Itsu yanked Crow and Leo into the state of pseudo-existence to join the other Signers.

"Sorry, but I forgot to grab you two. Mo- I mean, Akiza, would you please bring our friends up to speed?"

Akiza then pulled Leo and Crow off to the side and quietly explained what had happened so far.

"Actually, yes, DJ was highly attuned to the Spirit World, surprisingly for someone whose wealth came from technology. He was incredibly bright, and very cheerful, yet he had a dark past which we will discuss shortly."

She pressed her amulet again, and green light engulfed the scene, until the group arrived at the shoreline of New Domino, though this one was very different. Dark clouds and clear blue sky dotted the skyline, with New Domino proper having more sky, and Satellite containing the dark clouds overhead.

"New Domino, July 9th, 2041. Right in the middle of the Signer War. This, for me, is where it all began. I personally thought that the events of A-Day would be a good place to start, but here is perfectly acceptable."

"Wait. Head back." Phoenix commands the Sacred Phoenix to return to where he saw Leo and Crow.

In just a few minutes Phoenix gets off the Sacred Phoenix and returns it to it's card.

"I know I saw the fifth signer here." Phoenix says in anger. "Wait. I sense the presence of the signers around here!" Phoenix says.

IC: Kalin and Greiger were about to start a Shadow Turbo Duel. Kalin raised his left arm and purple flames of the mark of the giant surrounded them. Max and Annie were terrified. The two started. "My turn!" Kalin declared "I summon! Infernity Guardian in defense mode! Now I set two cards face-down and end my turn!" Kalin declared LP: 4000. "My turn! I summon Trap Reactor Y Fi in defense mode! I end my turn with a face-down!"

"Akiza" watched the duel from afar, surprised at how quickly they managed to get to the Nazca Lines from Japan.

"I sense a shadow duel has begun." Phoenix says, His duel runner appearing beside him.

Phoenix gets on his duel runner and says, "Activate Different Dimension Teleport!"

Instead of being sent to an alternate dimension, Phoenix appears at the Nazca Lines.

"Kalin?! If he summons his Earthbound Immortal, Then those kids could get hurt!" Phoenix says.

 

 

(Yes Phoenix is mostly evil but disagrees with kids getting hurt by earthbound immortals for some reason.)

Luna and Leo hugged at their reunion and they both attuned their ears for more Info about his Kid DJ Kaiba. What kind of secrets could this kid hold? Leo thought to himself. "Itsu what kind of a dark past could this kid have? he seems A-Okay to me." Leo said to her. "Same with me. tell us about how you and DJ met each other. And what importance is he to us." Luna said to her too, countering Leo's question.

It was Kalin's turn. "I sacrifice my Infernity Guardian in order to summon! Infernity Destroyer! Infernity Destroyer will destroy your Reactor!" Kalin declared as the reactor exploded. When the smoke cleared the Trap Reactor was still there and Greiger had a trap "I activate Fake Explosion! Now I Special Summon Summon Reactor - SK in defense mode! It's my turn!" Greiger declared "And I end my turn with a face-down!" Greiger declared. "Ending your turn so soon?!" Kalin asked in a sarcastic tone "I activate my trap! Full Salvo!" Kalin declared. "I don't think so! I activate Trap Reactor's effect! I negate your trap and hit you with 800 points of damage!" Greiger delcared. Kalin LP: 3600 "AAH!" Kalin yelled. "WHAT?! Why did your life points only go down by 400?!" Greiger asked. "Because of this!" Kalin declared as his trap activated "Damage Translation! I only take half effect damage and Special Summon a ghost token!" Kalin explained. "That means!" Greiger stated as the summon reactor dealt more damage to Kalin. "UGH!" Kalin yelled LP: 3200 "I get another token! Now I sacrifice my two ghost tokens in order to summon! My Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand! Now I activate his ability! I summon my Infernity Dwarf! Now I tune my Nightmare Hand to my Dwarf! When the shadows are devoured by even darker shadows! The curtain pulls back and reveals! A world without light! Dark Synchro Summon! Hundred-Eyes Dragon!" [-lvl 8 ATK: 3000] "Now my Dragon will attack your Summon Reactor!" Kalin declared. "NO! I activate his effect! I negate your attack!" Greiger declared. "That means my Destroyer will attack!" Greiger LP: 3700. "AAH!" Greiger yelled.

