Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Signers vs The Ultimate Enemy [Started/Accepting via OOC]

Luna led Menoe through the weird light. They saw Arcna force monsters and bits of other light monsters too. But they looked...... Evil. They were of course LIGHT but they looked dark at the same time. Would this be the Light of Destruction Yusei told me about? With monster that are Light attribute but carry a will to festroy things. Luna thought to herself. Then they arrived in the real world right outside of Poppo time. Where Leo was inside dueling.

 

 

" Leo my name is Leo. My turn I draw. I activate swords of revealing Light making sure you have to flip all monsters face up when activated. And you can't attack." Leo said laing it down on his duel disk.

"I wasn't exactly planning on attacking this turn." Jessie told him. "Leo." she said slowly. She thought about the name, and repeated it a bit slower. "Leo. The Latin for "lion." Hm. That's a good name. Very strong. Your parents obviously wished for you to be a strong young man. With a lions heart. I think they received their wish." The monster on her side of the field reviled itself. "Gravekeeper's Guard. (DEF: 1900) And with the Necrovalley Field Spell out, all Gravekeeper's monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. So, his DEF is currently 2400. My name is Jessie, by the way."

Yusei, Crow and Jack were working on their runners. When they finally finished. They exited Poppo Time. Once they saw the mark in the sky. Yusei quickly headed into the garage and mounted his runner, and headed down towards the mark. Once he made it his eyes widened. "Leo!!!" he yelled. Jack and Crow quickly followed Yusei. "!!!! Leo! What're you doing?!" Crow yelled. "Leo!" Jack yelled while cuffing his hands over his mouth.

Yusei, Crow and Jack were working on their runners. When they finally finished. They exited Poppo Time. Once they saw the mark in the sky. Yusei quickly headed into the garage and mounted his runner, and headed down towards the mark. Once he made it his eyes widened. "Leo!!!" he yelled. Jack and Crow quickly followed Yusei. "!!!! Leo! What're you doing?!" Crow yelled. "Leo!" Jack yelled while cuffing his hands over his mouth.

Inside the small building, Rui wandered around. Oddly there was nobody inside.

Luna rushed inside Poppo time to find Leo dueling the dark signer. " Leo?????? what the hell are you thinking?" Luna yelled at him. She knew it was too late and that if she wanted to save her brother Leo would have to win the duel. Which mos likely wouldn't be the case. but she always had her and Akiza's theory on the status quo. Which meant the Status Quo was against leo.

Luna rushed inside Poppo time to find Leo dueling the dark signer. " Leo?????? what the hell are you thinking?" Luna yelled at him. She knew it was too late and that if she wanted to save her brother Leo would have to win the duel. Which mos likely wouldn't be the case. but she always had her and Akiza's theory on the status quo. Rui looked rather confused at the statement.

"Yliaster? What's that? Sorry for my rudeness, I'm Rui Nekoname, and-"

"I know who you are - you're one of several people Yliaster has been keeping tabs on recently." Kris walked over and lounged on a cushioned seat in the empty building. Rui understood and sat opposite him, allowing him to continue explaining. "Yliaster is a very powerful group, and I was born into it. They have the power to overturn the law and can even control whole cities without anyone knowing before it's too late. As I was one of their best, I had a high priority mission...And it happened to involve you."

"Me?!" Gasped Rui.

"yes, you." Said Kris. Throughout his whole conversation he did not break a smile, frown or anythign similar to an emotion. "Specifically, I was supposed to kill you."

 

Rui's world went blank as she heard this. She tried to speak but couldn't.

"So you were the one who..." Kris nodded.

"I was the one who led the attack on you that night. But something inside of me clicked...You released my emotions. Experiencing distress for the first time made me lie and say you were dead, however I hoped you would be OK. Unfortunately, I did check up on you later, while I was on another solo mission. You had gone."

 

Kris took a deep breathe and then seemed to shed a small tear. "I hoped you would stay low and off our radar, since if anyone recognised you my job would be forfeit. However it seems you found that too difficult. You were seen several times, and each time there was the same difference with you...You had become a Dark Signer."

"What's a Dark Signer?" Asked Rui innocently. Kris moaned before continuing.

"Evil. That's what a Dark Signer is. Now, since they realised that we had not killed you quickly, as I had claimed, they wanted my blood. I had to flee. I have been spending days on the run, and only minutes ago I encountered you....Though it appears you have somehow returned to normal."

