Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Signers vs The Ultimate Enemy [Started/Accepting via OOC]

Rui looked on in disbelief as she had lost. the field vanished and so too did the Geoglyph, however something was wrong. She felt her mark finally give another burst.

"AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!! IT BURNS! IT BURNS!!!" Grabbing her chest, Rui ran towards Lavoc. "YOU! YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS!! I--" before continuing, she fell to the floor. Unlike her fallen comrade, though, she didn't crumble into dust. After fainting, she whimpered and her mark seemed to fade away.

Lavoc looked over at his fallen opponent realizing that like the others she had been the leader and he hoped that with this the others could return to normal, his only concern is if she was under the control of an Earthbound Immortal or if she had been controlling him. "Hopefully this has ended things," Lavoc walked over to a wall and then dropped down leaning against it. "Well that was easier than my last shadow duel at least."

"Earthbound Immortals are powerful, yes, that much is true. Though, evil? Young man, I wield an Immortal myself," at which point, she revealed her geoglyph to him. "I can tell you, they are a lot of things, but not Evil." She allowed her sleeve to fall over it. "On the contrary, what I am doing, I am doing to help the world. I am helping children who would otherwise be being abused!" she said, and her voice conveyed the message that she genuinely believed her words.

" Thats what the sky signers said..... or will say i guess. But look at them DJ Kaiba's life from what i heard was completley destroyed by the earthbound immortals. Or will be destroyed." leo said to Jessie brushing his sister's hair waiting for her return. He wasn't a signer like Luna be he would protect her no matter what. He would protect her like their parents couldn't. Luna would not get hurt in his care. Or at least not majorly.

Yusei and Crow arrived back at Poppo Time. "Yusei! Crow!" Jack stated. "Jack...." Crow stated. "The King of the Netherworld is returning...." Yusei stated. "What!?" Jack asked. "It's not just that...." Crow added. "More has returned..... but neither Kalin or Greiger told either one of us." Yusei continued. "Whatever it is, I don't like the sound of it." Crow added. "We need to prepare! But first things first! Defeating the Dark Signers for a second time!" Jack stated.

After a few minutes, Rui opened her eyes. She looked around in a dazed state.

"Argh...my arm is hurting so much..." she groaned. Then, she saw Lavoc nearby, and panicked. "AAAAAAH!!! Are you the one who attacked me?!" she coward behind a nearby bin. All of Rui's memories since her death were gone, and the last thing she could remember was being attacked on that night...

Rui was on the run. She had just lost her title as national champion of Japan and was now on an assasination list belonging to her opponent on that day. Now trying to flee the country, Rui was rushing through the dark streets of what is now south Neo Domino. "No...Why me?! Why did this happen to me?!" She cried out. The airport was in sight, and Rui felt a sigh of relief - but it was cut short by a sharp, blinding pain in her back. Rui screamed as she fell to the floor, a large stab wound in her back. Her attackers laughed before continuing to harm her, through alternatives such as kicks. Finally, they left Rui for dead in the alleyway, bleeding to death.

 

Everything in Rui's mind from that point became fuzzy, but she suddenly screamed when she thought she saw a preying mantis attack her in her mind.

"I want to go home..." she whimpered sheepishly.

Menoe woke up but still had a constant headache from all the pureness of this world. He stared at this world. It was much different from last time, in the other dimension. To think he had destroyed five versions of this, it was almost unbearable to think.

"OK, fine then, deal." He said. He couldn't believe he was doing this. "Just as you said, 'if you win, I'll tell you how I got here and what I'm doing here. But if I win you should do the same.'" He paused for a moment. He then got up, trying to block all the pureness of the world. His Duel Disk then responded to him by activating. "I'm never going to be used to going first, so you go first. Duel!"

Rui then thought to herself about her assailants, but due to the legnth of time that had passed since her attack all sorts of memories (which should have been lostt) were now corrupting her own. Lavoc, despite having only just met Rui, was now her main attacker in her mind, with 'Akiza' in the group as well. Another, strange-looking man was in the group as well, but somehow Rui knew that these couldn't be accurate anymore.

"Okay then." Luna said activating her duel disk. "My turn i draw. I then activate the field spell known as Twilight Forest. I then summon Sunlight unicorn in attack mode. I lay two facedowns and end my turn." Luna thought this was a good move on her part that way she would have a field spell for ancient Fairy dragon and a power up for most of her deck. Which mostly consisted of fairy, beast and a couple of other types of monsters.