"Well, our meeting was tomorrow, but we need to discuss what is happening...2 minutes from now! We gotta move!"

Quickly, Itsu levitated the group and they all started to fly towards the poorer parts of the city to where two duelists, one a familiar-looking Dark Signer and the other a woman on a pink and white Duel Runner, being chased by some punks. The Dark Signer summoned Aslla Piscu, and she destroyed the punks, allowing the two to slip into an alley.

Itsu, along with the others landed in the alley just in time to see the rider disappear and the Duel Runner transform into a robot that looked like Akiza.

"Hello." The robot greeted the Dark Signer, who turned out to be Damian.

"Oh...My...Earthbound...God...You're...a...robot...?!" He stuttered, a bit scared. "Now I see where I've heard that voice before...what did you say tyour name was? Er...if you have a name...or do you only have a serial number?"

"My name is Autonomous Kinetic Intelligence Serial Number 24-18-7..." The robot happily greeted, "...but I call myself 'Aki'. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Itsu paused the scene. "Umm...how do I put this lightly...that robot is me. Well, the core portion of me. Trust me, it will make sense later."

Luna and Leo both looked at the robot AKI and at Itsu the young woman. They looked completly different now. Leo did a face-palm and Luna sweat-dropped while looking at the difference between them."How could that thi- i mean robot be you itsu? You look completely different!" Luna exclaimed too her." Whoa! cool...... a robot who miraculously turned into a human to save the world and......" he paused and started up again...."for love with Damian Atlas!" Leo said to them holding his hands up like narrating a story. A habit he stills has but no longer with his duels though.

Itsu chuckled. "Well, if you want to put it that way, yes. A robot, actually a cyborg, and a Dark Signer saving the world. And my journey into this form is a bit lengthy. For starters, I'm not human. Far from it."

She demonstrated so by grabbing her right arm with her left, then she pulled hard, yanking the arm right off, much to the amazement of the Signers. There was no blood, but, on the inside, was some sort of silvery, liquidy material. with a metallic, reinfocred bone-like structure inside. To further emphasize her disonenction with humanity, she flexed her hand, which was still able to move without being connected to the rest of the arm.

"I am actually a colony of tiny little machines called nanites, also known as nanobots of 'nannies', as we call them back home. Have you ever studied the Portuguese Man-of-War? It's an animal that is compsoed of thousands of smaller animals inside of it. My body is very similar. I have the nanites, which function as muscles and a protective coating, keeping my inner body and the organs inside of me safe, while my brain is connected to this hyperskeleton, which regulates the nanites and acts as an extra reinforcing."

She then handed the severed arm to Luna, at which point it gave her a thumbs-up.

"But guys, I'm perfectly fine! I didn't feel a thing!"

IC: "Hmph. Seems like Kalin won't use his Earthbound Immortal after all. Different Dimension Teleport." Phoenix says, As he and his duel runner teleport back to where he saw Crow and Leo at, But somehow back in time so when the signers leave the side dimension, He can duel one of them.

((Actually, the concept of nanites has been around for decades, and is nothing new in science fiction. Even Star Trek has used them in a few episodes!))

 

Itsu took back her arm, and continued, changing the scenery as they literally flew through the day and night. "Damian and I quickly bonded, and we became friends, until one day during the war, Damian and I confronted a Sky Signer, a member of an order of duelists who used a series of cards called 'Skybound Immortals', based off of the constellations."