 

Kris got up and gestured to the door. "Nontheless, it seems impractical for either of us to have high profiles. I won't hold you back." Rui walked towards the door, but just before she left, Kris let out a last scowl: "By the way, Rui Nekoname-chan, if you inform anyone of my hiding spot, I won't hesitate to kill you, regardless of my emotions returning to me."

"R-Right..." Rui walked out of the building and began making her way back to where she had dueled, confused and overloaded with information.

"This can't be!" Phoenix says. "I'm still a dark signer!!!!!" Phoenix yells in anger, checking through his deck. "But for some reason my earthbound immortal has been replaced with this card...a lightbound immortal? What are those?!" Phoenix wonders, While meanwhile, In the real world, Lucciano rode up to Yusei Jack and Crow on his duel runner. "Yusei, I challenge you to a turbo duel!" Lucciano says.

Menoe simply shrugged. "Hardly, you can't stop him, it's too late." He said. He then paused to sense Phoenix again. Lightbound? Seriously, things work differently in every dimension. In my dimension, they were called SKYbounds. Oh well He then sighed, only to notice the massive headache, and collapsed to his knees. "Remind me again to refind and recheck that spell book once this is all over, Luna." His head was screaming. Seriously, even more so than the Spirit World. This just sucks. He managed to say in mind.

Now Rui had left, Kris had time to think to himself once more. He sat down on the cushioned chair and acquired a drink he had left nearby.

"Why on earth did I tell her all of that...? Could it be pity...?" After immersing himself in thought, he began to slip into a deep sleep, dreaming his life's events.

Kris was walking down a brightly-decorated hallway in an old Yliaster HQ. He had just received orders to kill the former Duel Monsters champion of Japan, as she now knew the Yliaster agent whom had killed her parents. Kris had no problem with this, and was soon leading a party of 5 people (all disguised) through the streets and over the rooftops of south Japan. Eventually, the girl was struck down by one of Kris' underlings. The group then proceeded to wound the girl, when Kris suddenly felt something new. He felt sympathy, remorse and distress. At once he ordered the team to stand back so he could make sure she was dead. He felt the girl's pulse, then looked up.

"Target silenced. We should return to headquarters."

In his mind, Kris knew he would lose his job if anyone knew she would live, but somehow it felt like it didn't matter...

 

The dream went black, and then Kris found himself reliving the discovery of Rui.

 

"Agent Yukai. If you recall not long ago we sent you on an assasination mission for Rui Nekoname. You returned hours later with your group saying she had been killed. But if you view this footage..."

Kris looked at the screen, seeing the very same girl he had saved jumping from building to building in black robes, black sclera and a dark mark. "It appears you disobeyed." Kris tried to excuse himself.

"N-No! We made sure she was dead! Everyone checked and she had definately died!"

"Oh really?" The man smiled. "That's funny, I asked each member of your team and they all said you alone claimed she was dead. Sadly I needed to silence THEM as well, now..." the man typed something onto the PC, and Kris saw his picture gain "WANTED" as an overlay. "You must also be punished."

 

Kris began running as fast as he could, using several weapons to smash his way out of the headquarters. Eventually he found himself running through the streets being chased.

 

Kris woke up, startled. "Argh...Not the best of all things to relive..." he muttered. He then had a look outside. No sign of the other Yliaster members who were chasing me..But I bet if I don't move soon I'll be silenced for sure.

 

He gathered the few items he had in a small bag and was about to leave when he noticed something. Something was on the chair RUi sat on. Kris picked up a powerful-looking card.

"Chainsaw Insect? This is a good insect card. I should return this to her, since she lost it after all."

 

Leaving the building, Kris then walked back to where he had passed Rui and Lavoc, certain she would be there.

"Luna, that's your sister then? The Latin for 'moon,' pale and beautiful, yet still strong." Jessie looked over at Luna, "A very nice name. You should take good care of it." She then drew her card, and looked back to Leo. "That makes it my turn. I'll start off by playing the Spell card Dark Room of Nightmare. After that, I'll Summon Gravekeeper's Vassal (ATK 700)." she said, a small man appearing on her field. It's ATK gauge appeared, and the ATK went up to 1200. "And, since your Swords of Revealing Light prevents me from attacking, I'll just end my turn."

