Poké Project Version 2 [75/600+] (Includes a special Missingno Tribute card)

So...I figured I'd try reviving my Poké Project...However, since all of the topics were last updated way back in 2009, I felt it inappropriate to bump them...so, now you get this new topic =D Also, I am going to try to keep all of the cards in this one topic, but if I get to the point where I just can't post anymore here, I will split them up again. For now, though, it'll be just this one topic. As before, though, I will make this one important notice:

Please know that this project is now and always will be filled with fake types. If you dislike fake types, leave now. No amount of negative criticism or rep will make me change this. So, if you believe fake types should not be made, then please leave now as I would prefer to keep this topic free of "Don't make fake types". Again, if you read passed this point in the topic you agree NOT to comment on the fake types, nor dock points off for fake types. You agree to comment on only the pictures and the effects (mostly the effects and powers and such) of the cards.

So, here we go. As a note, the number above the card is there to make it easier for me to see which card is what, as imageshack doesn't tell me lol

[align=center][spoiler=New Rules and Card Limits]

[spoiler=Rules]Paralyze Counter - A card with a Paralyze Counter on it must flip a coin when it declares an attack. If tails, negate the attack.

The Summoning or Setting of this card cannot be negated. When this card is Summoned, Spells, Traps, and Effect Monster effects cannot be activated. This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Spells, Traps or Effect Monsters. This card does not count toward your five Monster Card limit. This card cannot be the target of an attack. If this is the only monster on your side of the field, your opponent can attack your Life Points directly. When this card is summoned to the field, pick 1 Spell Card in your deck and place it face-up on the field, placing 99 counters on it. To activate that card, you must remove 1 counter. That card is not destroyed until all 99 counters are removed from the card. If Missingno is still on the field when the counters reach 0, place 99 counters on it again instead of destroying the card. For each turn this card is on the field, decrease the ATK and DEF of every card on your side of the field, in your hand, and in your deck by 1000 (excluding this card). If any cards are reduced to 0 ATK by this effect, remove them from play. If all of your monsters (excluding this card) are removed from play by this effect, you lose the duel.

I never thought you put the "Missing No." Glitch lol

Error fix for Ditto. #2 of the big card list

Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. This card's name, attribute, type, effect, ATK and DEF is treated as the selected monster's until the End Phase.

This had me confused, so if someone can fix the OCG errors I made

6.9/10 for the 1st 5

@WarriorNinja: You know...there is a really big paragraph at the beginning saying not to comment on the fake types, you know? >> Also, if some are overpowered and others are underpowered, then what is what and how would I fix them?

@DHeroDogma: Hmm...I'll use that OCG for Ditto then -nods- I really had no idea how to put it, so I'll definitely switch it to that.

EDIT: I have added Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Glaceon, Unown, Distortion World, and Ultimate Confrontation. Probably more to come today.

Well, though I'm sorry for fake types, your cards still won't be better if they are fake types.

Anyways, if your card has a over-sized ATK and/or DEF, or that it has a simple unfair effect, it is overpowered. Missingno for example. You should balance it out. If cards have high ATK of level, balance it out with fair effects that are balanced.

Unpowered are effects that are way to fair and can harm you in a real duel. Just simplify the effect.

Also, my tip is to think about pokemon and their moves and apply it in yugioh terms into making your effect, and they will be better.

If you want help or examples, talk to me or look at my sig for my version

Well, if you really looked at Missingno, you'd see that it's just a "tribute" card, not an actual monster I plan for you to use...If, however, someone did try to use it, the effect is "The person who summons this card to the field loses the duel", meaning that, if the card is summoned to the field at all, the duel is over, with the summoner losing. Thus, it doesn't matter that it's ATK and DEF are 9000, and it is level 1, if you use it, you lose. In a way, that kind of balances it out, because there is no way to even use it without losing the duel as soon as it touches the field. The reason it is so powerful but so low level is because it's a glitch. And, regardless, the card is meant as a simple tribute to Missingno, not to be a real card anyway.

