I recently got back into Yugioh, and while looking up new Synchro monsters I stumbled across this site. I really like some of the ideas here, and the 3 movie sphinx monsters happen to be some of my favorite cards. So I decided to give an attempt at making them Synchro monsters to lessen the ridiculous summon conditions around them, and then decided to try and make a deck around them.

 

Of course having only gotten back into the game more recently, I'm not entirely up on what's balanced. So this deck might be overpowered...or underpowered lol, not sure which.

 

For Synchro's I tried to make a Synchro for 9-5 stars, with Theinen needing special conditions to summon.

Towards the end of making these I realized I might have added too much healing + draw overall, so tried to add a few self burn cards to balance it a bit.

 

Either way, I know their not great, but did have fun making them. Eventually I'll get around to making a better set and actually print them out.

 

 

Edit - After looking through a few other threads, I realized I made a few mistakes lol. Hope you guys can look past them. Such as putting Fading for the name rather than the normal one. Or several text errors in whats capitalized. Sorry, should have payed more attention while making them.

good for your first cards. i'm reasonably new as well (and same about recently getting back into yu-gi-oh)

as you said, there are a few OCG errors (you don't say Tuner type, you just say Tuner, and say 'this card' when specifying itself. and for the Synchro version of Thienen, you need to say the synchro requirements, or else it isn't a synchro card) but otherwise good. I remember, just before seeing the movie, I got all 3 sphinx cards in one booster pack, (i think someone up there likes me. lol) and when i saw all of them in the movie, my jaw dropped.
