Pokemon: Kanto Adventure [In Character/Started]

Skarlet set down his heavy, well-packed backpack and looked in dismay at the single full pokeball he had... He wouldn't normally keep little Angel in a pokeball, but the cafe wouldn't allow him to keep her at his side while he was there. None of the cafes in Saffron city would. He sat the ball down on the table and checked his phone for the time... Rayne, his boyfriend, wasn't late, rather Skarlet was early, as he usually was for thier meetings... He yawned. Skarlet had to get up remarkably early this morning, or more to the point, late the night before. He'd rushed to pack his bag, then, as he usually did, spent an excessive amount of time combing and styling his hair. Skarlet turned his head, to the entrance of the store as he awaited Rayne, he tapped his heeled boot on the floor softly.

Yawning Rayne woke up to Prince licking his hand. Sitting up, and patting his eevee on his head, Rayne pulled his phone off the table beside him. 'Damn it Prince we're late.' Rayne yawned pushing his covers off the bed. Climbing out he ran over to his drawers, grabbing his old patched up back pack on the way. Pulling his drawers out and into the floor Rayne tipped the contents into his bag, so far he had some clean clothes, empty pokeballs, some pokemon food and his hair and tooth brush in his bag, and a blanket attached at the bottom. 'come on Prince, we're leaving.' Rayne called to his eevee who was laying on the bed watching him as he franticly packed. Running to his bedroom door, Ryane held it open, 'come on, Or I'll go without you', he knew it was an empty threat but It usally worked on Prince. Prince turned his head to the side, jumped off the bed, crawled under and ran over to Raynes feet holding something in his mouth. Bending down, Rayne recived an empty pokeball, 'Right, well done boy, we might need that' Rayne laughed as the pair ran down the stairs together. 'RAYNE, come here' His mother called from the kitchen. 'Mum, I have to go, Im meeting Skarlet and Im late, and I HAVE to go now.' Rayne sighed walking into the kitchen Prince at his heals. 'God lord, look at the state of your hair, brush it, and did you sleep in those clothes?' His mother asked horrifed. 'I will at the cafe mum, yes, and Im late.' Rayne sighed, tring to walk out again. 'Rayne. Here. Love you. Keep safe.' His mum smiled as she threw him, his wallet with money in it. 'Thanks mum, love you too. Come on Prince' Rayne smiled as the pair ran from the house and to the cafe.

Stopping at the front of the cafe, Rayne pulled out Princes pokeball and made him return with an appoly. 'Sorry boy, you know their rules' Rayne sighed clipping Prince to his belt, as he walked in. Seeing Skarlet he walked over, bent quickly and gave him a fast peck on the cheek, and sat opposite him. 'Hey.'

Rayne seemed a freightful mess, but Skarlet was just happy he was there. "Hey babe, are you okay?" Skarlet couldn't help but worry about him. His hair was a mess, his clothes ruffled His sneaker shoelace seemed to be comming untied. Skarlet looked around the Cafe, Rayne's entrance, and the kiss he'd planted on Skarlet who was starting to live up to his name had attracted a little bit of attention. Skarlet reached across the table to take Rayne's hand as a waitress approached them. She was one of the reasons they'd chosen this establishment. They had some of the least homophobic service in town, not to mension some of the best food, Skarlet didn't notice the woman he was too focused on Rayne.

'Yeah, Prince somehow managed to turn off my alarm, and then I slept in, and then I had to pack, and then I tried to leave like 3 diffrent times, first time, Prince stopped me then mum stoped me twice, Oh that reminds me.' Rayne spoke at a hundred miles per hour as usal, as he let go of Skarlets hand to reach into his bag, sitting straight again, he had his pink hairbrush in his hand, and was runing it through his blue bangs. 'Oh darn my shoe lace' Rayne sighed dropping the brush back into his bag, as he bent back down to tie his shoe. 'How was your morning, wait when did you get here? Have you been here long? Have you ate yet? Im hungry. Are you hungry? Lets order. I want to order. What do you want? I want something yum.' Rayne smiled, as he spoke, then stuck out his tounge in concerntration as he tried to button the sleve to his outter shirt.

"Aaaawwwh!" Skarlet couldn't help but exclaim aloud. The waitress arrived at the table. "Hey, guys. You want something?" She adressed the pair as if she knew them, probably because she did. Her name was Erikah, and she was a long time friend of Skarlet's And in fact she was the first person Skarlet had ever told he was gay. 'Hey Erikah!' he greeted the girl fondly. I'll take coffee, lots and lots of coffee, hazelnut shots, vienna, and what ever you think I'd like to eat." Erikah had a great habbit of picking meals for Skarlet, he often just simply walked in and asked her to get him 'something' here. The girl smiled and looked over to Rayne, waiting for his order.