They landed in Satellite, this time the next day, with Damian dueling a mysterious man, but what really got their attention was the broken and depressed AKI nearby, black tears streaming from her optical ports as she slowly rusted. Itsu was also crying at remembering the memories of this event.

"Damian, he wanted to duel ths Sky Signer, but I wanted to help him. But...he wanted to go alone, and shoved me against that wall. I begged and pleaded for him to let me help him, but he wouldn't listen. I cried oil until I started to rapidly rust. This moment...this is the point that I decided that the battle between these two had to end. That the Signers had to stop fighting. That the wrongs that both sides were doing must be righted."

"This is the point where I stopped blindly following Damian and decided to transform him from a naive young Dark Signer into my hero."

Rui realised she had somehow fallen asleep since the duel beween "Akiza" and Kiryu ha0d finished. "Oh bugger," she muttered before taking out a small device and looking at the monitot. "Right...They managed to get to the Nazca lines this quickly? Such a shame...And I didn't get the chance to congratulate the reborn Kiryu either...Well, I guess I should make my own move."

 

Rui sped off through the shadows to find a Helicopter she had had left nearby, which she then used to fly to the lines herself. "And if there's a duel going on between any other old Dark Signers that I'm not aware of, the Dark Signer initiating the duel will have me to answer to!"

Menoe was accidentally brought along with Itsu and the others unintentionally, while he was still knocked unconscious by Akiza's excess punching. Nobody took notice of him lying there, unconscious, and after a while, he woke up, and then he decided to talk, after a while of Itsu's history lesson, ignoring the huge amounts of pain Akiza gave him from the excess amount of punching. "Yes, thank you for the history lesson, Itsu. But aren't you forgetting about the attack on the leader of the Dark Signers, Zarkus, led by another Dark Signer, Saizen, who had forcefully gained control of both Skybound and Earthbound? But of course, Zarkus won. Seriously, Itsu... but I suppose that's unrelated to your own history, I suppose. I just hate it when my favorite parts are left out of the story." He said. "I once knew a Sky Signer that defected, but I have no idea where he went after he abandoned that flying fortress."

IC: "My turn!" Greiger declared "I summon Spell Reactor - RE!" [lvl 3 DEF: 900] "I end my turn!" Greiger declared "My turn!" Kalin declared "It's the end for you Greiger! I sacrifice my Hundred-Eyes Dragon and Imfernity Destroyer! I summon! Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu!" Kalin declared as the giant-fist looking thing appeared in the sky. Max and Annie got sucked into it. "No! Max! Annie!" Greiger yelled as the giant appeared. "Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu! Attack him directly! And without your Summon Reactor to stop this! You're just one attack away from being destroyed!" Kalin declared with a sinister smirk. Greiger LP: 700 "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Greiger cried out.

Itsu turned back to Menoe. "Actually, I was going to go in chronological order, but thanks you anyways." But Akiza noticed the guy from before. "Hey! You're that thief from earlier!"

"What thief? That's a Prothean."

"A WHAT?!?"

"A good friend of mine, Protheus, was divided into many, many pieces, which are scattered throughout the multiverse. They all managed to find a host and changed them, each individual piece connected to the others. Don't worry. He's mostly harmless."

"Mostly?!?"

DJ Kaiba came along and took AKI away while they were arguing.

Luna stepped between them. "Akiza calm down is this guy even worth it?" She then looked at the empty space AKI was in and saw them and the boy DJ running off with her. " And look while you were having a row AKI ran off with DJ!" Luna said. Leo then stepped up to them. " What the hell are we doing here for then! Lets chase them and see where they are going, Itsu lets go!" Leo said rallying them. He pointed to where they were running off too.

The Helicopter with Rui in it landed not far from the duel between Kiryu and Greiger. When she got out and looked at the duel.

