Pokemon: Kanto Adventure [In Character/Started]

Finally, as the block of ice was starting to thaw from the increasing temperatures of the water, JJ and Claw reached a small sandy beach area, which was part of a large, plentiful island. They had reached Cinnabar. JJ helped his pokemon out of the water, and slung the backpack over his shoulders. Claw brushed the excess water off of his fur. JJ laughed and looked out at the wide area of hotels, souvenir shops, people tanning on the beach, and most amazing, was the large volcano. It rose out of the earth at the far end of the island, casting a shadow over a whole section of the island. "It's magnificant, isn't it buddy," JJ said in awe as Claw followed him up the beach and towards the bustling city. "Sneasel! Snea!" the pokemon replied in exuberance. As the two walked throguh the town, girls whispered to their friends next to them. "Oooh, that guys really cute, who is he?" Haven't you heard? He's that guy who lives and trains in the Seafoam Islands." "Seafoam Islands? Who would be crazy enough to train, let alone live there?" "Crazy or not, I could wash my delicates on those abbs of his, mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmh". Guys whispered to their buddies too. "Whoa, is that a Sneasel? How the heck did he get one of of those?" "I didn't even know they could be found in this region" "That's because they can only be found in the Johto, and Sinnoh regions." "The trainer doesn't seem to be a pushover either." "Isn't he the guy who hermits up in the Caves nearby?" "The one and the only." JJ waved to all the people who he and Claw passed by, not knowing he was slowly becoming the talk of the town.

"Alright time to find some new friends" Delano said to crusher as he scanned the area for pokemon "Let's see pidgey, rattatta, spearow... nothing here lets move on to the next area" Delano said to Crusher as he pionts to the east and started walking.

"Tur-Tur-Turtwig" Crusher said in reponse to Delano ready to battle

 

15 minutes later....

*running water sound*

"Hey Crusher there's a river up ahead lets see if we can find any water pokemon to catch" Delano told Crusher

"Tur-Turtwig" Crusher shouted.

Delano threw off his shirt, hat, shoes, socks etc. except his swimming trunks he wore under his pants than jumped into the river "Let go Crusher" Delano said and waved his hand

"TURTWWIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGG" Crusher yelled as he jumped into the river to

"Alright not to scan what we can catch" Delano said as he put his face underwater looking at the possible pokemon he can catch.

Dylan sighed as he nearly nodded off in the pokemon center, untill he heard a familiar voice talking to the nurse joy of Saffron. "Vala...." He started, just as she left the Pokecenter. "...rie. Damn, missed her." He cursed, walking back inside. He walked up to nurse joy to see how his Zorua was doing, and it seemed to have recovered from it's encounter. "You know not to attack wild pokemon without my say-so." Dylan said, looking down at the Zorua. "Especially not Beedrill. You had alot of nasty stings." Dylan added, before leaving with Zorua to find Valarie. He walked past a restaurent just to see two guys kissing. "Well, if they want to..." Dylan said, shrugging, while the couple caught odd stares from passers-by. "Now where'd that girl got to?" He asked himself, looking around. Then he caught a glimpse of a familiar Cyndaquil, to which Zorua ran over to. Dylan sighed, straightened himself up and walked over to Valarie. "Hello." He started, unable to say anything else as he looked down at his purple, fox-like pokemon playing with the small, mouse-like pokemon.

Draeg looked trough the window of his room, there was nothing to do, everything were calmed, he called Mile, who came running from his room, "What you feel like?" Asked draeg to his mate, weird thing, he wouldnt understand a word from his charmander. Mile looked at Draeg confused "Char?" said while taking a ball to Draeg... "So you want some fun? Uhm... I think I need some friends or I will become crazy talking only to Mile" Draeg laughed at himself, then sighed "I really need someone to talk to" He threwn the ball at Mile who catched it and sended it back to Draeg, once and again they repeated the same thing... "I think something gotta happen out there..." Said in a lower tone, he took his spear and threwn away the ball, "Lets check out if some riot is out there, kay?", he recieved a "Char!" As answer from his mate...

 

A While after they reached a mall, there was no riot or fight, Draeg and Mile sighed, then Draeg remembered, "Didn't a girl asked us to go Saffron to get his old bicicle?"... A while passed and they were on the first taxi to Saffron, that job didnt paid a lot, but, it was a job...