'uhhm I want coffee and uhmmm I dunno. Uhm, the uhmmm I KNOW, I want what ever Skarlet gets' Rayne smiled fondly at the girl, he knew her through Skarlet, and she had always been nothing but kind and poliet to him. Looking around the cafe, he noticed a couple of young girls staring at him and Skarlet from the corner. Getting frustrated he waved at them, hoping they would stop looking. Giggling they turned away and back to their meals. Looking down, Rayne realised that the white shirt he was wearing beneath his checkered outter shirt, had muddy paw prints over it, from prince. Sighing he pulled off his shirts, and put the white one in his bag, and pulled out a clean one, and roughly pulled it over his head, and pulled his outter shirt on sloppily over the top, then looked across at his boyfriend, and smiled his goofy crooked smile and cocked his head 'hullo'

Skarlet savoured the momentary view of the shirtless Rayne as he heard a giggle from the crowd of young girls. He's gorgeous, isn't he!? Skarlet screamed to them within his own mind. He'd never have done it vocally, Rayne'd have killed him. Skarlet was slow to answer the now-clothed Rayne, but he snapped out of the day dream triggered by the site. "Hey gorgeous." He said with a wink, trying to play it off as a witty reply, but knowing full well he'd missed the chance to do that entirely. Erikah had wandered away she was taking another order. As she finished she smiled to them and ducked back behind the counter, getting to work, carrying the metaphorically understaffed cafe on her back.

Smiling goofily at his boyfriend across the table as he zoned out, Rayne chuckled. Listening to Skarlet as he came back down to earth, Rayne started to fiddle with a knife that was on the table. 'Hey Skarlet look.' He smiled throwing the knife up and catching it in his palm, before throwing the silver object back up into the air, getting momentarily distracted , as the door to the cafe opened, Rayne turned to look, missing the knife. Letting it land on his thigh, then clatter to the tiled floor. 'Owww.' He looked down, rubbed his thigh, sighed and bent down again to pick up the knife. 'now its dirty'

[Skarlet]

Skarlet watched captivated as the knife spun upward into the air, and back down into the hand of his skillful boyfriend, and again the second time, he was enthraled, he watched Rayne turn away, he saw the knife glide across Rayne's denim-clad thigh, at worst it was a scratch and a nasty surprise, but Skarlet didn't think straight. He let out an almost-silent gasp. As Rayne removed his hand to retrieve the knife Skarlet's slid into it's place, under the table, he rubbed the tiny wound on the other boy's leg and said in a tone of slight worry. "Forget the knife... Are you okay, baby?"

[Fen.]

JJ was snoozing outside of a small, cold cave on the coast of a beautiful waterfront. The mid-morning sun was playing a spectacle show on his face. Lying on his bare stomach, was a Sneasel, also slightly asleep. A ray of sun bounced off the shifting sea and splashed into Sneasel's closed eyes. He flipped up in a quick motion, noticing his friend passed out on the snady earth, his mouth wide open, snorring. Sneasel took one of his claws and gently stroked the bridge of JJ's nose. "Hey, hey hey! I'm up now," JJ said with a laugh as he now rubbed his tickly nose. Sneasel looked up to his master with bright, red eyes. JJ smlied back, petting his head. "We have to make a trip to Cinnabar today," JJ said, getting up and stretching himself out, "we need to gather some supplies if we're gonna start our journey," JJ said. And without a second word, Sneasel sprinted into the Seafoam Cave to obtain something. As Sneasel was on his little errand, JJ just looked out into the beautiful ocean, just barely seeing Cinnabar island in the distance. He could see the large dormant volcano in the distance. "Let's hope it stays that way,", thought JJ as Sneasel came back with a sturdy backpack, containing supplies the two of them have gathered over the past years. "Alright Claw, you know what to do," JJ said affirmitavly, as Sneasel started to wade into the water, but not before handing JJ his backpack.

Valarie woke up, the exact moment she was supposed to wake up- 7:31 in the morning. Cyndaquil nudged her with his snout, helping her get out of bed. She got dressed in her usual attire, and put her hair up in a messy ball of blonde. She walked out of her house, grabbibg her bag on the way. Valarie looked aroun Saffron City, her home town. It was always nice there- she enjoyed living in the city. Cyndaquil was by her side as she walked arond the city, looking for Trainers to battle.

[Fen.]

JJ notticed a large chunk of ice just jutting out of the Seafoam Cave. By sheer muscle strength, he ripped it off the face of the cave. He then chucked the miniature ice floe into the balmy waters. JJ then pulled on a pair of swim trunks, grabbed the backpack, and dove into the water right next to his Pokemon. He rested the backpack on the small makeshift ice raft. "Alright Claw, let's get moving!" Claw nodded and whipped out his claws. All ready to go, the two began their swift swim towards the closest form of civilization that was nearby, Cinnabar Island. It was a very calm trip as the two companions smiled and waved to the nearby swimmers and fishermen on the small spits of land. A few minutes later, the two both noticed that the water had become even warmer, Cinnabar was even closer by now. Claw was pushing the block of floating ice around, making sure the backpack stayed nice and dry.

