Effect: 1.5 points.

This card has potential. It's basically Banisher with a Graveyard lock and 300 more ATK. I'd play this. That being said, it does contradict itself in the effect, which makes the card itself an infinite loop.

OCG: 2 points.

"Cards cannot be removed from play, except by this card's effect. Any card sent to the Graveyard is removed from play instead."

The part in bold is crucial.

Style: 1.5 points.

I'm not big on anime pics, nor set numbers that consist of "666" and nothing else.

Overall: 5/10

The card is supposed to be an infinite loop.

Eh, OCG isn't important to me at all. I don't even play the damn game.

The picture or the set number shouldn't effect the rating of the card. Ever. Especially the set number. I'm pretty sure no one cares about that.

Let me assess you.

A. DON'T RATE ON PICS. IF this was in written cards the pic would not be there! It's n00bish to rate it on that.

B. Don't rate on set number. It's n00bish.

C. Comprehend these words. It. Is. A. Joke.

D. WTF is style?! You rate on ORIGINALITY, Effect, Attribute, Type, Effectiveness, and the like. NOT STYLE.

A. Yes, but this is not the Written Cards section. Pics are important in RC because they add to the overall look and feel. If YGO didn't have pictures on the actual cards, I'm positive there would be fewer players. So pics are important.

B. I give/take half a point for set numbers. I personally think it's a little thing that makes a card look more realistic. And, seeing since this is the Realistic Cards section, set numbers are something important to consider.

C. Well, if it's a joke, it should be in the Other Cards section. Joke =/= realistic. If he's going to post it in the RC section, I'm going to rate it like the rest.

D. I'll admit, "Style" is a bad name for that category. But that encompasses things like set numbers, picture quality, and other tidbits that I look for. I believe that how a card looks is important to its overall quality, so I have a section to rate for it. I have high standards for the cards I rate. They can't just function well, they need to look nice, too. That's how I rate. That's how society rates. It's just the way the world works.

What loop? When this card is sent to the graveyard, it is no longer on the field. Therefore the first effect is not valid, and this card will be removed from play.

EDIT: Title Change.

Pics should never be important. I don't care how much 'feel' it gives the card. Rating the set number is just funking retarded.

And no, it doesn't go in AOC, because this card is realistic, despite it being a joke of sorts.

EDIT: @Icy: This card doesn't loop itself. It's meant to loop other cards.

... Seriously.

What loop is there?

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, cards cannot be removed from play. If a card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

And even if this card could cause a loop, it'd be ruled that it being removed from the field does not constitute being face-up. So this card is removed from play regardless.

As long as this card remains face-up on the field' date=' cards cannot be removed from play. If [b']a[/b] card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

Read closer. This says "a" card, as in any card. So if I Summon this and then play, "Heavy Storm," for example, all the cards that HS destroys should go to the Graveyard. The second effect says they're removed from play. The first effect kicks in and says no, so they go to the Graveyard. But then the second one kicks in again, etc...

...according to game mechanics, you can't create an infinite loop, so one of two things happen:

  • You can't play this card at all because it causes a loop.
  • After this card hits the field, you can't play Spells or Traps, nor battle, or do anything else that would send a card to the Graveyard.

Read? I sincerely doubt Konami would ban a card like this just without a ruling change. BKSS it right?

What I'm trying to say is that it's not important what happens to this card at all. If this card goes to the Grave, then that's it, it goes to the Grave. But the effect says that "a" card, as in "any," card, as in "any card that's played while this card is face-up," gets RFP'd while this card is on the field. And, seeing as the first effect prevents that, problems arise. All I'm saying is that the first part of the effect should end with "...except by this card's effect." It's a simple errata that makes the card functional. It's what Konami would do, anyway.