Valarie was playing with her Cyndaquil when she heard Dylan's voice. She didn't look up at Dylan, she didn't have to. "Hey, Dylan. What's up?" Valarie said, throwing her Cyndaquil up, then cathching him again. She did it again, then looked up at Dylan. "Watcha doing? Watcha need?" She said, putting Cyndaquil down on the ground. "Cyndaquil and I are going to go and train some more after you say what's on your mind. We need to be as tough as we can be for the Gym Leader."

while looking underwater Delano noticed what looked like a krabby. Delano pionted at the krabby and nodded to crusher than Crusher nodded back. Crusher tilt its head back and unleashed a razor leaf attack at the krabby seriously wounding it. The krabby swam at Crusher preparing to use vicegrip. Crusher countered with and another razor leaf than soon after the razor leaf Delano threw a pokeball at the krabby. The pokeball wiggled underwater and blinked. After 3 wiggles the krabby was finally catch. Delano swam to the pokeball and grabbed it than both Delano and Crusher swam back to land. "Good job crusher" Delano took crusher. "Turtwig" Crusher responded joyfully. "Come out Pincher" Delano said as the krabby he just caught appearances in a flash of white light. "Hey Pincher" Delano said than scanned its moves "Lets see vicegrip and bubble not bad for my 1st pokemon. Lets work together to become strong Pincher" Delano told Pincher. Pincher responded by claking its pinchers with joyist eyes.

Drache quickly went diown of the taxi and paid to the driver, he blackmailed the driver by saying he that Mile would make the taxi explode if he asked for more that he had on his pockets... Worked for me Thought Draeg as he jumped out of the taxi.

 

As he were on Saffron with Mile at full health he started seeking for the bicicle, at his bad luck, it were been destroyed by a sleeping snorlax, "Why they let they be out of a pokeball?" Asked Draeg for himself, he patted Mile "Well, we are on another place for first time, you know what that mean?" asked to his pokemon, Mile answered with a big smile and a small fire came out of his mouth, "Yup, time to get in troubles!" Draeg smiled as swinging his spear... Since he was new on the city, the malls and everything was so big for he...

 

About 40 minutes walking, trying to get a clue of were to go and mess up ended up in vain. "Oh god, this city as so much polices" Sighed to himself while drinking a can of Soda, Mile had one too but he haven't drunk a bit... Draeg lifted his head and there was a perfect place to rest from his tiredness, they both entered and sat at one of the couchs, he looked trough the place, a pair of guys with their pokemons out... Better to hide this He tought as leaving his spear on the floor... he sighed and ended his soda...

Marisa awoke from her bed, eyes sparkling with determination. Today was the day. The day she set off for the Indigo League and start the whole journey of becoming a Pokemon Trainer. She looked at the foot of her pink blanketed bed. Her eyes locked onto her sleeping Ralts. She was lying on her back, mouth open slightly. The front red horn on Ralts twitched slightly, rousing her from her sleep. "Good Morning, sleepyhead!" Marisa said with a bright smile. Ralts crawled upwards to face her master. At only one foot high, Ralts was a very small pokemon. The perfect companion for a very small girl. Ralts shook with energy, mimicing the emotions Marisa was giving off. Ralts ran and jumped off the bed and into Marisa's open arms. She coddled the little monster as if it were a baby or a teddy bear. "Come on Ralts, we have a big morning planned ahead of us." Marisa said as she stripped down and got dressed, pulling on a pink skirt and a matching pink blouse with a red necklace. Ralts happily followed Marisa out of her room and was ready for a great adventure. They both were.

Alexander was ready. His Abra was teleporting in circles around him, he had a good supply of pokeballs he had borrowed from his sister, and he knew how to battle with his pokemon. Which was pretty hard, due to the fact the only move his abra knew was teleport. But, he had learned a couple tricks from his sister, and was already eagar to try them out. He strode confidently out onto the street. Immedatly, a bunch of trainers waiting outside the gym. "Hey, aren't you the leader's kid?" "No, stupid, he's her sister." "TELL ME WHAT KIND OF POKEMON SHE USES, OR DIE!!!" Alex pulled out a spoon. "See this? This represents your face." The trainers all backed away...and Alex put the spoon in his pocket. "No, I'm not going to do anything to you. Bye!" Ducking down a side-street, he made his way to the pokemon center. Overhearing a couple of trainers chatting about the gym leader, Alex felt his hand clench into fists. He glared daggers at them.

"Ok pincher and Crusher lets go do some more pokemon catching" Delano told them.

