But I still don't think it'd make a difference if the slots are empty. It's going to inspire people all the same. Either that, or people are just not interested into soccer, so that's why it's so inactive.

 

Just a suggestion, can't we make it that people can take more than 3 teams?DX Because you have more than 3 so it would be just alright if others would be allowed to do it too. Only if they pay the fee though.

Or maybe pay more points to be allowed to change one of the teams? Like, someone would like to drop a team and take one that is taken by you but only if he pays more points and only one, or else it'd be too easy. Because we don't know how the random teams are determinated and have no proof if they're really so random...

I have a list of all the teams. I put them into random.org and shuffle it a few times. The first three teams are what you get. I then remove the randomly selected teams and repeat the above(shuffle and first three teams).

 

 

Your question; well, I have to make sure people actually get a chance to enter.

 

You are very lucky. I was gonna set it to 1 or 2 teams only, however I thought people would have wanted at least 3 teams, which is what I did.

 

 

And changing? Not done in sweepstakes. If you were actually playing for money, dollars, pounds, what-have-you ; and let you change, I could be commiting a crime. Not gonna happen. Sorry, Opal.

Hmm that's what I was thinking, getting some points since all the potential World Cup winners are in his hands, Gemany, Argentina, Brazil. Even if it's coincidal it does look stange.

 

But I don't care much about my points so it's fine.

I do not know how you can say that. The results are PURELY a coincidence. I don't have much need for points. I am wealthy with points as it is. I find myself giving points to random newbies. I am upset you accuse me of that Opal, I really am.

 

Me either they hold no real purpose.

 

That's quite true. They won't get you a house or a car; just graphics and competition fees, things like that. I am disgusted however, that you be so rude to me.

A member reported this thread for alleged scam. I understand how you all may have been upset about the outcome, but what insurance did you have that this would be randomized in the first place?

 

I do share the feeling that it's awkward for the host to have ended up with the strongest teams, but I have no grounds to say for certain that it was a scam, and as such I don't think there's much I can do. Like I said, shouldn't you have made sure things were randomized? Unless I'm missing something, in which case please fill me in.

Lol what? We didn't "accuse" you rudely about anything, it's just, Tommers mentioned his concern and I agreed that it could be that. Because it does seem very strange that somehow most of us got teams like North Korea, Paraguay, Mexico whereas the possible winners (Germany, Argentina, Spain, lolBrazil) were all for the same person. It can be coincidence, I can't argue that but at least next time we need some proof...

I think next time when something like this is done in General, people should provide a screenshot of how they use that randomizer, just so we can see the numbers.

 

But anyway I couldn't care less, Spain won anyway and I could care less about 30 points. So yeah.

Check back u did not, i selected Germany when i joined. You are nothing but a scammer and a fraud. Neg rep should be on its way to you but i won't bother you aren't worth it.

 

 

If you seriously want a flame war I'll give you one, but look at the post above your post. It said that the first person to join could choose 1 team. You were the second. If anyone should neg, it should be me. Now shut up and get on with life.
