Rui did indeed not fall for such an atmospheric trick. She activated her Duel Disk and drew 5 cards herself.

"I hope you realise I am not losing, and this Immortal will never leave me without either me dying or the ritual being performed..." she trailed off when she realised she was giving off too much information. She drew a card. "Anyway, my turn!" Rui studied her hand for a few moments, then played her cards;

"First I summon my Chainsaw Insect, then I activate my Field Spell Forest, followed by me setting two face down cards! I end."

 

The huge, chainsaw-wielding beetle appeared in a tornado of darkness, the forest sprouted and grew quickly around the two, making the insect more powerful. finally, two cards appeared by Rui's feet.

"Hm, no problem." Lavoc drew his cards then set one monster face down and set two cars Face Down, "Next I'll activate my Infernity Valley field spell, with it I can send my entire hand to the graveyard and deal you 300 points of damage for each card sent." When he activated his spell the field turned into a waist land and then two pillars of flame erupted from the ground dealing 600 points of damage. "And with that I end my turn."

Rui winced in pain as the flames engulfed her. When they stopped, she noticed her beautiful blonde highlights in her silver hair were now blackened form being singed.

"Oh, you'll pay for that..." She muttered under her breath. Secretly, however, she thought to herself, Why did that hurt AND harm me...? I never intentionally used my powers to make this a shadow game... As if in response, her mark glowed on its own, slightly expanding once more. "No...you didn't!!! How could you?!" Rui screamed her thoughts out loud. Regardless, she drew a card.

"Something gave me the feeling you had an Infernity Deck - it's in the eyes. Guess I should be careful. I summon my Repeat Manntis!"

 

A human-sized mantis appeared, with an odd circular arrow on its claws. Suddenly the two monsters jumped into the air and turned into rings and stars.

"I tune my monsters together!" As she said this, Rui crossed her arms over her chest and chanted; "Insects born with the strongest of Exo-Skeletons! Sting your foes with acid!" A huge balck light appeared in place of the rings, and then a heavily-armoured giant red appeared, with swords for pincers and sythes for legs. "Synchro summon! Fortress Ant!!"

 

The Ant roared before settling down. Rui then activated the two face down cards she had;

"DNA surgery and Insect barrier! For the surgery I naturally choose Insect. Now, I attack with my Ant! Go! ACIDIC SHOT!"

As your attack comes my face down monster is flipped up, "Unfortunately my face down monster is Infernity Guardian, and because I have no cards in my hand he's indestructible, not that I needed it." As the Acid Sprayed my monster it breathed fire that pushed through to Acid and hit you turning your 3400 Life Points to 3100. "Attacking quite blindly aren't you," Lavoc kept his expression as the woman's own power came back to bite her.

Rui groaned. "Well at least now I can prepare." She then laughed and place another card face down. As she did, she suddenly felt her Earthbound communicating with her in response to the similarities in strategy between this opponent and Kiryu.

Yes...I realise that...Right, greed is best in all situations...Watch out for that? Yikes...I almost forgot that Infernity card... Rui then lowered her Duel Disk.

The gunman attacked your monster twice twice then you directly, "So that's all a fake has huh."

If that won't get you to talk to me, Then activate spell card. Different dimension teleport!" Phoenix says, The card sending the signers and Phoenix to an alternate dimension. "Hmph." Phoenix says, the background of the alternate dimension changing to show that Kalin and Greiger have just summmoned there earthbound immortals. "Now will you pay attention to what I just told you?!"

Itsu stopped Pheonix from his interdimensional interference, then teleported him in front of her, preventing him from moving.

"Let me just get something straight. You do not use your petty parlor tricks around someone that can, and will, manipulate the space-time continuum at will. I can just as easily go back in time and erase you from existence by separating your parents, but I'm not like that. However, I can be pushed to that extreme."

Before Pheonix could react, any cards he had on him were gone, and Itsu was holding his Deck in her hand.

"Once I'm done with Max, you and I are going to have some fun."

She then placed Pheonix in a 10-foot-by-10-foot-by-10-foot cubic pocket dimension made of a glowing white material.

"But fine. It'll be fun to duel someone in relation to a signer." Phoenix says as, A deck appears in his hand along with a duel drone.

"Another one of my powers. I can pull things out of alternate dimensions. Or from the past. This Duel Drone? Programmed to use Seto Kaiba's deck without Obelisk or Critias. This deck I have in my hand? An exact copy of Yugi's deck without Timaeus or The Egyptian Gods." "So, Mind if I duel this Drone?" Phoenix asks.