"Tur-Turtwig" Crusher responsed while pincher claked its pinchers. than Delano put pincher in its pokemon than run off north to see if he can find maybe a ponyta or so pokemon thats not a grass or water type. "Alrightie i wonder who we'll catch next Crusher" Delano told Crusher as they ran

With Ralts cupped in her hands, Marisa walked briskly downstairs and into the kitchen, where her mother was already fixing up a nice breakfast for her daughter, and even her Pokémon. Mr. Nickleson was enjoying a cup of green tea as he looked over a Sudoku puzzle. Marisa pulled out a chair and took a seat at the table. Ralts sat down on a napkin next to her. "Good Morning sweet-heart" Mr. Nickleson said as he slid a ticket across the table. "This here is your ticket aboard the S.S. Anne. It will drop you off right outside of Pallet Town, where you can begin your journey there." He said, taking in another sip of tea. "Who wants hotcakes?" Both Marisa and her father made known that they indeed wanted hotcakes. Marisa loaded her plate full of pancakes and butter with maple syrup. Mrs. Nickleson even set out a fancy little bowl of some custom made Pokémon food, with a sweet seasoning added. "Come on Ralts, eat up, we need our strength for the long bike ride that we have ahead of us," Marisa was right. They had to bike out of Celadon, through Saffron, past some open forested area, down a riverside, and into Vermilion City, where the Ferry would be waiting for them.

Erikah's shift had finished, she smiled as the boys shared thier moment out front of the cafe, before slipping into the employee changing room. It was clean, pristinely so, not a single mark on the shining floor... until Erikah stepped into the room, she managed to track a few crums into the changing room, but she'd be out of here for the last time before anyone had noticed, she'd handed in her regisgnation two weeks prior. shoes off... pants off...shirt off... knee-high blue and green boots on, denim miniskirt too, black and green sleeveless top to complete the outfit. Erikah set her uniform folded in the room and left it for the last time, on her way out, she was sure to make one final use of her employee discount grabbing up a fair few cakes and things, as well as a cup of coffee. She and Munchlax would eat well today.

Grabbing a last forkfull of Cakes, Marisa cleared her plate, as did Ralts with one last bite of her food. Once finished, Marisa took Ralts' bowl and cleaned it. Ralts hoped up onto Marisa's shoulder, her head bobbing left and right from the pure energy just radiating off of the red headed girl. "Now don't forget to take care of yourself out there," Mr. Nickleson said, getting up from his seat and standing next to Mrs. Nickleson. "And don't forget to call us every once in a while to tell us how far you are coming along on your journey," she added, tears filling her eyes. "Oh Mom, Dad," Marisa ran over to her parents and gave them a long, heartfelt imbrace. Ralts could feel the raw emotions coming off of the entire family, and was very peaceful for that. Mrs Nickleson thn handed Marisa her a messenger bag. "Aww, you guys shouldn't have" Marisa said, examining her brand new bag. "Well it's not every day my little girl turns sixteen, right?" Mr. Nickleson said, looking at his daughter, all grown up. "Inside you'll find a few change of clothes, a nice stock of first aid for you and your pokemon, a kit for you to make a fire, cook food, sleep gear, oh and a few pokeballs for your journey." Mrs. Nickleson chimed in, still hugging Marisa. "You had best be off Marisa, the Ferry leaves in a little over half an hour," said her father, still smiling. "OH good luck dear. Don't forget we'll be rooting for you to go all the way!" her mother said, still crying a little. "And don't be too shy on bringing company home when you do get back to Celadon. You'' probably meet a pretty cute boy or something" Mr. Nickleson said, making Marisa blush. "Goodbye, thanks so much for everything." Marisa said with teary eyes. "Rall, Rall!" Ralts mewed with emotion. "Goodbye, dear" Said both parents as Marisa walkd for the door of the house, and entered her brand new life, full of mystery and awe.

20 minutes of running......

 

