Everyone shut the Hell up before I return and actively moderate General. This is your one and only warning.

You shouldn't even be a Mod' date=' but staff management here and fairness between the ranks is beyond subpar.

As much as I want to agree, I'm not going too.

Frunk has proven to be a great asset to the mod team, and I respect the guy.

^ He has a life

=/= Mean he can't moderate at all.

and has another site.

Which he puts way more time and effort into.

Give him a break ^_\\\

Since he's a staff member he already gets an infinite amount of breaks' date=' keep up. :S

[/quote']

Invalid argument.

Good try tho, Atlas. ^_\\\

Because he has a life outside, it DOES mean it's harder to moderate. I understand, however. You don't know what it means to actually HAVE a life. Sorry.

Him having his own site and paying more attention to it...

Right, let's think for a second. You take the time and effort to create your own site, only to be on another site more often, thus not maintaining your site very well. That sounds perfect.

Staff members actually don't get a lot of breaks. Other moderators DO rag on their fellow mods quite often. One of the reasons the mod forum is there, is for us mods to say any issues with have with each other.

Next attempt, please?

Look, I know you have a hate for most of the forum team, and I can understand that. Just try to keep from fighting, please?

To Lust's First one: I respect him, too. He's one of the "True" Veterans & he has helped in many tremendous ways to improve this forum, it's just some members not able to cooperate.

The Second One: Yes, he does. I am a member. He is using time sleeping, having a life, or running between the two forums correcting people, banning people, posting, & locking here, & being an Admin at the other site. Respect him for what he can do & give him a GD break. Looks like some people don't have lives.

Irooooooooooooooooooony.

Oh, and he never said it doesn't make it harder, he said it doesn't make it impossible. Keep up.

I know. Just because something is possible, doesn't mean it's easy >_>

He has other things to do. Keep up.

I actually do have a life, I just have less on my plate than Reece does.

Same here. Way less. All I have is my usual, & Summer HW. Okay, for a minute there, I freaked. YCM is at it's closing act. It's almost done for good. I'll just watch if it'll die or not.

Thanks for the compliments Yankee and others.

Corporal Atlas, I can confidently say I am a fantastic moderator. You joined long after I stopped using this site regularly, so how could you know about me, really? My own forum is a greater priority to me than YCM, yes, because in my time here I learnt from YCMaker's poor example. I learnt that members don't like inactive Admins, so like Hell am I going to give any other forum priority over my own.

Contribution to a site does not have to be through moderation. If there are Staff discussions I think my opinion would be useful in, then I contribute. If I'm here for whatever reason and see a little job in General that needs doing, I will do it, but my days of commitment to YCM have come and gone. I'm sorry if you expect more of me than is humanly possible. :/

Don't claim to know how the Staff here operates, either, because you don't, and with your attitude, you never will.

Ragnork sounds like a Crash Bandicoot villain.

I don't think it's a problem of being humanly possible. Like you said, it's a matter of commitment. What I think may stir some people up, and I fully understand that, is the fact that you basically resigned your position (legitimately) but every now and then still pop up and either lock or threaten to lock stuff up, then randomly disappear again. While I understand that you have other priorities, moderating a site (or rather, having the power to do so) is something that should be given only if that person is ready to make the site they moderate a priority. If they can't fully commit, then it sounds awkward when they just pop up and dish out warnings like they've been here all along and following everything that happens. In a sense, people may regard you in the same light they do YCMaker - you have power, but you take part in the community so rarely, that when you do try to get involved in active moderation (not just advising the staff) it comes across as awkward to us "common members".

There are nicer and less nice ways to put it, but I think that's about it. ;) Needless to say I was here while you were part of the regular staff, so I know how capable you are/were at the actual job.

I forgot to mention, because I thought it was obvious and Yankee alluded to it, my real life commitments in addition to my forum, which are numerous.

I don't have to post to moderate, and usually when I threaten to do things, it is sarcastic.

Everyone has real life commitments, that kinda goes without saying. And if they really aren't compatible with moderating two sites, relinquishing one of the positions is more frequent than keeping the job and "showing up for work" once per month :P that's what may look awkward to some people, because every so often you remind us that you're still lingering around ;)

You've been around long enough to know how sarcasm works in this community. :P
