Baragon
It came to Florida.  A bunch of people caught media madness and "got the disease" but there was only like one death. Meh. At least it wasn't like the time people thought cow fever was real, and started mooing randomly. (I live in the former meth capital of the world)

Dizzy~
I actulay got the Swine Flu and then it was gone in like a week. I'm serious. My friend had it and she came back to school on the next Monday or Tuesday, I wouldn't think Swine Flu would really be something to worry about but everyone freaks out about it. Guest Random Dude
I don't think the vaccine has much of an effect after you get the disease.
ShootingTheMoon
Stop right there! (No offense but,) Everything bad comes from Lousiana. Well, besides the Lousiana purchase. Now that that's out of the question, I just live in Connecticut. No a particulary good state. When I'm older, I'm so moving to Minnesota! >. The_Prince_of_Death
hmm. I'd say it just died out from spreading too much...unless there are other affects that nobody knows about....ah who am I kidding, not like there is. >.>
Andx
What happened is we realized that it's just like the regular flu except for its pandemic potential. It's not nearly as lethal as the media made it out to be. In fact the Swine Flu, or at least flu viruses from pigs, have been among common flu for years now. This particular strain freaked us out a bit but the concern was much more than it would have been had the media just stopped talking about it. So yeah, blame the media for overusing it and then getting bored with the topic. That's why you don't hear about it anymore.

Felix Culpa
Well, does anyone here remember Bird Flu? That was supposed to wipe out 5/6 of the population of the earth (mostly in the underdeveloped parts of the world, but also greatly affecting the U.S.) by 2008. Remember Mad Cow Disease? Of course you do, because people STILL freak about it. Umm, does anyone remember the Spanish influenza outbreak back in like 1908?
Headmaster Monokuma
I actulay got the Swine Flu and then it was gone in like a week. I'm serious. My friend had it and she came back to school on the next Monday or Tuesday' date=' I wouldn't think Swine Flu would really be something to worry about but everyone freaks out about it.[/quote'] The media blew it out of proportions. Because of that, everyone freaks out. It's a simple fact of life. If the media says something, tons find it to be true. My sister got, stayed home and rested for few days, and it was gone. Sure she complained, but even she admitted it wasn't too bad.
Dr. Percival Cox
If the media was to say Mc Donald's Bog Mac had a ingrident that gave automatic food poisining the people would eat it up.(No pun intended)
~/Coolio Prime\~
It's called a media scare. The Swine Flu couldn't do sheet in the first place and as such didn't deserve any closure. Over hyping a disease or the such(coughavianbirdflucough) gets lots of station views from morons that buy into it, but an afterthought on the whole situation that acknowledges just how little harm it did only costs stations their credibility.