Delano spots a wide open field with a few pokemon in it. "Alright lets see what do we on the menu today. Pidgey, rattata,spearow...whats that over there" Delano said as he saw a shadow of a pokemon running around. Delano ran towards the shadow and to his shock was a ponyta. "Sweet a fire pokemon was looking for one of those. Pincher its time to shine" Delano said as a white beam of light reveal Pincher. Pincher made claking sounds with his pinchers. "Use bubble attack on that ponyta" Delano commanded. Pincher released bubbles from the foam on its mouth at the ponyta. The ponyta thats a direct hit than it uses stomp on Pincher. Pincher gets stepped on "Use vicegrip and hold onto its legs than use bubble" Pincher grabbed on to ponyta making the ponyta scream in pain. the ponyta started running around trying to knock pincher off hit's leg. As pincher let go of the ponyta's leg it released a bubble attack. the ponyta countered the bubble attack with an ember canceling both attacks out. "Ok pincher come back your up Crusher" Delano said to his pokemon. "Tur-Turtwig" Crusher said as Pincher came back to Delanos side. "Crusher use razor leaf than tackle" Delano commanded. Crusher started running releasing razor leaf off the wall while the ponyta burned the leaves with its ember. Within seconds Crusher got close to ponyta and rammed it in the side of tackle. "Now Tackle again" Delano shouted and Crusher proceeded with multiple tackles. However the ponyta fought back with tackle doing damage to both pokemon. Both ponyta and Crusher start panting from exhaustion "Alright it looks tried. Pokeball go" Delano Screamed as he released the pokeball from his hand at the fire horse. "Come on" Delano said has the horse disappeared into a red beam and the pokeball started to wiggle. Delano stared at the pokeball intensely waiting to see if he made his capture. After 6 wiggles the pokeball remind still. Delano walked over and picked up the pokeball. "Alright i caught a ponyta" Delano said as Pincher claked hits pinchers in joy while Crusher jumped up and down "Turtwig Turtwig!!!" Crusher yelled in joy

Roy had just finished training Totodile an leveling it up when he heard a scream outside. "Whats happening?! C'mon Totodile! Lets Go!" Totodile ran outside before Roy and paused in shock. "What?" Roy said as he opened the door. He froze. A Cubone was hitting a girl across the face with a bone it was holding. "That's weird. Pokemon don't usually act that way" Roy thought to himself. Then he looked again and Totodile was tackling the Cubone. Soon, a member of Team Rocket came up. "What do you think you're doing you little pest?" the grunt said. He kicked the Totodile out of the way and picked up his Cubone. "What was that about?" Roy asked the little girl. "I...I....I....don't...know....w..what.....happ....happened....it.......j..just....attacked....me." she replied. "BTW, whats your name?" "My...name....is.....Lyra." Hi, Lyra! I'm Roy!" Seconds later Lyra's mother runs towards them. "My baby! What did you do?!?!" Lyra's mother screamed at Roy. "Mum.....It....wasn't....him." Lyra tells her mother multiple times. They run away. "Bye.....Roy." Lyra whispers.

Max awoke suddenly. His Cyndiquill (Blaze) was nibbling at his foot. "Ouch!" When he was up, Max went over to the PC to check on his emails. He noticed most recent from Roy was last week. Wonder what he's been up to. So he sent one to his phone asking just that.

"Max, are you awake?" his mother yelled.

"Yes."

"Then come down for breakfast...Now!"

"Fine!"

Roy ate his breakfast quickly and checked his phone.

"Hey Roy. What have you been up to? I read your email. Send one back. Max." it said.

Roy sent an email. "Not Much." he wrote. "My Totodile saved a little girl yesterday. She said her name was Lyra. Sound familiar? She lives next to me. Oh yeah, almost forgot! I might be going to Cinnabar Island to talk to my grandfather, Blaine. Might see you there. Roy."

"All done." he said. Then he felt a nudging on his leg. He realized Totodile was hitting him. He figured about the day before, being kicked. "Oh man! Totally forgot!" Roy picked up Totodile, and ran to the closest Pokemon center. "I need help desperately! My Totodile has almost fainted!" he yelled at the Pokemon center lady. "Okay. I just need to take your Pokemon for a few seconds......All done!" she replied. Roy ran out and stopped in front of Lyra, Roy's friend. "Hi Roy. I just wanted to say thanks for yesterday. Hey, do you know Max? I met him when I was young. Seya!" she said. "Toto?" Totodile asked. "Yes, I know her." Roy replied. "So does Max."

"Um...well...umm. Why dont I help you? Zorua is about the same strength as Cyndaquil, and they've never battled each other before." Dylan suggested, shifting from one foot to another. He stopped and reached into his pocket to pull out a head phone, reaching into his pocket and putting on a song, almost subconciously. Anyone who knew him really well would be able to tell this was a sign of nervousness, except he did this anytime he was with Valarie. "How bout it Zorua?" Dylan asked, looking down at the small fox.

Tyler woke up early in the morning. He spend the night with Lizzy, his girlfriend. She laid next to him in bed. Tyler got outta bed and walked over to his backpack. It had all his stuff for his Pokemon adventure. He got out clean clothes and put them on. He pulled a bra outta his bag. "What is Lizzy's bra doing in my bag?" Tyler asked himself. "Put it back!" Lizzy yelled waking up. She had P-J's on. Tyler threw the bra at Lizzy. "Going put that on in front of me?" Tyler asked. "Perv." Lizzy said walking into the bathroom. "Wake up Pichu." Tyler yelled at his Pokemon on the bed. "Picha?" "PSSSSSSY!" something yelled from in the bathroom. "Stay in your Pokeball, Psyduck!" Lizzy yelled. She walked out of the bathroom with Psyduck in her arms. She was fully clothed. "Let's go Liz."