(dark synchro rules. 2700 atk 2800 def basicaly, if i pay 500 lp then i clear the field and the owner of every card that was destroyed takes 500 damage for it and when he's destroyed by his own effect i don't take damage and when he's destroyed by an effect he comes back after three turns i can pay 1000 lp and sacrafice this card and vuala! Inside the pocket dimension, Phoenix senses the presence of an earthbound immortal being summoned. "No! The earthbound immortal presence is so close Itsu must be the one dueling whoever summoned it! If Itsu loses...I'll be stuck here forever!" Phoenix says. "I have to get out of here but how would I do th-" Phoenix is cut short as the deck in his hand glows, and a duel spirit appears infront of him. "Who are you?!" Phoenix asks/yells at the duel spirit. "I am The Blue Eyes White Knight." The duel spirit says. "You may call me Dragon." The duel spirit says. "Ok "Dragon". Why did you appear before me? Why not one of the signers?" Phoenix asks "Dragon". "Because. I have come to help you." "Dragon" says. "I have, As you have also, Sensed a Earthbound Immortal being summoned." "Dragon" says. "Ok, That I understand. All I know for sure is that this girl, Itsu is her name. Sent me to this Pocket dimension after I tried to send myself and the signers to an alternate dimension. And that she's dueling someone who's summoned an Earthbound immortal. If she loses this duel, I'll be stuck here forever." Phoenix tells "Dragon".

 

The " around the word dragon means Phoenix doesnt trust him. The " should be gone when Phoenix is out of the dimension.

And since this turn I get my fourth Speed Counter, I activate the effect of Speed World 2! You take 800 points or damage for each Speed Spell in my hand! I have two!" Yusei declared. Kalin LP: 3200 "AAAH!" Kalin cried out. "What! Why did you only take half the damage!?" Yusei asked. "Because of my trap! Damage Translation! And since I'd take two blows of 800, I get two Ghost Tokens!" Kalin declared as the two tokens appeared on his field. "I set a card face-down and end my turn!" Yusei declared, two cards left in his hand while Kalin had three.

 

-Crow and Greiger's Duel-

 

A few turns have passed, Crow was down to his final turn with three face-downs and Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite in defense mode. Crow LP: 1100. Greiger LP: 3000 "My turn Greiger!" Crow declared "(Okay Crow, this is your last chance at a comeback....)" Crow thought as he drew his card "I activate my trap! Blackwing - Bombardment! I sacrifice my Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite! And my Black-Winged Dragon gains attack points equal to its!" [ATK: 2800 -> 4400] "Now! I return my face-down to my hand and bring back my Zephyros the Elite!" Crow declared as Black-Winged Dragon lost another 400 attack points, Crow then set the card back and Zephyros the Elite was destroyed. Crow repeated this process several times until Black-Winged Dragon had 0 attack points. "I activate Black-Winged Dragon's special effect! Now his attack points return to 4400! And your monster loses all its!" Crow declared [2900 -> 0] "Now I activate my new trap! Skill Drain!" Crow LP: 100 "Now our monsters' effects are negated! But since I activated mine's effect BEFORE Skill Drain, it still goes through! Now! Black-Winged Dragon! Take down that Earthbound Immortal!" Crow declared. Greiger LP: 3000 -> 0 "Noooooo!" Greiger cried out as he span out of control and crashed. "Greiger!" Crow yelled as he sped over to Greiger. Greiger was covered in rubble "C-Crow..... this time, things were different. I had no control of myself...... this is more than just the return of the Dark Signers." Greiger explained. "What?!" Crow asked. "It's the return of the King of the Netherworld..... and moooore." Greiger explained before turning to dust. "Greiger!" Crow yelled as the Whale mark disappeared.