Alex awoke to his personal alarm, "Lar. Lar Lar! Larvitar!" And a nudge. Alex wiped his hand over Larvitar's head. "Larvitar, let's go. Lar Lar Lar Lar!" He attempted like everyday to say it, each time a different way. But as always, his attempt failed. They grabbed a quick danish & a strip of bacon, each. They ran to the Gym. "Huh. Brock isn't here yet. Better reason to," He typed the emergency code perfectly & ran in. Larvitar trained his moves: His Tackle, His Growl, & the Rock Smash(He is the Gym Leader's training partner anyways.). Once he was satisfied, he snuck back out.

"Hey Crusher ready to do some training" Delano asked his turtwig

Crusher went into a serious stance and nodded his head "Turt-Turtwig" Crusher responded with excitement.

"All right than use tackle attack on that tree" Delano said pionting at tree infront of him

"TURTWIG" Crusher shouted than rammed his body into the tree

"Keep it up" Delano said than followed suit and started tackling the tree like crusher. They both simulatonouesly tackling the tree.

 

After about 20 tackles each...........

"Ok Crusher lets take 5" Delano said than took a seat on the ground that pulled out a canteen and bowl than poured some water into the bowl for crusher than drank himself.

Crusher drank the water and after 2 large gulps Crusher made a refreshed sound

Roy had just woken up after Totodile squirted him with water. "Toto to Totodile!" Totodile said multiple times. "Okay Totodile. Lets get training, we're gonna be the best!" replied Roy as he ran down the stairs to the basement to start they're usual workout. In the basement, the walls were made of rock and targets were hanging on the walls. "Okay, Totodile! Use Water Gun!" Roy yelled. Totodile did as he pleased. The water hit many bullseyes for ten minutes. "Okay, take 5" Roy said as Totodile got tired. Roy moved the targets onto some hooks as he tried to make moving targets. "Totodile, use Water Gun!" Totodile blasted the water at the targets in the middle of each of them. When they were finished the routine, they went outside to try and catch some Pokemon.

"Ok Crusher time to work on your Razor leaf" Delano said than looked around than thought of something "i got it Crusher your razor leaf on the branches of the trees than hit the falling branches with another razor leaf" Delano told Crusher

"TURTWIG" Crusher shouted as he nodded. Crusher lifted his head released a razor leaf on a tree cutting off 5 branches. "Crusher jump and use razor leaf than finish with a tackle attack on the tree" Delano commanded

"Turtwig" Crusher said has he jumped up and released another round of razor leaf cutting the falling branches into pieces of fire wood. While still in mid-air Crusher dove into a tackle attack and slammed into the tree knock several leaves off its branches.

"Good job now we have some firewood for later" Delano said as he packed the cutted up branches into a bag

"Totodile, use Quick Attack!" yelled Roy. Totodile used Quick Attack against a Pidgey and made it flinch. "Totodile, come back!" Roy said as he threw out a Pokeball. It moved, and then the Pidgey came out. It flew away straight away. Roy moaned and picked up the Pokeball. "So close...." Roy whispered under his breath. "Toto?" Totodile replied. "No. We're not good enough to catch a Pokemon yet." said the discouraged Roy. "We need to train more."

'Fine.' Rayne blushed, putting his hand under the table, to shift Skarlets off his thigh and hold it. Just on cue, the lovely waitress came back to their table, a plate balanced on each arm, and a mug of coffee in each hand. Putting down, a plate and mug in front of each of the boys, she smiled and turnt and left. 'Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.' Rayne smiled, opening a packet of sugar from the dish beside him and pouring it on. After adding 3 more packets of sugar, he picked up his 'dirty' knife, wiped it on his jeans, picked up his fork and attacked his breakfast, while attempting to make conversation with Skarlet.

'so where we headed first?' Rayne mumbled, his mouth full, as he swallowed a glup of coffee.

Skarlet frowned slightly as Rayne brushed his hand from his thigh. "Well..." Skarlet started, taking a sip of coffee. "There's a contest comming up in Pewter City, and I know you wanna take on Brock, so I was thinking we'd head there first." Skarlet thought for a moment. The time wasn't right to surprise Rayne with his Aniversery present, but he'd most likely give it to him early, thier aniversery was a few days away and the lotad that Skarlet had caught for Rayne would be a great gift, but with his boyfriend's match against Brock to come soon, this gift was probably going to need to be an early one.

