Plot:

Grand Avatar Aang and Lady Katara have held peace between the 4 Nations for 150 Years. As time grew older so did they and on the night of the Lunar Eclipse, both passed away in the comfort of each others presence. The Nations went into chaos as they started wars over territory and greed. There was so much turmoil that with her last bit of bending, Grand Master Toph had to split the four nations apart casting each nation into a different hemisphere, she passed shortly after.

 

Societies started to crumble and rouge benders and organizations became known to the public. One group in particular was becoming more and more powerful every day. They were known as T.A.O or Tyrants Achieving Order and they were advanced benders. These outcasts had trained so hard and so long that they created the most powerful of all bending styles, Space Bending. This bending is said to be so powerful and cause so much stress on the mind that it causes accelerated aging in those who use it. T.A.O's technique was limited though and the only way to fully achieve full power over the bending is to absorb the Sacred Godai Jewel. This jewel is the center most power of all bending and the source of all elemental phenomena.

 

16 years later a water bender named Riu has fully mastered and perfected his water bending skills. The day he turned 16 the tribe revealed that he was the new Avatar the world has been waiting for. Scared of the truth he ran away from home to find peace within the forest, shortly after the spirit of Grand Avatar Aang visited him and encouraged him to live up to his duties as the avatar. Riu accepted his fate but knows that defeating the new and virtually unstoppable threat is a near impossible task and that he cannot do it alone. He knows that first he must find the truly last air bender left, Aang"s great grand daughter, Asuri. The journey in front of him is near impossible, and now Riu is holding the final fate of the world in his hands.

Personality: Riu was never a shy child and never was afraid to speak his mind to anybody. He is courageous and very adventurous which sometimes gets him in situations that are very dangerous. He is very focused and calm when bending but when he is amongst friends he tends to become very outgoing and fun to be around.

Appearance: Average height for a boy his age. A lean, athletic built. He wears a blue and white water tribe sleeveless shirt with dark blue shorts and bandage wraps around his legs. He hates wearing shoes which is why he has bandage wraps also around his feet. He has white hair that appears silver in the moonlight. The hair stops at his jawline and is wild but kept up at the same time. His eyes are pure violet and he has the water tribe insignia tattooed on his back. He has tan skin and a smile that reminds you of the grin of a wolf.

Other: Hes the best water bender in his entire tribe.

Bio: Riu was born exactly one week after the passing of Grand Avatar Aang. His father was a powerful water bender and his mother was as caring as they come. When he was 3 the entire tribe noticed that he had a gift at water bending seeing as he used the water to make snowballs to teethe on. When he was 6 the T.A.O invaded his tribe with there powerful new militia. His father was taken down by a soldier while his mother was taken captive amongst many other prisoners. After the invasion was over Riu's older sister, Fera took care of him and raised him. When he was 16 Fera told him that the elders had for seen that he was the new Avatar. Riu didn't believe them and ran away from his tribe. He was soon encountered by the spirit of Grand Avatar Aang who encouraged him to accept his duties as the Avatar and save the 4 Nations from there approaching doom. He finally found the courage to accept his fate and now has set out on a quest to find Asuri the last and final Air bender. He will need help on this journey...next stop, Sacred Air Temple.