Lavoc looked at the girl, "What are you talking about, the one dueling the attacking was you and your Earthbound Immortal don't tell me you forgot all the things you did with it." Lavoc wasn't sure if the girl was lying or if she really wasn't aware of what she had done, "Okay, I'll explain, at some point you died and were brought back by an Earthbound Immortal that made you do its bidding, after I beat you you passed out and it looks like your mark is gone which is weird cuz normally when a Dark Signer looses the turn to dust." Lavoc seemed like he could pass out at any moment.

"I...died...?" Muttered Rui, now even more confused. "That's completely impossible!! No one can come back to life if they die, and I haven't died once!! You must be my attacker! THere's no doubt!! And what's this stuff about 'Earthbound Immort-whatevers' and these Dark Signer thingimabobs?!" Rui gained courage and stood on her feet. At this point it was nitcieable that her darksigner clothes and duel disk were replaced with her regular ones, ableit tattered and worn.

 

There was something in her eyes which showed complete and honest innocence.

"I draw!" Dragon says/ Playing a monster in facedown defense mode and ending his turn.

"My move!" Phoenix says. "I-I don't believe it! This deck can't have this card! There's only one of it and it was destroyed years ago!" Phoenix says. "Ah. Yes, That card was ressurected by me for your new deck." Dragon says. "Oh. Ok." Phoenix says. "I play a card so powerful it had to be destroyed thounsands of years ago. I play...THE FIELD SPELL SEAL OF LIGHT!" Phoenix says.

"You have won. Now, As I promised. Removal of darkness!!" Dragon says, Phoenix losing his dark signer mark. "Thank you Dragon. I have realised that I should not work with the dark signers but rather the signers. Would you like to join me on my quest to stop the Dark Signers?" Phoenix asks. "Yes. Yes I would." Dragon says, Entering becoming a Blue eyes shaped necklace around Phoenix's neck.

"You don't get it, do you? What I'm saying is true, you have to believe me." she looked at the floor with closed eyes, her hand forming a fist over her heart, "I don't remember my life before I got this mark, but I do know that I made a vow to never become the person who would hurt people for no reason. A vow that I would stop those people!" she looked at him, eyes open, and slashed her open palm, palm down, over the floor. "We-the ones you call the Dark Signers-are trying to help this world,and all the children in it! The evil ones are those who are trying to stop us from accomplishing such a noble goal as that! Please, you have to help us. I know you care, so please, join us." she said, holding out a hand to take his.

"Activate spell card Seal Of Light! Free me from this prison of darkness and release me into the light!" Phoenix says, but the card doesn't activate.

"Gr. I can't get my power to work!" Phoenix says in anger. 'Perhaps it is this dimension we are in?" Dragon says. "Maybe. Hey, Think you can help me out?" Phoenix asks. "Yes. You wish to use my power I assume?" Dragon asks. "Yeah." Phoenix says. Dragon tranfers his power to Phoenix. "Let's try this one more time. Activate spell card, Seal Of Light! Free me from this prison of shadows and release me into the light and pureness of the SIGNERS!" Phoenix yells, As he is surronded by a seal of light, Which allos him to atleast see what is going on with the signers. "A dark signer is trying to make that signer's twin brother. Leo, Was it? Join her." Phoenix says.

While Rui was still in a state on confusion, not far in Neo Domino, a man was running through the streets, trying to avoid attention hwoever failing spectacularly. As he continued running he passed many various sites but had no time to stop. Eventually he looked back and knew he was still being tailed.

"Damn these strict members of Yliaster!" Cursed Kris, "They're still following me even though I've been running for miles...!" He thought to himself suddenly as he began losing hope;

There's no chance I can escape...Being in Yliaster for my whole life I of all people should know they control everything...But until I can get ym emotions in order... He continued, running past and pushing over Lavoc as he passed them.

Menoe drew his card and stared at his opponent. He then took out a card in his hand and activated it. "I activate Double Summon. This allows me to normal summon an extra monster during my turn. So I normal summon Gennisi Knight and Gennisi Snake!" Immediately, a knight in white armor and a white snake appeared from nowhere. "Now it's time! Back when Quetzalcoatl was still young, you were as old as the stars above. Now I shall release one of your bonds for your head to take appearance and see the light of the world again. Synchro Summon! Ancient Gennisi Dragon!" A white dragon appeared from nowhere. It had six feathered wings and a white crown-like thing that was actually part of it's body. "Now then, attack Sunlight Unicorn!"

"I activate the trap known as Magic cylinder. Which means you take 3000 points of damage. each one for your monsters attack points." Luna said to him as two cylinders rose up from the ground. One to absorb the attack on Luna the other to rebound the attack back to Menoe.

