Brendano Harns
It needs extra light effects (lens flare/gradient flare). Be sure to lower there opacity if you decide to add them. Also, the fractals in the bg don't work together with the render to enhance the overall disposition of the tag, therefore none of it blends. Add a lot more effects to it, and make sure everything is color coordenated. ;)

Even then it's not necessarily recommended. As for the tag,the lighting just isn't there. You need some depth. Lacking flow, but colors weren't the worst I've seen. I recommend searching Deviant Art for some tuts ^+^

You need to either selectively highlight to restore color depth or remove the parts of layers that are causing the problem. Ooh, and none of my graphics use "effects" anymore. Effects are just there to teach you how stuff goes together, after a while you'll stop using them.

I was trying to think of something more basic for him to start off with' date=' but w/e. Ooh, and none of my graphics use "effects" anymore. Exactly, which is why he needs to use them because obviously he still needs a little help learning how things go together.
