[align=center]Codon monsters are monsters that often resemble crosses between two different monster types or things such as computer viruses. Their effects, as a rule, always have the card be treated as 3 cards at some point. The name Codon is from genetics, which is also why they are treated as three cards at some point.

Effect:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play monsters in your Graveyard whose total Level equals the Level of this card, and 1 of the removed from play monsters must be a Machine-Type monster. Once per turn, you can place this card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone or remove this card from your Spell and Trap Card Zone and place it in your Monster Card Zone. While in your Spell and Trap Card Zone, this card is treated as 3 Equip Spell Cards. Once per turn, you can equip up to 3 monsters with this card to have the equipped monster gain the following effect: Once per turn, if this card destroys a monster by battle, you can destroy 1 monster whose Level is lower than the level of the monster destroyed by battle.

Effect:

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only Be Normal Summoned by Tributing 1 Aqua-Type monster and 1 Machine-Type monster or by removing from play 1 Aqua-Type and 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle, it is not, and it is treated as the following 3 Monster Cards (Battle Damage is applied normally.): 2 "Big Squid Blaster"s (Machine-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 400/DEF 200) and 1 "Big Squid Body" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1000/DEF 800).

Effect:

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by it's own effect. When this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not (Damage Calculation is applied normally), and it is treated as 3 monsters of different Types (EARTH/Level 1/ATK 600/DEF 400) or returned to it's owner's hand and treated as 3 Field Spell Cards. While treated as 3 monsters, increase the ATK of each monster by 200 for every monster your opponent controls. You can Tribute this card while it is treated as 3 monsters to Special Summon this card again with an ATK and DEF equal to the sum of the ATK and DEF of the Tributed monsters, respectively. While this card is treated as 3 Field Spell Cards, each Field Spell Card has the following effect: Roll a six-sided die. All monsters with a Level lower than or equal to the number rolled gains 400 ATK. All monsters with a Level greater than or equal to the number rolled lose 800 ATK.

Effect:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 monsters with the same name in your Graveyard. When this card attacks, it is treated as 3 attacking monsters. While treated as 3 attacking monsters, all battle damage inflicted to your opponent by battle with this card becomes 0. If this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not, until the End Phase.

Thanks! That's the first time someone's said any of my card types should be made real! :{D

Mustache!

I tried to balance the effects by summoning conditions and having them all have 1800 ATK and 1200 DEF. Perhaps I'll get around to making a Synchro Codon... Once I get the basic ones down, of course. :{)

Currently working on a Lopunny/Mawile sprite... Looks okay, working on face and going to change arm position. Took quite a bit of scratching so far.

3 Separate attacks with the same ATK.

Sucks because it does no damage and if one is destroyed by a higher ATK/DEF, flip effect, trap, etc, all are. So... It seems powerful, but if you attack, you have to attack thrice, and if they have a face-down, you could be screwed. Also, the ATK is 1800 to minimize OP'dness. All Codons have 1800 ATK 1200.

Mechanical Mallet

-to have the equipped monster(s) gain the following effect

-i think you should give it some sort of counter system to keep track of what monsters are equipped

-i can think of another way to word it but whatever

-good card

BioSquid

-you can treat them as tokens to keep track of them or you can leave it as that because they act like tokens

TerGeos

-its last effect is weird

All monsters with a Level lower than or equal to the number rolled gains 400 ATK. All monsters with a Level greater than or equal to the number rolled lose 800 ATK.

so it activates both ways if the number is equal to the number rolled?

-increase the ATK of each monster you control by 200 for every monster your opponent controls.

CurSwords

overall a very new and interesting idea but quite confusing. its not bad but if they were real I wouldnt use them because they hurt my brain XD

9.5/10