Yusei and Kalin's duel was getting intense. Kalin had Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu while Yusei had Stardust Dragon, Depth Amulet was destroyed last turn. Yusei LP: 1000, Kalin LP: 3200. "My turn Kalin!" Yusei declared "I summon! Majestic Dragon! Now I Special Summon! Turbo Booster! Now I tune my level one, Majestic Dragon! With my level eight Stardust Dragon and level one Turbo Booster! I Synchro Summon! Majestic Star Dragon!" Yusei declared as he (as always) somehow ended up on the Majestic Star Dragon. "Now I activate Majestic Star Dragon's effect! Now I cancel your monster's effects! And I can use them against you!" Yusei declared "Majestic Star Dragon! Attack Kalin directly!" Yusei declared as Majestic Star Dragon burst through Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu and left a gaping hole in it before attacking Kalin. Yusei got off of the Majestic Star Dragon and ran over to Kalin. "Yusei..... I-I had no control of myself...... I tried to brake free of the King of the Netherworld's control..... but..... it was too strong." Kalin explained. "What?! The King of the Netherworld is returning?!" Yusei asked. "Yes..... more than that has returned....." Kalin stated. "What?" Yusei asked. "Yusei..... I'm sooooooooryyyyyyyy." Kalin stated before turning into dust. Yusei raised his fist into the air "KALIN!" he yelled, his voice echoing around as the Giant mark disappeared.

Lavoc look over to see that two of the dark signers had fallen, one of them being Kalin. "At least he was able to find peace at the end," Lavoc then looked back at his opponent with a hint of rage in his eyes, he tried to calm himself down but it was difficult seeing as his mentor had just vanished into the darkness. "So, do you think you can make your turn or what," Lavoc was obviously upset but whether this would hurt or help him was unknown.

"Did I really laugh like that back in our dimension?" Menoe had to ask. "I must swear he just went cookoo. Who in their right mind doesn't know when to do a traditional evil laugh and when not to, even when all odds are against him, and he honestly doesn't have a single possible way of comeback?" He paused for a moment to process Itsu's words. "Even if it's a Dark Signer, you really do have to respect your opponents. What you did just there was very unfair, even for me. And I've killed quadrillions of people. Oh and by the way, someone very important just died, but I don't know who."

 

Kris paused for a moment. A fellow Dark Signer had just gone. "Kalin...." She muttered. She was back in her computer room, watching events in it. She couldn't take any more, she had just began to admire Kalin....but he was now gone, and gone forever-after. She left the computer room and stormed off in anger and fear, heading to where Max and Itsu was. If she stayed in her computer room, more would be lost. If she let this continue, more would be lost. She got onto her Duel Runner and began driving as fast as possible on it, before another one is lost towards where Max was.

"Two dark signers have just fallen." Phoenix says. "These dark signers. You seem to be one of them. Are they your friends?" Dragon asks. 'No. I work alone. Infact. I don't even like shadow duels. Normally the loser of the duel against a dark signer would lose there soul. " Phoenix says. "I see." Dragon says, A duel disk appearing on his arm. "Shall we duel? I have looked into your mind and found you only joined the dark signers for power. I can give you that power. Without you starting shadow duels when you duel. But only if you beat me. Otherwise, I become your partner inside this." Dragon says, Showing Phoenix a strange dragon shaped necklace. "Fine. Let's duel." Phoenix says, A duel disk with a deck already in it appearing on his arm.

 

 

(Yes Phoenix now trusts Dragon and he is going to duel dragon to probably get free of the control of the dark signers. or maybe dragon will give him control over shadow duels. only I know.)

Leo was still watching his sister in her coma from the power released from the summons of three earthbound immortals. Leo guessed that his sister was in the spirit world. Hopefully Devack's monkey Zeman the Ape King wasn't back there. Leo did NOT want to verse Devack by himself. It was painful enough the first time. He even has scars from it. But hopefully his sister was safe with Ancient Fairy Dragon and the other spirits like Regulus.

 

The Spirit World

 

Luna woke up in the ancient forest. She appeared to be in one of the parts where Edo, The professor's evil monster attacked her, and where Sunlight unicorn her monster saved her and took her to where Ancient Fairy Dragon used to be imprisoned. Just then a white lion appeared out of the shadows and ackled her giving her licks and laughing out her. "Regulus!" Luna cried over joyed to see her friend again.

Menoe noticed Leo's fear and concern. Which gave him an idea. Menoe left Itsu on her own and walked into a place where he wouldn't be noticed. He then sat in a cross-like position. The attraction to the spirit world is stronger the younger you are, they always say.

”Zalathuso Anicionte Foraste, Sperateal Warlde, gorante thee akkusess toh yo re divine warlde....” He muttered. He had to keep repeating it for a little while. ”Zalathuso Anicionte Foraste, Sperateal Warlde, gorante thee akkusess toh yo re divine warlde....Zalathuso Anicionte Foraste, Sperateal Warlde, gorante thee akkusess toh yo re divine warlde....” And then he fainted.

