeline shouted, one of her facedown cards flipped up and a watery barrier surrounded her side of the field. "For this turn, all my Level 3 or below WATER monsters can't be destroyed in battle or by card effects! So your attack will just bounce right off!"

 

She smirked and chuckled. "Anything else you want to feebly throw at me this turn?"

Horus's blast turned to purple smoke upon contact with the barrier, blanketing the field lightly with the colorful, gasseous substance. "Not really. I end my turn."

"It seems we have an audience, Kane." Said Astrum, making a gesture with his head toward the onlookers. "Doesn't matter to me." stated Kane, confidently.

Madeline's body quivered slightly as she repressed her laughter, finally composing herself enough to draw a card. "I flip my facedown Flip Flop Frog!" she announced, grinning widely. A large gray, speckled frog materialized, offering a quiet croak. It seemed like a backwards creature, its head pointing upwards so as to be upside down. (Lvl 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 500 DEF: 200)

 

"When this card is flipped faceup, I can return monsters from your field to your hand up to the number of Frog monsters on my field," Madeline explained with a smirk. "Of course, I have 2, and you have 2 monsters, so you can guess which two will be saying goodbye to the field, don't you?"

 

The gray frog lashed outs its tongue, coiling it around Horus and Ancient Fairy Dragon, both of which glowed with a yellow light.

Elliot jumped up quickly as he saw Jane. "Whoa!" Elliot exclaimed. "Hehe, that was kind of a surprise right there. Sorry..." Elliot stated as he scratched the back of his head and smiled nervously in embarrassment. Dan stared at the Jane intently with cold and eerie eyes. "Humph.... Do whatever you like, I'm not in control of your actions...." Dan stated coldly as he turned back to watch the duel unfold. "Please don't mind him.... Of course you can watch, by the way I'm Elliot, please to meet you miss." Elliot stated as he held out his hand for a handshake and gave a friendly smile.

Itsu and Desna were now at the legendary Karaoke Kami bar in Kyoto, a karaoke bar/dance club where contestants could sign up to compete against computer-controlled holograms off the actual singers of the songs. And currently, our intrepid vacationing duo was up against a virtual Cascada, the original artist of the pop hit "Evacuate the Dance Floor".

"Come and evacuate. Feel the club is heating up. You wanna accelerate. Push it to the top. Come and evacuate. Feel the club is heating up. You wanna accelerate. You don't have to be afraid."

"Now guess who's back with a brand-new track and got everybody in the club goin' mad? So everybody in the back get you back off of the wall and just shake that thang! Go crazy, yo lady, yo baby let see you wreck that thang! Now drop it down low, let me you take it to the dance floor, yo!"

And they were winning.

Those two others were going insane. Seriously, they rock better than the rocker. And it seemed everyone else in the place was losing, easily. He decided not to join, seriously. He just waited outside. The black samurai-ninja-mix-clothed man turned out to be some kind of friend of one of them, the man was called Protheus Maximus or something. Singing wasn't his thing, and even if it was, karaoke definitely isn't. He had to keep a low profile and also keep on tabs of their activities. It's hard enough suppressing the Wicked Eraser's presence AND Protheus's control simultaneously, but now he has to do it while listening to those other two karaoke with Cascada. "This is madness." He muttered.

Itsu and Desna received a standing ovation from the crowd, and the two bowed. However, as Itsu got up, she saw someone she knew in the crowd, and, curious, she motioned to Desna as they melted back into the crowd.

"You sure?"

"Positive. I would recognize him anywhere."

"What about a time duplicate or an alternate version?"

"He's been traveling the multiverse long before I was. He doesn"t have any of those."

They followed the mysterious stranger out of the karaoke bar and into the streets of Kyoto.

Jane was snapped out of her focus on the duel to look back to Elliot, "Oh, yes. Pleased to meet you. Name's Jane." She shook his hand lightly with the tips of her fingers, a womanly handshake of sorts. For a mere second she was distracted. My, his hands are so soft. She snaps back into focus and turns back to the duel, her deck still in her hand. She was slightly taken off guard by this cold hearted man staring at her, and for a moment she saw the man that stabbed her, but she shivered and the thought dissipated,

Calm yourself, Jane. Stress will not help you here. Focus on this boy, he may need you.

 

Jane nodded, Yes Ronoa. Sorry. She completely focuses on the duel at hand, waiting for Kane's next move.

Ran left the bar, it was getting very noisy, and the duo were almost finished. Currently, they weren't doing anything troublesome. When they were unnoticed for the splittest second, Ran gave him permission to use his body for a little while, causing the body to take Protheus's appearance. With a ripped soul, I find it hard to believe I have every single memory.

