Chaos Flame Posted June 19, 2010 Report Share Posted June 19, 2010 I noticed that all archetypes involve cards from multiple card types (monster/spell/trap). I have decided to make an archetype of ALL spell cards. Read description to get a better idea of how they work.[spoiler=desciption]Magus works by playing continuous spell cards that spawn tokens and/or give them effects for being in the same column as them. They DO include 2 synchros, but these synchros turn into spells the moment they are summoned, similar to crystal beasts. Overall, the main point of the set is to summon as many tokens as possible, boost their attack a bit, and either have them gain the direct attack effect or destroy the field with cards like interlude of devastation. The one perhaps major problem, is that playing them usual means that you cannot summon, usually sealing most monsters off when making a deck of them. [spoiler=spells]effect:Once per turn, you can return 1 card in your hand to the top of your Deck to Special Summon 1 "Elemental Token" (Thunder-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/1000 ATK/1000 DEF) in the same column of a "Magus" Spell Card you control. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you use this effect. All tokens in the same column of this card are treated as WIND and gain the following effect: "If this card is destroyed, you can add 1 "Magus" card from your Deck to your hand."effect:Once per turn, if you have no Monster Cards in your Graveyard, you can remove 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon 1 "Elemental" Token (Thunder-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) in the same column as a "Magus" Spell Card. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this effect. All tokens in the same column as this card are treated as WATER and are treated as Tuners.effect:Once per turn, select 1 token you control and double its original Attack until the End Phase. All tokens in the same column as this card are treated as LIGHT and gain the following effect: "This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly."effect:You can only play this card by Tributing 2 tokens you control. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Elemental Token" (Thuner-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/1000 ATK/1000 DEF) in the same column as a "Magus" card besides this card. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this effect. All tokens in the same column of this card are treated as DARK and gain the following effect: "If this card attacks or is attacked, draw 1 card at the end of the Damage Step (even if this card is destroyed)"effect:This card can only be played by Tributing 2 tokens of different Attributes and sending 1 Continuous Spell Card to the Graveyard. Once per turn, Special Summon 1 "Elemental Token" (Thunder-type/LIGHT/Level 2/1000 ATK/1000 DEF) in the same column as a "Magus" Spell Card. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you activate this effect. All tokens can attack your opponent directly. All tokens in the same column of this card are treated as LIGHT and DARK.effect:Once per turn, you can inflict 500 damage to your opponent. All tokens in the same column of this card are treated as FIRE and gain the following effect: "When this card is destroyed by battle, you can destroy 1 card on the field."effect:Once per turn, you can negate 1 of your opponent's monster's attacks. All tokens in the same column of this card are treated as EARTH and gain the following effect: "Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not."effect:Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon 1 "Elemental Token" (Thunder-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 1000/DEF 1000)in the same column as a "Magus" Spell Card. You cannot activate Spell Cards the turn you use this effect." [spoiler=synchros]effect:1 token Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters.When this card is Synchro Summoned, place it in a Spell and Trap Card Zone and it is treated as a continuous Spell Card with the following effect: "Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Elemental Token" (Thunder-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/1000 ATK/1000 DEF) in the same column as a "Magus" Spell Card. All tokens gain 600 ATK. All tokens in the same column as this card are treated as WATER. You can Tribute 3 tokens of different attributes to add 1 "Magus" card in your Graveyard or Deck to your hand. When this card is removed from the field, remove it from play.effect:1 token Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters.When this card is Synchro Summoned, place it in a Spell and Trap Card Zone and it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card with the following effect: "Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 token in the same column as this card to destroy up to 2 cards on the field.