 

It sucked that he couldn't travel through dimensions this way. He landed somewhere, probably a forest. He felt like he had a headache. He forgot that pure evil spirits and pure good worlds don't really work side-by-side. He collapsed inside the Spirit World, his will weakened before he could do anything.

"I'll start with Kaibaman!" Phoenix says. (200/700) "Now do you know why I summoned him in attack mode?!" Phoenix asks. "No." Dragon says. "This is why! I release Kaibaman...IN ORDER TO SUMMON THE BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!" Phoenix yells. (3000/2500) Phoenix hand: 4

"Now I play double summon. To summon a second Kaibaman in defense mode!" Phoenix says. (200/700) "Now. I end my turn." Phoenix says.

Jessie watched as Luna fainted. She noticed that Leo was concerned. "Tell me, young man, does that girl do this often? It seems to me she's over reacting just a bit." she said calmly. It was obvious from her tone of voice that she was more bored than concerned. She looked out in the general direction of the duels. "Perhaps I should help out. Then again, there's no way for me to possibly do that."

Leo looked at Jessie liked he just been slapped in the face. "YOU THINK SHE IS FAKING THIS! Luna senses duel spirits and when powerful evil ones like the Earthbound immortals are summoned it hurts her. so three of them being summoned at once causes her to faint. She is most likely in the spirit world now." Leo said to the woman who may or may not care. Leo explained this quickly without telling Jessie that Luna was a signer and has Ancient Fairy dragon in her deck.

The Sprit World

 

Luna saw Menoe how he landed and faint. She rushed over to him. she placed her hand on his chest and her signer mark glowed. Then a sphere of light went into him causing him to wake up. " Who are you and what are you doing in the spirit world?" Luna asked him. he seemed confused so she decided to offer him a deal. "Wanna duel? If you win I'll tell you how I got here and what I'm doing here. If i win you do the same. deal?" she asked him.

Kryos' head ached as he groaned. "Ugh... Where am I?" he muttered to himself. He glanced around, seeing if anyone could help him. He collapsed once more, but this time still conscious. Horribly, he was living it again.

 

Pain... The first feeling he had felt after arriving here. He noticed that the area he was in seemed like a ruined city. He shook his head... Then warmth spread through his body, and he could see a burning mark on his left forearm. He pulled away his sleeve. It was... "A dragon? No... It's a horse... and a lion? Wait a minute... that's not a horse, that's a pegasus!" His pockets started vibrating. "What's going on?!" he yelped. Then, the warmth grew to a dangerous level and his arm burned crazily and uncontrollably. Then, an urge to jump back clouded his mind, no thoughts but that. And he did as his urge said. An enormous spurt of purple flares erupted out of nowhere. Kryos fell to his knees, watching nervously, petrified. When the flames faded away, a hooded man stood there. He wore a large cloak that covered all his body except his hands. He pulled back his hood and Kryos flinched, crawling back instinctively. His eyes were purple and silver and his hair was silver and looked like flames. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? A little boy in our territory," he sneered. Kryos was absolutely clueless. "Territory? Where am I?"

 

"Really? I guess you're not from around here if you really don't know who I am... I am a supporter of the dark signers. My name is not important. We harness the power of negative Ener-D, energy from dueling... Bah! Why am I even telling you this? I'll just take you with me for sacrifices to the Earthbound Immortals!"

 

"Sacrifice? No way! I'm out of here!" The man sneered again. He held out a duel monsters card. It was... "A web? How are you going to stop me with that?" Kryos laughed. The man smirked insolently. "I'll show you how. Go, Spider Web!" He held it out and it faded into purple orbs. The orbs also faded away and in their place were enormous violet crystal pillars. Kryos was entangled. "I can't move!"

 

"Precisely, now you are easy prey," the man said. He walked towards Kay, when the lion on Kryos' arms burned more than the other 2. Then a duel spirit, a lion with a red aura surrounding it, slashed through the webs and breathed flames on... Kryos. The flames enveloped him, but curiously, he felt no pain. But after a while, he became unconscious and the flames died away. The odd thing was... no one was in there.

 

Kryos panted and sighed, getting up. Once more, he looked around. He saw a man that looked similar to the person he had remembered, but not quite. He had turned into dust, as, Kryos guessed, he lost a duel. A man about the same age as him jumped off a sparkling dragon. Maybe he can tell me where I am?, he thought, walking towards him.