Well then, let's just say this, do anything suspicious, and I'm taking control again.

Protheus recognized Itsu's presense, confirming she is well...her, along with...some other person who he doesn't know, at all. Ran had nothing to do anyway but keep tabs. What, so you actually know her?

Of course I do, I may be as ancient as King Atem's kingdom, but I'm definitely not just some sealed spirit who came from THIS dimension.

You mean........there are other dimensions.......other than this one...?

"Not so fast!" Kane yelled as he quickly flipped over one of his face down cards. "When you flip summoned Flip Flop Frog you activated my trap: Torrential tribute!" With that, a massive wave of water came pouring down in the field, covering all the monsters on it. Seconds later, small expolsions of pixels could be seen beneath the receding wave. "It may destroy all of my monsters too, but its better than having to contend with a field full of monsters on the opposite side as well." Kane thought to himself grimly. "I'm assuming that"s all?" he called over.

Madeline shielded herself from the cascading water and her eye twitched subtly when her monsters met their fates. Ultimately, it didn't really matter to her that her monsters had disappeared. She wasn't out of options yet, and the price of eliminating his monsters was well worth her cost as well.

 

"You assume too much! I set 1 monster and end my turn!" she stated, regarding Kane coolly.

Elliot continued to smile as he placed his hand back to his side. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Jane, hehe." Elliot then turned his attention back to the duel. "Wow, these guys are really good. No wonder they're in this tournament." Elliot stated. "Humph..... This battle is nothing..... That is compare to how I duel..... This battle is going on longer than I would've thought...... (C'mon Madeline, this guy should be an easy win, are you toying with him, I wonder..... Huh, and what happened to Tyson, looks like he didn't follow to watch this duel.)" Dan thought to himself. He then carefully glanced back at Jane, however, from this angle, Jane wouldn't be able to notice Dan glancing back at her. "(This girl..... something's up here...... I better keep a close eye on her..... she might be our next prey.....)" Dan thought to himself as he glanced back to the duel.

"Hmmm... that facedown seems suspicious, but if I don't go on the offensive, she'll probably swarm the field with frogs again. Well, here goes nothing!." Kane thought to himself; staring at his hand while doing so. "I draw!Perfect! now I can go on the offensive without worrying about a counterattack! I activate Swords of Revealing Light, which flips your set monster face up and blocks your attacks for three of your turns!" Three glowing blades descended upon Madeline's field, flipping her monster face up.

Madeline shrugged as three large, shining swords formed a loose circle around her field, casting their illuminating light upon her field. Her facedown monster materialized, the light revealing it to be a pale blue frog with a graduation cap upon its head. (Lvl 2, WATER, Aqua, ATK: 100, DEF: 2000).

 

Madeline merely smirked. "I hope that wasn't the best you've got," she taunted softly, flicking her silver hair to the side and making eye contact. It's not just your Stardust Dragon that relies on your victory, the state of your soul does, too!

Jane groans, she was really unsettled by this. She starts shuffling through her deck, looking to see that it's all prepared. The way things are going, she sees a battle coming in the very near future. Ronoa spoke soft words into her head, telling her to just be calm. She will get her chance to prove herself, what with her mighty Lightsworn deck, or perhaps something more... For now she would use the lightsworns, something everyone has seen before. But she will save her true power for when she needs it. (Or when I finish the YCM set. :P)

OOC:Zai's internet is down at the moment, doesn't sound like a huge problem, but for today the rp will probably be inactive, seeing as how his duel is the only active plot right now. I'd suggest that the characters that have been accepted and are active please post and make interactions with one another so the rp can thrive once, you know, the duel ends. e.e;

Then, I activate Level Up!, which allows me to destroy my horus LV4 to special summon another Horus LV6 (2300/1600)!" Horus LV6 appeared on the field once again, and defiantly roared. "Now Horus, attack her face down monster!" The black flame blast scorched across the field, going directly for the card hologram on the field.

Madeline scowled, doing nothing as her frog gave off a whiny croak, blowing apart as the purple flames engulfed it. The graduation cap spiraled into the air pitifully before also shattering apart. Madeline sneered. "Oh well. When Dupe Frog is destroyed, I can add one 'Frog' from my deck to my hand, and I choose a Swap Frog!" she said, idly displaying the chosen card before placing it into her hand.

 

"Now I assume your turn is finished and you'll level up your little dragon," she grumbled. "Am I right?"