Menoe stood up again, forcing the headache away from his body. "What am I, chopped liver? I happen to exist too, you know, Dark Signer." He said. He then faced Rua Leo. "Leo is the name of a lion constellation and Luna is the name of the moon. Huh. I so know you want to protect Luna but this isn't the right way to do it. You're doing the wrong thing. Really...." He then faced the Dark Signer again. "Gravekeepers. Huh. I always did hate Necrovalley."

"I've got more than just Gravekeeper's. If I get the chance, you may see what else I have up my sleeve. Though, it may be over before I get that chance. Just keep watching Mr..." she trailed off realizing she hadn't caught his name. "Hm. I don't know your name. Let's see," she pointed to Yusei, "I know about Yusei Fudo," then to Jack, "Jack Atlas," then to Crow, "Uh...something about a bird...Raven? No, that's not right. uhhh, Crow, yeah, your name is Crow."

"My name is Menoe, named after Menoetius, brother of Prometheus, Atlas, and Epimetheus, and son of Themis and Iapetus in greek mythology. Though it is not my true name, I assure you. It's just I need names so as to distinguish myself from other myselves." He said calmly to the Dark Signer. He didn't fear the Dark Signer in any way whatsoever, and this was obvious in his eyes. He spoke to the Dark Signer as if this was a casual conversation. "Oh and I also happen to be over six thousand years old, I'm older than you, rawr."

"That's quite interesting. No lie." she said, smiling. "You may be much older than I am, but you will never have green hair or purple eyes," she said, laughing, and then stuck her tongue out playfully. "My name is Jessie. There isn't much special about it. It means "wealthy" though." she said thoughtfully. She resumed her friendly smile. "Though far from having enough money to be considered financially wealthy, I do believe I am wealthy in some way. I feel it, though I can't remember it."

"Purple eyes? I had purple eyes once, it was in one my my other hosts. I think my other myself called him Atlas." He said. He then turned back to Jessie, which turned out to be the name of the Dark Signer. "Perhaps you're wealthy in emotion, or skill. I wouldn't know as of yet, but I'm sure the person who invented you out there on his or her computers would probably mention it sometime or another. Or maybe, you're wealthy in the fact that you always lose at dueling. Maybe, just maybe." The words in italics were said very slowly, so as to taunt her. Strange, he never had this habit before. I blame the host.

Leo was considering his options. Maybe this is a bad choice. Then i should end this quickly. Leo thought. If he surrendered that would count as losing which of course would mean him dying. " I draw. I switch Morphtronic Boomboxen, Radion, and scopen to attack mode. I then summon Morphtronic Boarden in attack mode. His effect states that all of my morphtronic monsters can attack my opponent directly. I activate the Cold Wave spell card meaning we both can't activate the effects of Spell or traps until my next turn. I'll now have Morphtronic Boomboxen attack you directly." Leo said as his monster rushed at Jessie.

"Hm, that's quite interesting. And since I can't activate any spells or traps this turn, there's nothing I can do about it. And, if I'm right then I'll only have 500 Life Points after your barrage is over. Hm, oh well. Only thing I can do is hope that I get a good card on my next draw," Jessie said, closing her eyes. She shook her head slowly. "That cold wave of his really put a damper on things. That Boarden is annoying, but no matter what I draw, his Swords of Revealing Light won't wear off for two more turns. Looks like I lost this one." she thought, a smile on her face.

Menoe sighed in relief. "Wait, what? I've never sighed in relief before.....I blame you, host! Why you, of all the sapiens out there in the universe? Why?! And er, yes, it seems Leo is...is winning. Hurrah for pie....Wait, what, pie? This is so confusing. This time, I blame my major headache....wait, what, major headache?" And then he noticed his major headache and collapsed to his knees again. "This is so cruel of you, spirit of Luck! So cruel!"

" Well they do say Lady Luck is a bit**." Luna said to Menoe. Happy that her brother was winning.

Leo looked at the good side of his barrage. Now he only had to wait for next turn. The morphtronics returned to his sdie after attacking Jessie. " I end my turn. My My lookis like the magnificent Leo has turned the tides on the polite young woman. What will she do next?" Leo said so excited that he started narrating again. Luna facepalmed herself after seeing this again.

Menoe simply twitched. He would never get used to Leo's constant ranting and bragging. "Wasn't five years enough for you to mature, oh so super magnificent Leo? Seriously, can't you seriously just seriously mature seriously for once, seriously?" He could only sigh at the oh so mature person. "Don't you know serious when it's serious, oh so super magnificent Leo? And here I was, thinking you would mature. Another you matured, why couldn't you, you, mature? For real, here."
