"He's getting confident. His Swords of Revealing Light wears off next turn. I wasn't able to activate my trap card because of his Cold Wave, but that wears off at the end of my turn." she thought, her smile giving way to a more serious nature. "I draw!" she said, taking a card from her deck. "Hm, this will be a very useful card. His Boarden's effect will finish me next turn if he does anything like that again. And I have to be worried about his Scopen. I know for a fact that's a Tuner monster. Hopefully he won't Synchro Summon anything for the time being." she thought. Then she smiled a somewhat confident smile. "I tribute my Gravekeeper's Vassal in order to Summon Gravekeeper's Chief(ATK: 1900)! And, with his effect, not only is my Graveyard untouched by the effect of Necrovalley, but I get to Special Summon one "Gravekeeper's" monster from my Graveyard. And, with only one monster in my Graveyard that fits that description, I'm sure I don't need to tell you what it is."

LIFE: 500

Field: Gravekeeper's Guard (DEF: 2400) Gravekeeper's Chief (ATK: 2400) Gravekeeper's Vassal (ATK 1200)

S/T: Necrovalley, 1 Face Down, Dark Room of Nightmare

Hand: 2

Graveyard: 0

As Rui walked to where she had dueled last, she felt utter confusion and a belting headache. She sat down by a wall and tried to take it all in. As she did, she then heard distant footsteps.

"Rui?" called Kris from nearby. "You dropped something~"

Rui stood up and walked towards where she heard Kris, bumping into him and sending their cards flying. "OUCH!" Shouted Kris loudly, feeling pain.

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, Kris!" Rui bowed down and then began picking up their cards, instantaniously able to seperate hers from his. Then she noticed one of hers was missing. "Hey...my Chainsaw Insect! I need that card..."

"You dropped it in my hideout. I thought it best to return it to you." Said Kris after returning his card in exchange for his deck. He then turned around and walked away briskly. Rui felt angry.

"HEY!" She shouted, "You don't just return somethign to someone without letting them thank you, and you don't just take something returned without thanking you either!"

Kris just stopped, not looking back, but muttered;

"Please don't raise your voice. You migth attract the attention of Yliaster spies." He continued walking. "But very well, thank you for returning my cards. But you need not apologise for such a meaningless card."

Yusei, Jack and Crow were watching the duel. Yusei knew that the tables could turn at any moment..... "(Leo.....)" Yusei thought..... "Leo, don't overdo it....." Yusei stated with a worried expression on his face. He observed the field, and by the look on her face, she was planning something..... Jack and Crow noticed the worried expression. And if Yusei had something to be worried about, they had something to be worried about.....

"The Earthbound immortals are level 10. That means2 sacrifices. I just so happen to have three monsters on the field now, and a field spell. That means I have everything I need. Rasca's effect makes it so I have to return a few cards to get him to full power, but that's fine. Not only will his swords wear off at the end of my next turn, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I can win this very soon. I may as well take care of a few things before I call out Rasca, though. If I draw De-Spell next turn, I may actually win this duel."

Leo realized that. Also he realized that the Earthbound Immortals can attack directly and that they themselves cannot be attacked. " My turn I draw. I'm going tp destroy your chances of summoning your Earthbound immortal. I use the heavy storm spell card to destroy all spell and traps on the field. Now before i attack you and win, I also activate the swords of CONCEALING light spell card. It does the same thing technically but instead it flips your cards face-down instead of face-up." leo said as black swords surrounded Jessie's monsters and a skull appeared in the middle of the swords. yet again Leo was proud of the move he made. " Now I will have Morphtronic Boomboxen attack you directly!" Leo said as his boomboxen rushed at Jessie.

"Hm." Jessie smiled. "With Heavy Storm activated, my entire strategy went right out the window. And with only 500 Life Points remaining, any one of those morphtronics could have done it," she thought. The field disappeared. "Of course, as I'm already a Dark Signer, nothing further happens. You are strong, Leo. Your name is not a coincidence. You may have the unremarkable physique of a young man, but you have a heart as strong as any lion, and twice as big. Never forget that." she said, walking toward Leo. "You won. Congratulations," handed him a single fennel and walked out of the shop.

leo took the fennel and shook hands with the nice woman. He watched her go. She was a dark signer but she had a warm glow to her. Like she still held on to her old most likely nice personality. " Thanks Jessie. Hope we could duel again sometime." leo said waving as she walked out the building.

Luna went over and b****-slapped her brother. " LEO WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING! YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK." Luna said hugging her brother. relieved that he wasn't some dark signer freak-o.

"Awesome!.....I'm a ghost, aren't I?" He began waving his hand, but the twins didn't notice him. "Sucks, said I. And goodbye, glad I could somehow be of service...." He himself then walked out the shop. This was too boring. He may have helped the twins, but where was HIS role? He had to do something to affect this plot. ANYTHING. But what could he do? He could do nothing, nothing at all. He might as well kill himself, focus all his anger, and become a Dark Signer. But that was too boring. And he wouldn't be able to eat again. He had never ate in five thousand years, and when his first successful Prothean tasted the delight of food, he simply couldn't throw the desire of delicious food away.

He thought to himself, but there was nothing. He then simply hung around, waiting for something, anything, to do. The duel with Luna took too short, he needed a more significant approach. And then he began focusing on something to do, using his six thousand years of experience as help.