Poppo Time

Leo looked up at the woman. Well they do have a convincing point. well maybe they do have a reason to fight. I've always wanted a power like Luna. Maybe they can help me. Leo thought to himself. he took the woman's hand. " i'll be able to control myself right?" Leo asked her.

Menoe raised his hand in protection as the blast came back to him. He then simply stared at Luna again, before taking two cards from his hand and inserting them into his spell and trap zone.

"You mean 3000, not 300, by the way. I set two cards...." He said, but drifted off. He seemed disturbed for a few seconds but then regained his cool. ".....and end my turn."

 

Kris remained on her D-Wheel. It didn't help that she was very far. But it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. And then, she was almost at Poppo Time.

"Okay. My turn I draw.I summon Twilight Unicorn. Which from Twilight Forest gains 500 attack points. I then tune both my unicorns together to synchro summon Twilight Dragon! When the sun begins to set the colors begin merge! Synchro summon Twilight dragon! I then activate hammer shot from my hand that destroys the monster with the highest attack points on your side of the field which in that case means your dragon." Luna says to him.

"Activate Trap Card, Life and Power. By paying 500 life points, I can increase my monster's attack by 500 points. The attack of Ancient Gennisi Dragon is now 3500, enough to overpower your monster....." Menoe said as the attack came to his dragon.

And then a card flipped up. Only for it to be covered by electricity and go back down.

"It seems I am mistaken.....Continue your assault then."

Luna looked at her options. She was going to attack him of course but what if it was a trap? Well I got my face-down card of course so I guess I could precede with my attack. " Now I activate Twilight Forest's effect. That means by halving my monsters attack points I can attack you directly. Also since you can't activate any spell or traps when I attack I guess this is goodbye for you. Attack Twilight Dragon with Sunset Burst!" Luna said. if this attack goes through Menoe would lose the duel by taking 1550 points of damage. Since Magic Cylinder already dealt 3000 he would surely lose. If the attack went through.

"Akiza" watched the unfolding battle with scorn, now with Rui back to normal and several of the original group gone, the battle was in the Signers' favor. She thought to herself.

Misty walked up to "Akiza".

"What do we do now?" Misty asked.

"We fall back and regroup with the rest of the Alliance."

"And those of us that are engaged?"

Akiza turned on her heel and walked to the rooftop door.

"They made their choice to fight. Let them fight their way out of this."

Akiza, Misty, and Devack left the rooftop and proceeded to drive back to Satellite. No one was aware that they had even left the field, or that "Akiza" had been there to begin with.

"Well i guess i win." Luna said as the duel faded away. She helped Menoe up and sat him on a tree. She sat next to him. "okay who are you and what are you doing here?" Luna asked him. She got ready to threaten him if he tried anything. She controlled stuff here. She also had tons of frineds here. Which reminded her of movie call 'The princess and the Des frog' where the spellcaster sung a song about having friends on the other side. For him it waas Voodoo. But for Luna it was her card spirits.

"Gah. The portal isn't big enough!" Phoenix yells in anger, The portal he made with Seal Of Light almost big enough for him to crawl through out of the side dimension. "I will use my power to make it larger perhaps?" Dragon asks. "Yeah. You do that. Phoenix says, Dragon doing just that. Phoenix crawls through the portal, acidentally changing the place it was supposed to send him so he lands in the spirit world, where his powers don't work. "Wha!? Dragon! Why am I in the spirit world?!" Phoenix asks. "To make sure you are completely free of the dark signer influence, I have added an Earthbound immortal to your deck. Duel a signer and win without using dark signer powers and you shall be free of the influence." Dragon says, Taking over Phoenix's body and walking over to Luna, who he had spotted.

Menoe simply sighed he lost. "Why I came here because your dear brother Rua-....I mean Leo, was so worried about you when you fainted, and I owe him from somewhere. But he is currently making the wrong choice as we speak....." He then paused for a moment. "My second reason for coming here is see whether this place has been retouched by the Dark Signers or not. I had been a Dark Signers myself twice, but that still does not give me a vague idea if I would have reentered or not the Spirit World. And-" He paused. Something else impure had entered this world. He then just noticed Phoenix. "How did that guy escape from Itsu? Ruka....errrr...Luna, your opponent is here, I'm afraid."

 

Kris noticed the senior Dark Signers going back to Satellite. She instantly changed the course of her D-Wheel and went back, following her seniors. "Satellite." She muttered.
