Master White
Well, I had this idea, what if i turned a Synchro into a Lv monster, what then. So i thought, if I did that, I would have to make the effects more powerful, so then I asked myself how I would do this. Well, I chose Black-Winged dragon as the victim. But here are the written cards. I think the idea was an original Awesome idea.
Name: Synchro LevelerAttribute: N/AMagic Type: Spell/NormalLevel: N/AType: N/AEffect: You can only activate this card if you control a Face-up Synchro monster. You can destroy it to Special Summon 1 "Synchro Leveler" from your Graveyard or Deck with the same name as the destroyed monster.ATK/DEF: N/A Name: Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv1Attribute: DarkMagic Type: N/ALevel: 3Type: DragonEffect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of “Synchro Leveler”. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 monster you control to take no battle damage. During the Second Standby Phase, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon one “Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv3” to your side of the field from your Deck.ATK/DEF: 1500/1500 Name: Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv3Attribute: DarkMagic Type: N/ALevel: 6Type: DragonEffect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of “Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv1”. Once per turn, your monsters cannot be destroyed by battle. During the Second Standby Phase, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon one “Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv6” to your side of the field from your Deck. ATK/DEF: 2500/2000 Name: Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv6Attribute: DarkMagic Type: N/ALevel: 9Type: DragonEffect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of “Synchro Leveler –Black Winged Dragon Lv3”.Whenever you would take Damage from a card effect or battle damage, place 1 Synchro Leveler Counter on this card. This card loses 500 ATK for each Synchro Leveler counter on this card. Once per turn, you can remove all Synchro Leveler counters on this card to have all monsters your opponent controls to lose 500 ATK for each Synchro Leveler counter, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK lost by 1 of those monsters. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon 1 “Blackwing” monster from your Graveyard. Its effects are negated and it is destroyed at the End Phase. ATK/DEF: 3000/2500 I hope you all enjoy. Link to comment
-Griffin
Need types. I assume these are main Deck monsters? If so, you need? to say where you Summon them from and are you supposed to be able to Normal Summon them? The idea is interesting, but I don't see this particular set as runnable. They cannot be Special Summoned, yet have Special Summon conditions... Needs a general check for logic, and possibly something that would really make them viable. Link to comment
Master White
oops, I wasn't paying attention, I'll fix, thanks Griffin. Fixed Please check again. Thanks Griffin. Link to comment
-Griffin
Alright, some notes: If I'm adding in this many cards that could be dead in my hand, I'd really want something worth it. Summoning Star/Buster is much easier than Summoning Black Winged Dragon Lv 6, and it's also a much better monster. Their isn't enough payoff. All IRL Lv monsters have a Level equal to the number in their name, here, Lv1 is level 3. Why? All IRL Lv monsters (except Silent Magician) go up by 2 Levels each form. Not important, but a nice touch you might want to keep. These would be much more playable if they were in the Extra Deck, and didn't need the Spell for their first Summon. It's adding dead draws and situational-ness. Link to comment
Master White
Him I will think on that, but how could you make it a lV monster while still in the Extra Deck? Second, I forgot about how those Lv monsters normally go up by 2 levels, opps on my part. And Thirdly, I like to have a little touch on things, that is why i made the level 1 monster a Lv3. Whats the payoff, is the last monsters effect, which is 10x better than Black-Winged Dragons, its similiar, but not quite. Secondly, the basis behind all of this is that you go ahead and destroy your synchro monster and risk it to get to the finale monster that has a way better effect. As in turn, that is what my plan was. But I still need to think this through, I had lost my strategy through it all to, so sorry, but yea. Due to some errors that I like to thank griffin for pointing out to me, Please lock this. thanks. I will make it a little better, i haven't worked with Lv monsters in a long while. Thanks griffin Link to comment
