At that moment Jeanne turned back noticeing Fenris was gone, "Whats the meaning of this!" Jeanne said Releaseing Felicia from Fenris' Grip.

 

"My apologies she was trailing us and I took it apon my self..." He is sudenly slug across the face by Jeanne, is instincts were to react but he knew better, he bowed.

 

"How dare you act without my Permission! If she had been hurt You would get much worse!" Jeanne said, she turned to Felicia, "I appologise, Oh and you frought along Nyoko Good I now Have a proper secort lets go meant the Comander!"

 

Jeane turned And Oppened the door to Comander Ascura's ofice.

 

((You can controll Ascura, he is a very laid back man that can be sirious but perfers not to, but he is every bit as good as Jeanne on the battlefield The fact he made Jeanne his second in comand was she was able to match him.))

Annoyingly, Fenris was a much better counterspy than warrior. While Felicia was certain that she would have been able to easily deal with the situation under enemy lines, it was just annoying to have someone come along and diffuse the fight. Still, Jeane was signing her paycheck, so she didn't have much choice but to discontentedly follow along.

 

Suddenly, she turned off at a room Felicia was certain wasn't her stop — for one thing, she'd seen Commander Valtiel passing this room several times on the way to her office; for another, there was a man inside, reclining on a chair and deep in thought, not an overstressed woman. Shrugging and smiling, she continued on her way, off to aimlessly wander the underground passages seeking the ultimate commander.

"Oh, hey, Jeanne," Commander Ascura said cheerily. "Wazzap? You probably didn't just stop by to say hello, so spill what you've got."

"Spare the pleasantries." Serius roughly said, and Velon looked at the stormcloud above them.

"So that's Onis, I presume?" He turned his sight towards the gap, where he barely saw last mercenary except himself disappearing into the depths. "If you're done talking with your old friend, Serius, I'll be going down now."

 

Velon walked towards the gap and looked down into it. It was deep, and the "staircase" went into spirals deep beneath the earth.

"Guess I'll take the easy way down!" He simply said and jumped down into the hole, but he fell slower then an average person would fall.

Nyoko stared into space in the middle of a hallway. Somehow, she has gotten herself contemplating the question of what divides a bread from a pastry. They were often made of the same stuff, but sometimes pastries were flaky. Nyoko knew there were also flaky breads and non-flaky pastries. Maybe it was what was put into the food. Nyoko realized that there were breads made with fruit and they were still considered bread.

 

"Oh, it's all so confusing!" Nyoko said, clutching her head, which ached from all the complex reasoning. She looked around to see if Jeanne could bring some of her views to her dilemma, but there was no one around. Nyoko was shocked and floundered around confused, wondering where her master could have gone to. To make things worse, she had no idea where she was again. Absolutely in a state of pure confusion, she picked a random hallway and rushed down it. She did this three times until she barely saw Jeanne visiting another room. Nyoko walked behind Jeanne and tapped her shoulder lightly.

 

"Jeanne-sama! I found you again! You disappeared and I was lost and I don't know the difference between bread and pastry!"

"I believe," the commander supplied, "that bread is usually harder than pastry, and has a better-defined crust. I'd ask the cooks, though, but in a bit — your commander had come here to deliver some news, and you might as well stick around to hear it.

 

"So what's the deal, Jeanne?" he asked again, curious. "Spill it!"

Moonbeam Cathwright had been rather busy lately.

 

With an impending war overshadowing the city, there had never been a time so direly in need of social work, and Moonbeam herself was among the only people that had bothered stepping up to the task. Lately, a mage child called Alex had tasked her with providing counseling for errant citizens, which meant that she was dealing with people ranging from con artists to drunken amateur bullfighter.

 

The new crowd, however, was coming in the form of two city guards, being dragged to her by a young woman in blue clothing.

 

"Wh-what the..." The aristocracy, bringing her the guards? Surely she couldn't expect her to buy that!

Jeane looked sternly at Comander Ascura, "Sir please this is sirious! I have gained important info Reguarding the enemy!" Jeanne said, as Ascura streightened in his seat. "Fenris Report!"

 

Fenris Jolted to a streight stance, "Yes ma'ym, I over heard a Conversation of the generals on one of my reconacence missions, and The enemy is puting in Boosters even though we won last time Boosters Could be a drastic change in the upcoming battles wich one is coming very soon sir!"

 

Jeanne Looked back at Nyoko, and smiled and gave her the signal to be silent the comander, was about to give Orders.

Two people said this at exactly the same time: Commanders Ascura and Valtiel.

 

Valtiel was an imposing woman; dark skin, dark hair, dark eyes, dark clothes. Though her clothing was sultry and her physique impressive, the way she carried it managed to intimidate rather than titillate. The room seemed weighed down by her frightening mood.

 

Ascura, on the other hand, merely seemed annoyed. "We're gonna have to put a lot more stress on our mercenaries if we want those things stopped," he frowned. "If I'm right, Commander Valtiel will be using them to target the boosters with precision... Your forces are gonna want to work on their defense if we want to survive," he instructed Jeanne. "See if you can get them used to taking tough blows; boosters increase power, but it's rare you'll find one increasing agility."

 

Valtiel was thinking along the same lines. "I hope you realize," she apologized to Felicia, "that it's not just because you're the messenger that I ask your force to try and deal with the boosters. Your expertise is infiltrating the lines, ne?"

 

Felicia nodded, smiling in spite of the dark mood in the chamber. "Yeah; if it comes down to taking out the boosters themselves, we'll be fine."

 

"Good luck, then. Start training."
