Had we taken Heskey off earlier we would have scored. No. Heskey played better than Rooney and Lampard. Rooney should have come off for Defoe, and Lampard should have come off for Joe Cole who should have gone onto the wing and Gerrard moved into centre. If that had happened, we would have one. Too bad Capello hates Joe Cole, the second-best player on our team. Also I lol'd, Lennon almost got us a goal and then he was subbed off straight after. We were like "right! You did something good; get off!" lol. Well... they did okay against Algeria. This time it wasn't the goalie's fault. They really didn't. They played utterly terrible and Algeria dominated us. Manjoume Thunder Posted June 20, 2010 Report Share Posted June 20, 2010 Your coach is terrible. 1) Rooney is forced to drop deep to compensate fot your shitty midfield and the only striker in the box is Heskey (the one who doesn't score goals)2) Lampard is sheet when he plays so deep. 3) Gerrard is bad on the left.4) Johnson is better than SWP and Lennon, but he didn't even take him.5) Walcott's pace could've made enough impact in the end of both of your games.6) You are complaining about the lact of genuine left winger and you have Joe Cole on the bench.7) Campbell > Carragher and King (who can't even play a full match) but that isn't a big problem, because your defense is solid.8) Robert Green. The players also had 2 horrible games, but Capello's tactics are wrong. IMHO your team should be: GK: HartRB: G. Johnson CB: Campbell and Terry LB: A.ColeCM: Carrick (he is terrible, but I can't think of anyone who can do his job) and BarryRW: A.