I am anticipating that the Legendaries will be considerably OP...but they're Legendaries, so there's no reason for them not to be. The regular pokemon I am hoping won't be OP, though, but if you notice some are OP or UP, let me know what's wrong with them, because in my eyes their effect, ATK, DEF, level, etc. all make them balanced out. I'm not really sure what else to do to make them less or more powerful depending on where they are in power...

Why is it prohibited? o.O If it's a "you're not allowed to unless the author of the topic says you can" rule, then I give you permission. Otherwise...you could PM me an example maybe? So...Missingno, then, is actually UNDERpowered, not overpowered? o.O Well, I really don't have any reason to change it, as I made it as a tribute card, not as a real card...but, I'll take a look at your example (when you send it to me) and see what I can do...I doubt I'll be changing it, though.

Sure, some of the card images are from the anime (and those ones I purposefully grabbed from the anime as they're cards based off the anime) and others are ripped from pokebeach, which can be hard to get good images from sometimes. The rest should be fine, though.

EDIT: Fixed the problem where Onix and Brock's Onix had the same image...I forgot to upload the non-anime one for that...it's fixed now.

Talking about major change in the effect...

This is ... something...

Reducing the ATK of monsters in your Deck and hand though is really odd

It's so unusual that nobody uses such effect (maybe for the hand they use, but for the Deck...)

I have no idea how can this effect be used.

Anyhow, it's rather creative :D

Well, Missingno is really only good for one thing, re-using a Spell Card over and over again. Of course, the average player will lose the duel if they don't manage to win within 3 turns of playing the card (as most monsters generally only have 3000 ATK or less, and with a 1000 ATK reduction per turn, that's pretty much only 3 turns before you lose the duel unless you're lucky enough to have something more powerful in your deck). In either case, though, it's supposed to be useless as it's effect represents its use in game. When you caught it, it shot up your sixth inventory item to infinite, but also, if used, it had a chance to completely erase your game (and not just your save, I mean the game itself, leaving you with nothing but a blank cartridge).

Well then you have to pick some kind of overpowered spell card,

Ooh, "Ookazi", 99x800 = 79200 points of damage

absolutely no one can survive that kind of damage.

unless they used "Prime Material Dragon", then I can't think of any Spell Card that can be used enough to destroy your opponent in 3 turns.

well, that's true, Ookazi would pretty much annihilate your opponent if you could use it over and over again hehe. Of course, any spell card that inflicts direct damage like that could easily do it, since you can use it 99 times, and after that, since Missingno would still be on the field, it gets 99 more counters, making it usable 99 more times lol It's an infinite loop until Missingno is destroyed.

You could even overly use some kind of ATK boost card...

Limiter Remover!! while Ancient Gear Golem or some kind of piercing machine monster, Constant Double ATK even for wimpy little machines with at least 50 ATK can be boosted to Ultimate Power!!

and Missingno can only be destroyed by a card that doesn't target him

Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force, Obelisk the Tormentor!! LOL

true, but why would you want to destroy him? The only cards that the player using him can use to destroy him that don't target him (that I know of) are Cyber Jar and Dark Hole. All other cards destroy your opponent's monsters only. Only Dark Hole would work, too, cause Cyber Jar (if I recall) has under 1k ATK, so once Missingno is out, by the next turn, where you could play or even use Cyber Jar, he would already be destroyed (otherwise, Missingno's effect is pretty much useless). If I was an opponent, and my enemy used Missingno, I'd just laugh and pass up my turns until Missingo destroyed him.

As for the first part...I don't quite understand that lol

get a spell card that boosts the monster's ATK by monsterous proportions to use over and over.

Limiter Remover Doubles all Machines ATK. why not use it in a machine deck.

Lol Card Destruction over and over, so you have to run the Thickest deck possible lol.

constantly both players discards cards from hand to draw same amount over and over.

there is so many spells to use!
