I just recently got a neg bcuz of double posts. What is the use in ycm even making it possible to double post if you're just gonna get negged for it! For that matter, you may as well just go neg everyone in all of ycm! Everybody in existance whos ever played ycm has done a double post at least once in their life! What is the use in negging someone for it?!

I agree with the bolded, reps don't matter. And, yes, a lot of members (me included) have double posted before, but you'll learn not to.

Let's be realistic about this. About half of all reps' date=' whether positive or negative, are given for BS reasons. Hell, I only deserved one of my five. Reps are worthless.

 

As for double-posting, I'm against intentionally doing so, since a lot of people do so to bump threads (and I [i']really[/i] hate bumping). I've doubled once or twice by accident, but that happens to a lot of people, so it's hard to be against doing something unintentionally.

Bumping is after 24 hours of inactivity, just so you can bring back your thread to the top.

Damn skippy. If anyone wanted to post in the thread they would have done so before a bump became necessary. Bumping just forces people to bypass for longer periods of time threads they don't care to post in. If sombody wants that thread specifically' date=' they can search for it. Long story short, I view bumping as a milder form of trolling/spamming. I don't care if the whole world thinks differently, that's just my opinion. [/rant']