"I really should have known this was to be the case...Still, I'm guessing Greiger will become a Dark Signer if he loses, so unless Kiryu loses, I have no reason to kill the guy..." Revealign herself, she then stepped forward and shouted out to Kiryu; "You don't know me, Kiryu but listen; if you lose I will personally send you back to Hell!"

 

She realised she sounded so stupid to threaten someone who didn't know her, but she quickly remedied the problem; "I'll explain later, now WIN THAT DUEL!"

"Akiza" pulled up alongside Rui, and sat back in her Duel Runner, smiling. "Don't worry. He'll win. I managed to defeat Kiryu because he gave into his darkness. Grieger will do the same. Now, do you have any orders for me, boss?"

 

Itsu took the others with her to another part of Satellite, where a repaired, but still damaged, AKI was dueling in a Shadow Duel.

"After I was repaired by DJ, I realized what I needed to do, so I entered a Shadow Duel with Zarkus at my side."

Rui turned and smiled at "Akiza". She then paused for thought.

"Well, 'Akiza', I wanted to congratulate you on that first, and also..." Rui winced in pain slightly as her dark mark shone brightly and burned her. "ACK! This thing is so incredibly painful...But if all goes to plan then I should no longer suffer from this accursed artificial god..."

 

She quickly resumed her stance, before looking into "Akiza"s eyes. "Now, for our next step, we need souls...Lots of them. The stronger they are, the less we need. I want you to find one of the most heavily populated-yet-not-well-known place, and gather as many as possible..." Rui trailed off in thought, looking back at Kiryu.

If this works...no...WHEN this works...Saiku Kurumai will finally stop harming me and both our wishes will be reality...

"Akiza" looked at Rui with a raised eyebrow. She then knelt down to Rui. "My liege, from what I have been able to gleen, a certain model-cum-actress is about to finish filming of her latest work today. I can 'fly' up to Hollywood and subvert her to the good cause, and maybe harvest some tarnished souls while I'm at it."

Rui sensed some unease in her underling, but dismissed the thought. "That sounds fine, as longs as you can keep things quiet for now it's perfect." She said, giving an evil smile. Rui then walked over to her Helicopter. "If you want, 'Akiza', I can lend you my Helicopter for a journey to the nereast airport, where you can get faster transport. I still need to continue my plans." Rui smiled properly again before returning to her original spot. My plan needs to be ironed of all flaws...

"Akiza" commanded the helicopter to take off a bit, then she hooked her Duel Runner on the clamps on the bottom. The helicopter lowered a ladder, and "Akiza" hopped on. "Umm...yeah. 'Quiet'. Sure." The helicopter, with "Akiza" hanging on the ladder, flew away.

 

The next day, not only did the news report a commercial airliner crashing into the Hollywood sign, but a mysterious, tree-shaped symbol engulfed the Beverly Hills area, comsuming thousands of the richest people on the planet, including some of the most well-known stars.

Leo observed the duel. She noticed AKI. "Who is AKI and Zarkus dueling Itsu?" Leo asked her. Luna looked at Zarkus he looked like a dark signer if their ever was one. He was dark and his eyes were black. AKI disk was connected to her arm. Luna could also make out her duel runner features too. "Yeah. Who is AKI and Zarkus dueling?" Luna added. They wanted too know mainly because they were in the shadows and they only saw AKI and Zarkus mentioned where they were. Maybe because she has Robo vision? Leo asked him self.

The other duelists stepped out of the shadows to reveal some guy and...DJ?!?

"I don't remember who the other duelist was, but DJ was one of our opponents in this tag duel."

Just then, DJ sent out a major attack that hit AKI dead-on, causing her to fizz and spark. Akiza gasped as the robot slumped over, seemingly dead.

Damian and DJ rushed over to her and tried to open the robot's chest cavity, which they succeeded in doing, only for the insides to be turned into black goo. Damian was shellshocked, and drifted out of the structure they were currently in, along with DJ, only for Zarkus to sneak over and investigate the dead body.
