Here are Gravekeeper's done right.

[spoiler=En000]

This card's name is treated as "Necrovalley" while face-up on the field. Increase the ATK and DEF of all "Gravekeeper" monsters by 500. Negate the effect of all cards your opponent controls that target a card(s) in the Graveyard and destroy them. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Gravekeeper" monster from your hand.

[spoiler=En001]

324649t.jpg

"An Owl of Luck" + "A Cat of Ill Omen" + 1 "Gravekeeper" monster.

Once per turn, you can discard 1 card and select 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Deck or Graveyard and place it on top of your Deck. If "Necrovalley" is active on the field, you can add the selected card to your hand instead.

[spoiler=En002]

324649n.jpg

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gravekeeper" monsters.

Cards in your Graveyard are unaffeted by "Necrovalley". Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 "Gravekeeper" monster you control to Special Summon 1 "Gravekeeper'" monster from your Graveyard, except the Tributed monster. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.

[spoiler=En003]

324649.jpg

You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard by discarding 1 card while "Necrovalley" is on the field. If you do, this card is removed from play when it is removed from the field.

[spoiler=En004]

324649jd.jpg

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a"Gravekeeper" monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, once per turn, you can discard 1 card to destroy a monster that battled with the equipped monster. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

[spoiler=En005]

324649l.jpg

Once per turn, if "Necrovalley" is on the field, you can remove 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to add 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot Set the Trap Card during the turn this effect is activated. You can Tribute this card to negate the activation of your opponent's Trap Card and destroy it.

hey friend

Here's what I think of Necro Mountain.

[spoiler=OCG]

"This card's name is treated as "Necrovalley" while face-up on the field." = "While this card is on the field, this card's name is treated as "Necrovalley"."

I know it sounds really sketchy, but I'm referencing Forgotten Temple of the Deep, which should be the latest example of what you're trying to say since it's from Absolute Powerforce, the second most recent set and because the most recent set, The Shining Darkness, doesn't appear to have examples of what you're trying to say at first glance. Also from the same set is "Gravekeeper's Priestess", which uses OCG similar to "Maiden of the Aqua" with "The field is treated as "Necrovalley"." So you have an option there. I might stick with Temple just because Priestess's a TCG exclusive and so doesn't go through the same process and because Priestess's/Maiden's wording has only been applied to monsters so far, not Spells or Traps.

"Increase the ATK and DEF of all "Gravekeeper" monsters by 500." = ""All Gravekeeper's" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF." as Gravekeeper's monsters and their support lists them as "Gravekeeper's" monsters, not "Gravekeeper" monsters. Increase and decrease have become more or less obsolete for the past 2 years, these days they appear as "gain" or "lose". Then there's the Turbo Pack 2 "Necrovalley", which is very recent and confirms these.

"Negate the effect of all cards your opponent controls that target a card(s) in the Graveyard and destroy them." = "Negate your opponent's Spell Cards, Trap Cards, or Effect Monster's effects that target a card(s) in either player's Graveyard and destroy them."

As per Herald of Perfection and Infernity Barrier, both of these show that the phrasing for "card effects" which might appear outdated is actually used in the latest set, The Shining Darkness, and therefore not outdated at all. Not sure what you meant by "cards in the Graveyard", so I just went ahead and assumed you meant "either player's Graveyard". Be sure to specify in future as to which Graveyard you're referring to.

"When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Gravekeeper" monster from your hand." = "When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Gravekeeper's" monster from your hand."

Just the whole apostrophe-s exclusion thing again.

Full effect:

While this card is on the field, this card's name is treated as "Necrovalley". "Gravekeeper's" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. Negate your opponent's Spell Cards, Trap Cards, or Effect Monster's effects that target a card(s) in either player's Graveyard and destroy them. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Gravekeeper's" monster from your hand.

[spoiler=Balance]

The trade was Necrovalley's prohibition for either Graveyard to have cards removed with the Special Summon of a Gravekeeper from the hand, which doesn't seem to tip the scales too far in either direction.

[spoiler=Name and Picture]

Alright, the significance of "Necrovalley" is that it represents the "Valley of the Kings" in Egypt where the Pharoahs were buried. The "Gravekeeper's" monsters revolve around "Necrovalley" as they're protecting the graves of the deceased pharoahs.

Now that we see the context here, let's take another look at this card. You re-located the Gravekeeper's monsters to some random mountain, mountains not being notorious burial grounds, abandoning the pharoahs for which their purpose was to protect.

You see what I'm getting at here? Oh, and there's small text in the bottom right-hand corner which you might wanna consider cropping.

[spoiler=Effect Quality]

Not awfully creative. You took "Necrovalley" and destroyed its relevance to the "Gravekeeper's" theme, throwing in a generic "Special Summon from the hand" effect. This isn't even much of an upgrade either and has little purpose for existing in that none of your "Neo-Gravekeeper" monsters have any interaction with it.

[spoiler=Extra Details]

Leave your circulation blank, the "FIRST EDITION" given on your card doesn't resemble anything on any previously existing cards.
