I never told anyone this but here it goes.

Last year my mom had surgery done in Puerto Rico but the doctors were trainees and as a result the surgery got botched up. Now my mom has to have her stomach removed. I hope all your thoughts and prayers go out to her.

On it.

Also, tell those idiotic doctors that they're fired.

Only like half the members on this site are atheist anyway's. And if I were you, I wouldn't go to an internet forum as the first source of help.

However, I wish her the best of luck and hopefully her life will be the same as always.

I think a better word would be replaced, not removed. You can't live without a stomach.

But yeah, why the hell would they have just trainees doing the surgery? Shouldn't they have gotten at least 1 experienced doctor? You guys should sue them.

Is this Some Kind of sick joke?

man if she got her stomach removed she'd you know kinda die of starvation, Even if she is going in for an operation it won't be to get her stomach removed.

I Stand Corrected.

Like your large intestine, your stomach can be completely removed. Usually this is done when you have stomach cancer. The esophagus (the pipe that routes food from your mouth to your stomach) is rerouted to connect to your small intestine, and the surgeon can widen the small intestine in that area to create a surrogate stomach. Food goes through the same digestive process as before, but you can't absorb as much vitamin B12. So you may have to get bi-annual injections of the vitamin..

Therefore Tell your mum We're all rootin' for her. :)

*Is shocked* Well' date=' bud, give her my best luck. And who let *Beep*ing Trainees on Surgery without a Professional carefully watching over their every move? That is just bad, & I am sorry, VERY, for you.

Good luck to your mom, old bud, Cody a.k.a. Christian a.k.a. Alex.