Draeg looked trough the window, "So no buissness is here... this place is kinda boring arent it Mile?" He asked to his mate as left the couch with his spear on the hand, Mile had a little nap a while ago "Char..." Mile answered, then both sighed, "This is where having friends is needed, attack the city all on my own wont be smart" He laughed a bit after his words, "Better we move on, there gotta be someone with tasks for us, since we need some cash to stay here a while more", his logic was really acceptable, the city with more malls, surely there gotta be people with lots of cash and a lot of work, so maybe he could Take off his enemys...

 

He went out of the Pokemon Center and looked around. as he tought a lot of people with packs of cash on the streets, he only needed something to show he were doing jobs to people to earn his life, maybe that way he could spend the time...

"Come on out Filrse" Delano said as a white beam light revealed the ponyta he captured than started scanning its attacks "Lets see stomp, tackle, and ember, Interesting time to head to Pewter City" Delano said to his pokemon as all three of them looked at him and they became walking to their 1st gym. "Maybe i should stop by the celdon department store and get 3 tms for my pokemon.." Delano says than looks to see if he even has any money "lets crap i'm broke better go find a job or something" Delano said to himself than just decided to go to Pewter City anys but walks towards Safforn City. "Well i'll go through Saffron city than to vermillion city to go through diglet cave maybe i'll catch a diglett on the way" Delano says to himself has his pokemon follow him

"Totodile, use Water Gun!" Roy yelled. It weakened a Starly. "Totodile, come back, go Pokeball" Roy yelled again as he threw out a Pokeball. It wiggled, and he caught it. "Very impressive." Professor Oak said as he clapped and came towards Roy. "Who are you?" Roy asked. "Why, I'm Professer Oak. And you are?" he replied. "Roy, Roy White" he replied. "Well, I think you might need this." Oak handed him a Pokedex. "What's this?" Roy asked. "Why, it's a Pokedex! The greatest invention for viewing all the Pokemon you've caught or seen! It should help you on your journey to become the best Pokemon Trainer. Also, if you meet someone called Ash, tell him I said hi" Oak replied. Lyra came out from behind Oak. "Hi, Roy!" she said. "You know Professor Oak?! He's my grandpa!" She said. Roy replied: "Whaa?"

Devon gave a quick yawn to realize, he fell asleep! "What the..." He checked his Poke-Gear for the time. "Oh CRAP!" He went over to his diglett, "Diglett return!" And ran over with his Abra to Pewter City. "I Can't believe I fell asleep, Why didn't you wake me Abra?" Abra looked up at him while they were running, "Abra abra abrabra! Ab Abra abra!(I tried! Your a heavy sleeper!)" They got to Pewter in no time, after all it was next to an exit of Diglett's cave. "C'mon, lets go to the nearest Pokemon Center and get some food for you two, and me for that matter." They got in, and got food. There was a lot of tables by the windows still open. "C'mon." Diglett and Abra began to stuff their faces and Devon gulped down his food.

A few jobs after that moment...

 

Both, Draeg and Mile ended up on a street with about 2K of money on his packs... "Dude... we've got a lot of work here..." said as drinking a gulp of water from a bottle, "Char" Said Mile before he took a drink of his own... "We will surely need another pokemons... I heard about a place were no police is, but we will need to go over gim leaders to bite it down" Said Draeg as smiled at his tired friend, "Lets rest for now, we will seek for a water pokemon, or a grass one" Said as patting the head Mile...

While walking Delano got an idea "Crusher, Pincher return" delano said as the 2 pokemon disappeared in a red beam of light. "Flirse i'm gonna ride you to Saffron city it will be much faster that walking" Delano said to the firey horse and it nodded in agreement. Delano climbed on Flirse's back. Than when delano gave the signal Flire run as fast as the wind while Delano had its heads around Flirse's neck so he does not go flying off.

 

10 mins later...

 

Delano notices a person and charmander not to far in the distance. Delano waved the mysterious person with one hand as he held on to Flirse with the other. "Alright slow down than stop Flirse" Delano instructed Flirse. Flirse slowed down and stops right next the unknown person and his charmander and Delano said "Hello fellow trainer" Delano greeted