Swallowing the last piece of his toast, covered in sugar Rayne smiled. 'OHHHHH I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU!!!!!!' he dove down under the table into his back pack, pulling out his clothes and dumping them on the floor, eventually giving up he tiped his whole bag upside down and emptied everything onto the tiles. 'I know I packed it,..... its in here somewhere.... I swear.... FOUND IT!' he yelled producing a pokeball and placing it on the table 'I know its early, but I really couldnt wait, and let me tell you IT WAS NOT EASY TO get, but your soooo worth it' he smiled , before leaning acorss and pulling Skarlet forwards by his shirt, and roughly pressing his own lips against Skarlets. Sitting back in his chair, he blushed noticing that the entire cafe saw his performace. Looking at the floor, he flushed a deeper red seeing all his clothes including his underware on the floor for all to see, ducking down again, he quickly threw it all back in his bag.

Skarlet blushed... not out of embarasment... but well because he'd just been grabbed, pulled across a table and snogged in public by a normally rather shy Rayne. That was an experience he'd never have again. He stared blankly for a few seconds before actually registering that Rayne had given him a Pokeball, an ordinary looking one too, if it was 'not easy to find' it was almost certainly it's contents that were the antiquity. Skarlet blinked. He must have gotten something really rare for me... and I got him that Lotad... Skarlet was afraid he might have let Rayne down but he didn't show it. "Oh my God, A rare pokemon!? What is it!? Thankyou thankyou thankyou! I love you, honey!"

'Well come, on hurry up and eat so you can open it.... come on HURRRRRRRYYYY UPPPPP.' Rayne pestered his boyfriend and best friend to hurry. Getting bored of waiting, Rayne took the fork out of Skarlets hand and started cutting his food and trying to feed him. 'Come onnnn' Rayne winned. Finally Skarlet finnished, and Rayne reached across the table, grabbed his boyfriends wrist and pulled him out of the cafe... maybe all that sugar wasnt such a good idea. Sitting on the stepps outside the cafe, Rayne reached down to his belt and Let Prince out straight away. 'Hey boy, you dont like that stupid thing do you?' Rayne asked as Prince licked his hand affetionatly. 'Eeeeeeevvvvvvveeeeeee'

"Angel, you can come out now!" Skarlet called to his Eevee, who burst forth from her ball with a happy "Vee!" The boy now gripped the ball that Rayne had given him, he looked down at it, then over to Rayne, nervous, but seriously excited. "Should I be Scared?" Skarlet joked. Angel ran to sit next to Prince, and watch on as Skarlet nervously threw the ball into the air. "Draaatiiiniii" the call echoed through Skarlets mind as he opened his eyes to see a gorgeous, serpent like pokemon gliding through the air around him, it ducked and weaved through the sky and around it's new trainer. Skarlet was open mouthed, he couldn't formulate words, he did however manage to lock his arms around Rayne and kiss him deeply. The girls who had migrated to the cafe's windows were giggling even louder now, but Skarlet couldn't care less.

Valarie walked around Saffron City with her Cyndaquil. She walked around Saffron City to get to a Pokemon Center. Cyndaquil had just fought a Pokemon out in the wild, and was pretty tired. His health was low, so she kept him in his Pokeball. He only liked to be in there when he was resting. She gave the Nurse Cyndaquil, and after the weird music, Cyndaquil was out of his Pokeall and out and around. Valarie ran after him, keeping up easily with her little Pokemon. She saw two boys, and saw a Dratini. It was rather strange, as Dratini was a rather rare Pokemon.

Devon and Abra had been exploring in Digglets cave all morning and got up really early. "Abra, how are you doing?" Devon had asked. Abra was using Flash, and Devon had a flashlight on him, along with and explorers kit. They then came to a fork in the tunnel. "According to this map, one way leads to Pewter city, the other to Cerulean. Well I want to get my first badge right!?" Abra looked up at him and yelled, "Abra!" happily. "To Pewter then!" They had walked a long way, Devon had six pokeballs on him and one dark ball. "I hope I get to use these pokeballs soon!" Devon exclaimed. Then, a diglet came out of nowhere and it was a battle! "Alright! A digglet!" Devon and Abra(Who always stays out of his pokeball) eventually made it out of Digglet cave and let the New Digglet out to see it's new master. "Come on out Digglet." Digglet was a little confused by the outdoors and looked up at Devon. It looked happy. "Nice to meet you, I'm Devon and this is Abra!" Abra went up to Digglet and patted him on the head, "Abra Abra!" They had a conversation and Devon didn't understand a word, at one point they began laughing at him, they got into a play fight and ate some pokemon food that Devon made before they left his home for his adventure. The sky was bright blue and they laye din the grass outside Digglet cave and relaxed.
